Interesting your pillar speaker had an issue at time of delivery, it should be covered under warranty and not only for 48 hours.
I renewed my premium connectivity, and then 5 months later was in a crash that totaled the car. Tesla told me I wasn’t able to transfer that subscription to my new Tesla.
I feel like 24-48 hours is way to short period of time to find defects on cars.
How often should u charge your Tesla if u driving it everyday at a nice distance
One thing I got to say, I wonder why Tesla does not install a 2 stage release on the emergency door release? first is an electronic one while being pulled at 1/3 the open distance, the the second part of 2/3 is the actual manual release for emergencies... that would save loads of hassle.

Great video Robert! I was cleaning my MYLR today and noticed that the wall carpet beside the gas peddle seems to be wearing quickly by our shoes. The car of about 8 months old. That said, do you know of anything to protect the wall to keep this from happening further? Thanks!
With this being bought brand new and having a bumper-to-bumper warranty the speaker should be covered. Anything can break at any time that's the point of a bumper-bumper warranty. I would push for them to replace it even though it's not a big-ticket item.
My new Model Y has the camera alignment issue. The mobile tech came today to fix it but said there were multiple issues and it needs a central service appointment. I’ve driven it about 900 miles so far, no autopilot or recognition of objects on the road beyond the road lines. Anyone else??

The algorithm to protect battery life means that when battery is new the usage is limited to between 20% and 80%, as above or below that the battery chemistry gets damaged. Now as the time ticks by the algorithm will increase the usage band, from 18% to 92%, then it will use 16% to 94% see the picture - this usage increase is to maintain range, so the range being 'normal' is not a sign of good battery condition..in fact once the range starts to drop the battery is badly damaged. Having an electric car is like having an ICE car with 10 gallon tank, but if you go below 2 gallons or above 8 gallons it damages the fuel tank, and also you cannot fill the fuel tank too quickly it will damage the tank... Frequent fast charging is the death for Li-Ion battery.
Good info! I am interested in the wheel protectors. Definitely think those are great. You are right about waiting too long about addressing issues. I have this screw rolling around in my passenger door when I take off or brake. I requested service for it and there will be a charge to look at this. It’s been 6 months. I thought it would be covered under warranty. 😮
Robert quick question on why you didn’t get the Tesla wall charger?
Not a Tesla owner yet, so what is Premium Conductivity? Is that a cellular plan? What happens if you live where there are many miles of dead spots for Cellular coverage? Secondly, I live in a rural area and spend time on gravel roads, I am guessing PPF is a must? Do you know of anyone having an after-market satellite radio installed? Thanks
