- We bring you a MOC from trains with lights on rebrickable. He brings a moc for the fan loved Orient Express. This MOC costs around $250-$350 dollars. It's a great addition to my train yard. Let me know what you think down in the comments.

I'm really inspired to make an electric train set that looks just like that one, because when I grow up, I want to start a toy company of my very own making toy trains and other toys.
That sounds amazing! I wish there was more trains in the toy space that are more approachable.
Cool train! I bought the instructions back in December, but I haven't ordered any of the parts yet to build it. To fix the wheels from stopping, have you tried adding one of the Lego red rubber belts (Part 85544) around the wheels? That should create much more friction and make the wheels move much easier.
That might work.
Just finished building this MOC because of your review. Took a long time but bro it looks beautiful.
I will recommend anyone to build this.
You are a saint and a scholar. Continue to the good word. I need to build the coal tender missing a few parts. Its tough building a city and trains :C
Very cool detailed build, Dude! 👍🏼
Simply Awesome!!!!
you're just missing the rubber belts that sit on the big driving wheels, since plastic on plastic doesn't have a lot of friction by itself (which is why they do roll when you apply pressurre to them)
Polar express meets Orient express.Looks Cool! Wish Lego would wake up and realize how much people do want trains back.
There is a huge market for trains if only they would sell more. The price for them will come down if they did.
I think Lego Is pushing off trains from The recent experience from the large hogwarts express, This can also be noted from several trains being declined in Lego ideas, Yes Model/Lego Railroads have always had a market and is NOT DEAD. Lego should make more trains like the Emerald night, Cargo trains, or the Maersk Train
@@chasesrailwaylinesrr6447 I completely agree. I want more trains for my city and honestly I think lego has forgot how many of us there are.
My point exactly, I love Legos trains, Now they only have a cargo train and a small city passenger train And the orient express. Lego ideas Certainly shows how many people want trains, There are even duplicates of the same trains, Lots of polar express, and thomas & Sierra NO.3
missing the red traction rubber bands on the drive wheels
The front and back trucks are supposed to swing, how else is it to negotiate the Lego curves of death? And as said before me, adding the rubber bands will help the grip
I will have to try that, thank you so much for the advice!
I’m going to say this train is beautiful and I want one too for my orient express but I don’t think it’s what was pulling the cars over there so it would not be period correct
You are correct this is a mix of a American model and the original build from Lego. I think its stunning and if you own the original model its only around 150ish dollars for all the parts for each but obviously depends on shipping and availability.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial I do have the Lego kit but I have another project going right now so I’m just getting my bearings as to witch way to go with it I’m kinda greedy so I don’t want to combine the original engine parts so I am looking at buying it all new
@@peskybobcat Yea I totally get your point. I have a bag of parts that are ment for the coal car and I just have not yet done the order for more parts yet.
I don’t like the PDF format for instruction manual is there a hard copy book format?
Unfortunately no , digital only. You could ask the guy who made it if he could make a printed version.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial I’m going to let this one slide it’s to difficult to get everything you need
@@peskybobcat Totally understand it is a undertaking.
Did bro just ate too much protein or something???
Anyone sale this as a kit ready to go?
Unfortunately , you would have to order it through the seller on bricklink. I don't believe anyone sells this as is.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial that would be ok if it comes all in one package so I don’t have to order each pease separately
@@peskybobcat You would need to get the instructions from here -
rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-165958/TrainsWithLights/orient-express-meets-pere-marquette-1225/#details
and then order the parts that he includes with the instructions. He has tons of other train models as well. If you need help making the parts list lmk.
@@BeardedBricksOfficial thank you I am new to all this and need all the help I can get someone should package this all up into a kit and sale it off eBay
@@peskybobcat Check out this video. I should help.
