My Best Vegas Meal! Bazaar Meat's $400 Experience

After visiting a few buffets in Vegas, it's time for a change to a traditional meal... and what better place to have a traditional meal than at Bazaar Meats, one of the restaurants from Jose Andres that features many tapas and luxurious meats and steaks.
This meal experience certainly didn't disappoint and while I couldn't decide which dish to try, and wanted to try all of them, they have just the right solution... a tasting menu! In fact, this is the ultimate tasting menu with great tapas, and great steaks! But this was not cheap! The Ultimate Tasting Menu is $275 and with drinks and gratuities, this will easily bring it up to $400!
But the dishes and ingredients certainly lived up to the price tag... with caviar, king crab (de-shelled for you of course), and course after course of steaks! Wagyu, Kobe, and more! Definitely a splurge on this meal and very grateful to get try this, and even more grateful to share this experience with you!

When you have been touched spiritually then you can enjoy the simplest things. I have overcome hunger. We live in magical times and must be grateful for the crumb if that is all we have to eat. But if we have more as you guys do 🙂 Traveling here and there taking in the best restaurants then life is more of a blessing and I am very grateful for what you share on your Journeys. But you and him are different because you are a family man and enjoy the parks and Tim does his thing 😇

A long time ago I went to Spain to see my daughter. I decided to stop by the supermarket and get a leg of Iberico ham. They had just switched to the euro.
Anyway, I told the guy behind the counter, give me your very best leg of Iberico ham. He did. I signed the credit card receipt and left. When I got to my daughters mothers house , I unpacked it and gave it to them as a gift so we could all enjoy it. They started slicing it into really thin slices and when I had one ...I was absolutely blown away. I had eaten Iberico ham before at tapas bars and such, but this was something compltely different. I had never tasted something so flavorful and the fat just melted in my mouth like porky salty butter.
My daughters grandmother looked at me kinda weird, and asked me if I knew what I had bought? I asked why? She informed me that there levels to these Iberico legs and this was the best of the best. She didnt ask me to, but I pulled out my receipt and she looked at it. She slapped me on my back and just started laughing like crazy and told everyone to look at the receipt. We all started laughing. I had unknowingly paid 1,500 euros, which at the time was over 2,000 USD. Before they switched to the euro, it was like 200 peseta's to the dollar. I had paid but was still thinking in peseta exchange rate. I just gulped and continued to eat that delicious ham leg for the rest of the week.

I ate here about a year ago and loved it! I got a cheaper tasting menu but added 2 oz. of Japanese Kobe! They brought a Bonsai tree and the certificate to the table with the Kobe. You're correct about only needing 1 oz of it, 2 oz was nice, but not necessary! I paid about as much as you adding those 2 oz.
I can't believe how expensive the beef was! But very very tasty and agreed.. a little goes a long way 😋

really not a fan of fancy pretentious restaurants, but Tim you definitely have the charm to make me enjoy this experience I wouldn't watch with any other creator.

One of my faves, last time I did the tasting menu they brought out a bowl of potato soufflés, as an extra dish, so much crunchy goodness.
It's always a fun event at these tasting menus. Always whimsical and fun.. though they are certainly pricey 😉

Proper fork and knife handling is as you did it. 😊👍
The strange is the cutting of the meat and then putting the knife down and switching the fork to the right hand to eat the sliced piece.
The fork left hand knife right hand is correct and proper. That goes for the rest of the items on the plate be they the mashed, the veggies, etc.

Edit: Besides the amazing dishes, that rum cake at the end had me woozy... I can imagine how tasty it was ❤️

Certainly not an everyday or even a "once in a blue moon" meal. Really glad to get to experience the pill and very enjoyable. Things are cooling down here in vancouver, and hope they are as well in New York
Oh my goodness, this is a awesome tasting menu with caviar cone, king crab cocktail, Japanese Wagyu with a certificate and American Wagyu with mushrooms, potatoes with whipped butter and asparagus plus wonderful desserts. It’s pricey for such small portions 😯.

Tim I went to Bazaar meats and got the same tasting menu. I felt the food was underwhelming for the price and ordering Al carte for the meats would have been a better alternative.
Yeah it looks like it. For $200+ you can get a Michelin star dinner. This looks too gimmicky.
You know how to live, Tim! You will never forget that meal, well worth it in the big picture. My father took me to the flagship Guy Savoy in Paris years ago. I’ll never forget it.
This was definitely a very special dinner. Really could not imagine eating at some of these places, and really grateful that everyone was so welcoming 😃. Memorable for sure

Did you feel full up after the luxury taste test. I've never been to Los Vegas but the meal is on big plates but small amounts of food on them and for $224 is a very expensive meal. I would love to go for a good buffet in Los Vegas. Not being rube I'm interested different cultures. I love your videos.
