I've tried the squared tipped single placer and I personally rather use the round tip no matter the drills are round or square because if you don't get the drill just right, it won't stick on the placer or it won't stick very well. Plus, to me it doesn't seem like the square tip holds enough wax or putty in the tip in order to stick to the drill. With the round tip, it doesn't matter if the drill is straight on the tray or turn in a different direction, you can pick it up no problem and the holds enough wax or putty for a whole session or at least until you replace it.
@@DawnDoesLife Oh no worries. I figured you might of missed it accidentally which happens 🤗 It's hard to trust online sites with the description. I had bought things online not as advertise a few times. Hopefully you find the right product 😉
@@DawnDoesLife I tried the plastic ones that came with my kit. I couldn’t get them to work. They were too wide. These metal ones are weighty enough and place so well. Much easier to get them straight too.
Hi Jane! Try using some pliers. Put a cloth or something soft between the plier and the tip to prevent the tip from getting scratched. A twisting-pulling motion might loosen it up for you. Please come back and tell me if that worked - or if you tried something else that worked🥰. Good Luck!
Hi Dawn😍 I tried the metal and the wax kept coming out. Am I doing something boring or should I use a different wax? Loved this video and thank you for sharing. Have a safe and Happy New Year!!🍾🥂🎉🥰🥰
Thanks for the comment, Bill. I see them being used all the time. You may see people use the white skinny placers at times too. It's probably because they come in the kits (sometimes) and also get the job done. 🥰🥰

I pretty much knew when I saw all your stainless steel tips!!!!
Great education video on Diamond 💎 Painting 🎨 It should definitely help out beginners and novice painters out 🤗

I have that set that comes in that little box. I love them so much.

I think one of my rubber bands on my metal tip wasn’t on the pen before I put it in so now my tip is stuck

@@DawnDoesLife Hi Dawn. The live stream was definitely a lot of fun. I have the cateared tip and I used the single tip. I will try again.
Hey do you have any advice on how to take my metal tip off I feel like it’s stuck I had the rubber bands on it
maybe pliers? I have seen other people give that a try with some success. *yikes
Hello. I’m sorry I got confused which tips you liked best. Bottom line: which brand was your favorite? barbaraSD
What wax do you use? Anything I put in the car ears pop out! It only takes 1 micro dot and that keeps popping out!
I never use the pink pen which comes with my Diamond paintings, i think they are so boring 😁
agree!! 💯🥰
Why doesn’t anyone use these in their videos?

I have a square head on one of my pens and to be honest it wasn’t worth buying it. It just feels the same as a normal round head
I absolutely love my metal tips 👍🏻😌
They are game-changers for sure!!! Thanks so much for watching!🥰
