I ordered a K630 recently and I'm kinda having a hard time adjusting to the absence of function and arrow keys since I have to write a lot of code. I found this K552 goes for a similar price, I dont have a problem with paying extra for thr RGB version but I'm not sure if the blue "outemu" switches are similar to the cherry mx blue switches. Is there a good difference between the K630 and K552? Would be grateful if you could share your opinion. 🙌
First of all, for coding, I'd never recommend going below 75%. And Outemus are far from the quality of Cherrys. If you're on a budget I'd strongly recommend spending around 5k on RoyalKludges or any other brand that offers Gaterons. They are much more durable. If you absolutely have to stick to 2-3k, the K552 will suffice you.
@@rohitagniI thought I could return it but I guess I read the Amazon policy wrong for the K630, it said "replacement" only and not "return". It's alright tho, I've adjusted to my K630 and don't seem to have that big of an issue with writing code, just a lil difficult without the function keys. I reckon the K630 has higher build quality compared to the K552 so I guess it's not that bad. I replaced the shitty outemu switches with some gateron yellow g pro 2.0s, added 2 layers of EVA foam under the pcb and some PE foam over the pcb, I also added masking tape to the back of the pcb. Didn't lube anything and let me tell you, the sound is very good.
I've been using this keyboard for three years. It is budget friendly for sure, but its total trash. If you plan on using this keyboard for anything past very beginner gaming and baseline professional play, please dont.
I’ve had it for 5 years now bought it for $20 and i am changing the switches (glorious pandas) and key caps. I’ve used it and it’s a keyboard it will do whatever you want it to. You don’t need a $300 keyboard for professional play lol
I have ordered the RGB variant of K552 (White) with Red switches. It is yet to be delivered and it is going to be my first eber mechanical keyboard. As a full time programmer and occassional gamer, the TKL layout seems apt as per my requirements. Unfortunately, K552 RGB in Black colour is only available with clicky-Blue switches. (no Red/Brown switch option) I don't like the font though while the White variant is goung to require extra maintenance to appear clean.
Hey man can you give an update on the white one? I've been wanting to buy it for a while now but couldn't find any proper reviews so I was a bit sceptical.
@@ryzn007 It works well. I got it from Amazon as it was deliverable sooner. -The RGB effects on White keyboard looks awesome (I am not much of an RGB person tho) -The White keyboard is prone to getting dirty so ensure clean hands before using it (and regular/periodic maintenance may be required) -The switches are Red Linear type so they're a bit sensitive to key presses and perfect for gaming, however, requires a bit of being used to for typing -The keyboard overall sound really good (between poppy to creamy) -The keys feel good and the font actually looks good with bolder fonts to allow more backlight to pass through the keys -The lighting effects are also customisable through software which needs to be downloaded from the Redragon website -Keyboard comes with lighting presets and shortcut keys to toggle effects -It's a wired keyboard and the wire quality is good -The build quality is quite good and feels sturdy -The keyboard has significant weight and stays stationed even on the speed type gaming mouse pad which has very smooth surface -The height of the keyboard is adjustable by one level -The keyboard sits a bit higher than the conventional keyboards so a wrist rest may improve the experience if intending to use for longer durations
Not worth it for the price these days since the market is now flooded with so many mechs with better specs and features. My keychron c3 pro is just a tiny bit expensive but it has removable usb cable, rgb, hotswap keyboard, via support and the board is gasket mounted. I'm trying to find the solution if it is compatible with Mac but results say they do and they don't, I'll keep you updated as much as i can.

How is the white version of k552? Is it full customizable rgb?
I have the white keyboard, no its only rainbow but you can change the modes.
@@jaysonroman3142what’s the price of the white version?
@@rohitagni will kumara with red switches be good for coding ?
@@rohanmuduli91 yep
Which one to go between this one or logitech g213? Coding use
G213 is not a mechanical keyboard. If you want to buy an overpriced membrane keyboard, you're more than welcome to buy it.
@@rohitagni thanks lol
dont be rude hate that attitude
Still waiting for mine to arrive, I wish they put the Redragon logo instead of spelling it out
Arrived yet? how is it? im confused should i buy this or something different

I've been using this keyboard for three years. It is budget friendly for sure, but its total trash. If you plan on using this keyboard for anything past very beginner gaming and baseline professional play, please dont.
It's a beginner keyboard

(no Red/Brown switch option)
I don't like the font though while the White variant is goung to require extra maintenance to appear clean.
Hey man can you give an update on the white one? I've been wanting to buy it for a while now but couldn't find any proper reviews so I was a bit sceptical.
@@ryzn007 It works well. I got it from Amazon as it was deliverable sooner.
-The RGB effects on White keyboard looks awesome (I am not much of an RGB person tho)
-The White keyboard is prone to getting dirty so ensure clean hands before using it (and regular/periodic maintenance may be required)
-The switches are Red Linear type so they're a bit sensitive to key presses and perfect for gaming, however, requires a bit of being used to for typing
-The keyboard overall sound really good (between poppy to creamy)
-The keys feel good and the font actually looks good with bolder fonts to allow more backlight to pass through the keys
-The lighting effects are also customisable through software which needs to be downloaded from the Redragon website
-Keyboard comes with lighting presets and shortcut keys to toggle effects
-It's a wired keyboard and the wire quality is good
-The build quality is quite good and feels sturdy
-The keyboard has significant weight and stays stationed even on the speed type gaming mouse pad which has very smooth surface
-The height of the keyboard is adjustable by one level
-The keyboard sits a bit higher than the conventional keyboards so a wrist rest may improve the experience if intending to use for longer durations
Where did you buy from?

Do you think spending extra 700/- for RBG is worth it? RGB version is 2700/-
are u buying it?
you'll lose that craze in less than month trust me, typing feel and durability is main thing.
Bro both of us using the same mouse with the same keyboard except i have the full rgb version of the keyboard xDDD
Bought it already , before this video.
How the keyboard? Any wear and tear? Considering to buy for 2999rs/-
@@nileshkumar4091 go for it
You got win or windows logo on you win key cap?
Not worth it for the price these days since the market is now flooded with so many mechs with better specs and features. My keychron c3 pro is just a tiny bit expensive but it has removable usb cable, rgb, hotswap keyboard, via support and the board is gasket mounted. I did consider buying this keyboard some time ago but the permanent cord is a deal breaker for me.
Can you suggest some good mechanical keyboards?
Hey can we do singel color in all key ?
Not in the Rainbow version
Hey is it true that it has a 28ms latency?
definitely not. 28 ms is crazy high. its most likely around the 10-15 range (average for most gaming keyboards)
It's like 2-3
its a horrible latency. I can tell you that.
big fan sir
but i got mine in blue switchs ???
There is one thing wrong: blue switch is better than red swich
matters on your self. If you like loud clacky sounds, get blue
linear, thocky and better for gaming, get red
weird clicky stan
you guys scare me
AWESOME
How much does it cost?
43.99 @best buy think I’m about to order one.
3k inr for blues
20USD
But no braided cable... which is a drawback
Yeah idk why they didn't use that cable

you don't buy a full-size keyboard because your table is small
