I do have a question though. Since you use Celestial Fire, do you have any particular tips or methods to help make it more consistently land a melee kill? Whenever I run Sunbracers, the thing that always makes me want to take them off and never use them again is somehow whiffing on a melee kill, and that's with Incinerator Snap. Do you do anything specific with Celestial Fire?
Regarding Celestial Fire, my best piece of advice is to use it on targets who are either low on health, don't have movement abilities, or both. It's very inconsistent especially against Taken and Scorn enemies, as they tend to teleport/fade out of the way constantly, but that's kind of an issue with all ranged melees and isn't unique to Celestial Fire specifically. This build is also designed almost exclusively to recharge the Melee Ability as fast as possible, so if you run your Subclass/Armour Mods exactly as I have, you should have no problems with your Melee uptime even if you do end up missing or just not getting a kill with your Celestial Fire you'll have it back up super fast!

Excellent tutorial. Clear concise information and very detailed. I’ve been using this for months now but there’s always room for change/improvement. Subbed. My gf is new light and loves void warlock. Although Solar is current meta I’ve advised her to stick with Void until she understands the subclass properly and collects some decent weapons before expanding into other subclasses…Do you have a build for Contraverse Hold/Graviton Lance? I helped her already with some basics but time is limited and when I start telling her a bunch of stuff it’s not that long before the eyes start glazing over 😂a good vid for her to absorb in her own time would be very helpful 👍

Also, since Radiant is really easy to get this season, you can swap out Ember of Torches for a different Fragment. I use Ember of Wonder.

the epochal integration and or polaris lance also would be really good here. not sure if you've considered those.
I always seem to forget about Epochal Integration, but that would be a great choice for this build! Polaris Lance is just simply one of the best weapons in the game this season, so it's good with every build haha!

Are the seasonal mods mandatory?
i use this build and would suggest Monte Carlo as well, gives you constant melees
you can get constant melee by being in the air while ur grenades kill without having to use exotic gun slot

Pretty much! You don't have to use your melee while in the air if you find getting kills to be more consistent while on the ground. Also, the second time you proc the Sunbracers Ready buff, you most likely won't have to consume a Grenade first, as any Solar kills while airborne will extend Heat Rises's timer. But yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it!
I appreciate that thank you for the information, the last build I used you had to scorch with melee, do phoenix dive then you can spam nades but after that nothing gave you back ability energy fast.@@NoOasis
For this build, the Phoenix Dive is simply brought for the Restoration x2 buff, which it grants you if you use it while Heat Rises is active. As for regenerating Melee Ability energy quickly, use any weapon with Pugilist (preferably a Solar weapon), the Ember of Searing Fragment, as well as the Melee Kickstart mod on your Arms. Getting kills while Airborne also grants you Melee Energy when you have Heat Rises active, which is additive to Ember of Searing's granted Melee Energy when killing Scorched targets, as well as the Pugilist weapon perk. These three things are additive with each other, and grant a significant amount of Melee Energy so long as you're getting kills while either Airborne, on Scorched targets, or both!

100%! I've recently used this build myself to solo flawless both Warlord's Ruin and Duality, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be able to easily flawless Ghosts as well!

How do you proc restoration initially?
Good question! As long as you're using the Heat Rises Aspect, while Heat Rises is active (i.e. after you've consumed a Grenade) your Phoenix Dive Class Ability will grant you the Restoration x2 buff for 3 seconds. If you're running the Ember of Solace fragment, you get this Restoration buff for 4.5 seconds. Then, while your Restoration buff is active, get kills with your Solar Weapons and Abilities to extend Restoration's timer via the Ember of Empyrean fragment!

My restoration does not last as long, why is that?
I don't understand how your healing so much, also how do you have 5 fragments in your subclass I only have 4
For healing, firstly, I'm using the Restoration x2 buff. This can be procced by consuming a Solar Grenade to activate the Heat Rises buff, then using your Phoenix Dive; using your Phoenix Dive while Heat Rises is active grants you Restoration x2, which heals you for 50 health per second. I'm also using the Ember of Resolve Fragment, which grants the Cure buff to heal for 60 health every time my Grenades get a kill. Lastly, I'm using the Recuperation mod on my Legs, which grants me 70 health every time I collect an Orb of Power.
Also, I'm not using 5 Fragments, just 4; those Fragments are Ember of Empyrean, Ember of Resolve, Ember of Singeing, and Ember of Torches!
