This week's Psi Ops Grandmaster has proven to be quite difficult for a lot of Guardians out there. I would argue the opening payload and the first room are just as difficult as the boss room. So for today's episode of Does This Build Carry, we need a Build that can help take all the aggro from the enemies, this includes those Unstoppable Champions but more importantly the Hive Guardian boss with his godly tracking void Shields. Well as you can see we can literally straight face tank those Shields for our teammates. This means they won't get killed by them and go just unload there damage safely from wherever there at. Also why doesn't our Sentinel void Shields feel that strong, think of how amazing that would be on the Void Titan. Make it happen bungie!
But on top of being able to tank everything so well. We are going to be infinitely blinding everything for amazing crowd control, our rift creates blinding pulses as long as it's on the field and we can get it back in seconds! This includes stunning those pesky unstoppable Champions with those blinding pulses so it takes them out of the fight since the rift lasts so long. Then we add in our Blinding grenade for a ranged source of blinding that also will jolt everything for us and we get it back so quickly thanks to the arc warlock subclass! We give infinite arc souls to ourselves and the team which are amped up, so they add a lot of extra damage to everyone on the team. And then we pop a ton of Chaos reach supers adding more jolt and damage and using our hard hitting heavy weapon to dish out great damage and apply scorch and ignitions. Oh and we still apply unravel to everything and pop out a ton of threadlings for more crowd control and damage.

Double dynamo on this build is actually crazy on how fast you can get supers. Love the game play loop because of how aggressive you can play it. LFG though has a hard time accepting build like this sadly.

Vesper has been a game changer for my warlock and despite the absence of arc artifact mods, it remains more defensive than a well warlock. Quick swapping between vesper and geomags has consistently put in more DPS than most other builds for the dungeon too

Yeah I was messing around with vesper trying to find builds and it’s great for survival.
And is only going to get better once we get some arc mods back so can’t wait.
I've been running my GM's today with this loadout, but the one thing I had tweaked was weapons, and I found it more effective; using Rat King as your primary weapon gives you access to healing, without depending on your rift, and also grants Invisibility. This has been useful as glaives are great when front facing, but often get pinned down; Rat King means that by knocking down even a thrall, you shoot back up in health, and can now go around and recharge Rift via the exotic armour; it effectively takes this build from being a front-facing tank, to giving it the ability to also act as an 'assassin' build, giving you the freedom to move from spaces of low to high cover, and also more freedom to leave your rifts around as Blinding zones, without having to stick too near them. All around the most fun I've had on arc warlock in ages!

@@davidhaydon4720 both of the blinding aspects, the aspect that reduces damage when enemies are near, and the one that drops orbs when amplified; the finisher that recharges class ability then either the protective finisher or proximity charge. then using Charged Up and the one that gives double charge on orb pickup, giving you ~40% Rift after a finisher (if you need it), and mods that fill me up to 100 in grenade and recovery. Im also running an Albedo King with lead to gold and regenerative aegis, and the Dawning weapon trait; since you take chip damage, between orbs and these presents, there are plenty of pickups on the floor for heath and rift regen

I wish more ppl would respect glaive in gms the defensive ability is crazy especially when its unstable glaive
Tried this exact build, pressed block on my glaive, pursued a combatant, and got deleted. Also, team wiped and was instantly kicked hahaha. Had 100 res, 89 rec, and 100 disc.

@@ianelliott8720Well... it wasn't the builds fault. It was yours. The build relies on blinding enemies to do damage. He even says in the video that once you blinded them you should swap to your primary and use that rather than melee them down with the glaive.

I'm running something similar now for fun, but I'm using the rocket pistol with voltshot and necrochasm for the booms. If you set the fragments up right, you're constantly blinding everything. It's hilarious and so much fun!
Love ur vids man, but have you ever looked into the solo/fireteam synergy of felwinters helm with collective obligation, i bring this up because after the buffs to both, i find myself with zero downtime on my abilities and finishers charge lowest ability for topping off, while outputting constant debuffs stacked with 2 void surges. Its honestly wild how little of this power solo/support set up ive seen tbh, very slept on, i dont mind sending you a dim link if ur interested?

@@teethingkorea3951 honestly the thought of that never crossed my mind, but I've seen literally zero other voidlocks running anything close to my set up after all the recent buffs to thus build, all the known builds have been nerfed due to the mod changes, but my build doesn't even need them which is fun.

People really need to look into utilising a tank/dps/support team structure instead of insisting on 2 dps/well. Like this build, a BoW Stronghold titan can pull and tank all of the aggro to allow a dpser to take out the enemies freely and the support keeps the other 2 in the fight.
If everything is dead you don't need defense lol at least in destiny

This is a badass build/playstyle for a GM ahaha. I shall try this next time +_+ I've been craving some arc lock.
Also, if anyone's still having trouble with the Psiops Cosmodrome GM and this isn't your thang (and you don't mind being cheesy):
Room 1: You can just invis most of the payload escort while others stay way back with scouts. Perma invis works best of course lol.
Room 2: Put a well by the entrance door and peak in and out + use the last warning to lock on and shoot around corners. Unravel is noice.
Boss: You can just stay on the pillar you land on when you get teleported/sent flying. It has an outer rim you can stay lower/further back on to hide. Will prob still have to duck and dodge shield/Savathun arc shots but.. better than doing so with all the ads in your face lol. Can invis others and all get the spear to damage Savathun or take it super safe and let the invis hunter do it slowly haha.
Love it ! This is an upgrade on the already tanky, Vesper build I've been using for the last few seasons. Awesome!! And people totally understimate glaives.. you can even tank the boss in Lightblade with one.
Glaives need more damage, they kinda on the meh side. Vexcaliber is pretty solid tho
I also tried vesper of radius in last weeks gm. Its alot of fun and a potent exotic

Been using this setup with Karnsteins for the longest time, but I have loved it even more with the Vesper ever since it got souped. There are fancier glaives, but Nezarec's Whisper will always be my favorite.
I've said this before but this Is even more true now, Plunder Is the sole reason for why I boot up the game still.

If you don't have access to Nezerac's Whisper, what glaive do you recommend?
Since I don't have Mykel's, I traded DB/Vex for Final Warning instead.

stay on the payload, they despawn as soon as you reach the big rig 👍
Love this build, caution though don't use with people trying to get finishers, souls kill stuff so quickly..
It’s a cool build but definitely wouldn’t work in a lfg, nobody plays aggressively so you’d be out there own your own taking everything on by yourself while your teammates sick back in a corner with Polaris since that’s the meta right now

I swear you are playing a different game than I am Mr. Plunder, I got instantly destroyed by everything with this build??? And I even was testing it out in a legendry nightfall first to learn the nuances. In a rift with a blocking glaive, dying in a fraction of a second by even low tier adds. 100 resilience, 90 recovery and 100 discipline??? WTF??

I'm a big fan of your builds! The build looks like great fun, but not sure this is the end-all-be-all GM build for this week. Why were you only able to complete this GM 1 time out of 22 runs?
Could you use Final Warning in the primary slot and use something like Semitocian in the heavy if you don't have a good roll for the RON sidearm?
Q: How long do I know each shield charge lasts? There's no count down or anything. I can't hold the shield up indefinitely, so is there a way to keep track? Thanks!

Yo Im kind of tight right now. I’ve seen a lot of plunders builds that he posted seasons ago being tweaked. Now a lot of people using his builds going into other streamers channels and posting them like they came up with it. The stasis Titan is all over aztecross channel and it’s crazy whoever suggested it literally took it from plunders old videos even the updated ones.

I've been using this build since Vesper was buffed. I've seen a few variations of this but you using Flashbangs is vindicating to me as it's what I use and Ive commented in other videos that I use flashbangs and got heat as they are not good grenades apparently. Im glad you publicising how good they are!
Love your builds as always - im just not a fan of glaives. Still - you definitely have the best builds and i love that.

Yeah I tried out the vesper changes early last season in the beginning Crotas end raid lantern section and didn’t even need to use any weapons or other abilities…
