I am an absolute newbie and I’m waiting for my kit to arrive but I have gotten a lot of useful information from watching videos and yours was so concise that I do not need to watch another one regarding static. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I live on a narrowboat and we’re constantly plagued with static in the winter due to keeping the fire going to stop condensation. I was kitting up this afternoon and struggling badly with the static. I didn’t have any rubbing alcohol, but tried dipping a cotton bud in hand sanitiser, the very thin and watery stuff, it was actually made in a distillery in the pandemic. I also added a ball of foil to each pot. Anyway, it worked like magic, and I’m very grateful.
This is great, thank you! Everyone else only recommends dryer sheets, which I don't have, but I DO have foil and hand sanitizer (closest I have to rubbing alcohol), so I'm going to give them a go now! The static on the drills I'm working on now is slowly waring away my patience, so thank you for these great tips! 😆👍🏽✨️🏴
Definitely learned a a few new things. Aluminum foil, the freezer trick and blowing in the bag. I don't have any tips I'm still learning myself LOL so thank you for making this video because I am quite literally dealing with static right now. LOL
Thank you for this tips video. I'm new to Diamond Painting. I got my storage kit today and started to transfer the colors only to deal with static. The drills were bouncing out of the tray as I picked it up. Finally, I applied rubbing alcohol to the tray. The drills fall out of the tray and into containers flawlessly now. Thank you.
Thanks so much. I did know most of the tips, but it was nice to see them all in one How-To-Video. You are absolutely right: there isn't just one solution that works all the time. I'm in North Central Texas. Summers are hot and dry, and I have the most problems during this season. Thank you! ❤
Do any of these tips work after kitting up. I just bought a kit and had MAJOR static issues that I've never run into before but kitted up anyway. I was so frustrated because they were going everywhere, and the kit only had 40 colors, and I still have 4 colors to kit up after doing it for over 3 hours. I use tick tack containers, and idk if dryer sheets will fit in cut into small squares with the more filled containers. Or will the static calm down once it's removed from the heat dealer bags once they're in bigger containers?
Oh no, what a pain! They should work but it may involve a bit of faff. If the containers are very full I would suggest tipping some out into a baggie to make space, then tipping the remaining drills into a tray so you can wipe around the container with a dryer sheet as some of the static may have transferred. Then put the smaller amount of drills back in the pot and maybe blow into it then shake it around, or put a small square of dryer sheet in and shake it around. You could try something along these lines each time you get to a new colour rather than doing it all in one go. Failing that it may be easier to just deal with it as you go now - as you use some drills and the level of drills in the container goes down it will give you some space for blowing and shaking or dryer sheet and shaking. Good luck!
And your comment is just damn right rude @cherienelson8647 You know that little cross at the top right of the video, well that allows you to stop watching it if you aren’t enjoying it. I’m sorry your life is so miserable that you lack kindness to others.
I for one am super appreciative of this model of video!! I listened to every word happily!! Thank you for all the tips and tricks!! This video is the only one I've seen so far, and I subscribed right quick!! 🥰 @@catsdiamondpainting
Just move on then if don’t like it without having to be rude about it! Better yet why don’t you make your own PERFECT video and see how that works out you.
Wow! I've seen many videos about static and I've never encountered the blow-in-the-bag technique. I cant thank you enough! 💜🧚♀️💜
You're very welcome!
Blow in the bag using a straw! It really worked for me...today. 😂

Omg get to the point. Dragging it out makes it so boring.
And rubbing alcohol can dry the drills out
I’m sorry to hear you’re not a fan of my style of video. There are plenty of other channels out there that you may prefer 🙂
