I'm from Vietnam where Lunar New Year is the tradition. I must say this set has almost everything there is about the holiday. It would be perfect if it has a "lucky money" (or hong bao) tile to represent the tradition, where adults giving red envelopes of money to children as a wish of luck.
The red envelopes were present in the temple with market set from a few years ago.
I hope they will come back in future sets
This set does include the lucky money. If you look at 8:22 the kids are holding red envelopes 🧧. Am I missing something here?

Nice video. Narrative it reminds of the old nature videos I saw. How many studs wide is this? I saw its not on a baseplate. So wondering about that for integration.

You are correct; it doesn't include a baseplate. The building itself measures 30 studs in width and 12 studs in depth. The pavement adds an additional 3+3 studs on the sides and 4 studs in front.

This beauty is 99€ in France and I will buy it at Lego's (no other choice alas) and will close the back with bricks and 6x6 windows as I own lots of them, and build it on a 32x32 plate. Fantastic bang for the buck but it seems this set in underrated or people seems not to see the fantastic potential it has ! Thx to put on glory on this wonderful piece of kit ! Just subscribed.
It's interesting to note that the price of this Lego set varies across the Eurozone. In the Baltics, it costs up to 118 euros, while in Finland, it's priced at 120 euros! If you're in France, consider yourself lucky. Slovakia gets it for only 98 euros!
In my sincere opinion, it stands out as one of the best Lego sets, and I was also surprised by the limited number of Lego reviews on UA-cam.

I’m new to Lego so I’m confuse why some video says to buy the same set 2 times
Firstly, welcome to the LEGO community. Secondly, thank you for watching. Lastly, while some LEGO sets come with an open back, some LEGO builders prefer enclosed buildings. They buy two sets so they can combine them, creating a structure that looks complete from all 360 degrees.

One thing they got wrong, is Karaoke is more a well known Japanese thing, not really chinese! A really nice set though and great video.
One thing u get wrong, is not just Japanese, most of our restaurant especially with private room do offer karaoke, and yes , I’m Chinese

And the set is ruined by the arrival of: the sticker. Chinese new year sets have always had printed pieces. Shame.
There are numerous stickers, in my opinion, more than sufficient. I believe if there were printed elements, the cost of this set would be considerably higher.
