As a black man that grew up a nerd. I can confirm sisters wasn't into smart brothers and or who wasn't into hood culture. By my late 20s I had become a high earner, wearing suits out and going to lounges. Black women still wasn't having it but you know who was becky, Maria, Ling Ling. I settled with a Maria and moved to Florida and got a house. The black community is and going to be in a really bad place among other minority groups. Also, Hispanics just past African Americans for the most money made after white and Asian people.

Maybe it's generational. I think you younger guys may feel that way because you're more likely to have been raised since childhood in more diverse environments. I'm 47, a lot of my generation of black men were raised in the hood, many of us didn't even meet white people until we grew up and traveled. I grew up in Detroit of the 80s and 90s, my entire worldview was all black until I went to the Navy after HS, back then you had problems trying to move to the suburbs, we weren't welcome out there. But there was this one white girl I went to Navy A-school with that I really was feeling, I tried to kick it, but didn't know how to read her and it never worked out, but i could take the meanest, hoodest woman around and get her to calm down and be soft at least in the moment. Maybe if I had more experience with white women I would've at least gotten some play out of her, but we mostly talked about our differences if anything, she was cool, but I don't think she felt comfortable going further. Now I look at my kids and they have no issue at all dating other races and i attribute that to me raising them in diverse suburban environments.

And most of the kids raised in diverse environments with Others have a lot of positive identity issues. Multiple studies show that BLK people who have a strong positive identity of their own heritage have a.lower out marriage and dating out rate. You have a distinct culture and lineage. Them dating those kids don't make them the same culturally. They don't live the same experience. They don't have the same heritage. Having money and being upper class or middle class doesn't replace those things. Never ask a woman to allow you to lead, never even mention it. Just be decisive early on, you make the plans/dates and always be affirmative on your intentions. If she falls in line, cool, if she always has something to say when you lay out a plan, she isn't submissive. That's one of the main things that got me married, my wife always asks for my input and did so from day 1, she was vetting me during that same period for my decision making, trustworthiness and intelligence and I gained her trust. In 18 years, I've never had an instance where she wasn't on program.

It's not just same sex relationships it's specifically lesbian relationships with the highest rates of domestic abuse. Also studies show that the vast majority of women and man domestic abuse is done by both parties. In fact studies show around 70% of one-sided abuse is done by the woman to the man. But the way women portray abuse is as if they're just in the house watching TV and the man comes in and just starts slapping her around for no reason at all. By my late 20s I had become a high earner, wearing suits out and going to lounges. Black women still wasn't having it but you know who was becky, Maria, Ling Ling. I settled with a Maria and moved to Florida and got a house.

Maybe it's generational. I think you younger guys may feel that way because you're more likely to have been raised since childhood in more diverse environments. I'm 47, a lot of my generation of black men were raised in the hood, many of us didn't even meet white people until we grew up and traveled. I grew up in Detroit of the 80s and 90s, my entire worldview was all black until I went to the Navy after HS, back then you had problems trying to move to the suburbs, we weren't welcome out there. But there was this one white girl I went to Navy A-school with that I really was feeling, I tried to kick it, but didn't know how to read her and it never worked out, but i could take the meanest, hoodest woman around and get her to calm down and be soft at least in the moment. Maybe if I had more experience with white women I would've at least gotten some play out of her, but we mostly talked about our differences if anything, she was cool, but I don't think she felt comfortable going further. Now I look at my kids and they have no issue at all dating other races and i attribute that to me raising them in diverse suburban environments.

Them dating those kids don't make them the same culturally. They don't live the same experience. They don't have the same heritage. If she falls in line, cool, if she always has something to say when you lay out a plan, she isn't submissive. That's one of the main things that got me married, my wife always asks for my input and did so from day 1, she was vetting me during that same period for my decision making, trustworthiness and intelligence and I gained her trust.
