This is great. Subscribed! More content about the Avata would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get the best image without having to go the mounted GoPro route. Thank you!!!
Very good tutorial thanks. I was wondering about the effect of the sharpness setting in the camera. It seems that you left it at -2 for the shot, shouldn't it be better to set it to the max value ? Or does it adds some kind of unwanted effect of putted to high ? I just started filming in cinedlike and I putted the sharpness to 2 and i don"t really like the result
Hey, thanks! The sharpness is a digital filter baked into the file, making the images appear somewhat artificial. Adjusting color and contrast in post helps to enhance the crispness of the image without sharpness.
Be good to see something similar for a badly lit indoor shoot, i do real estate and sometime the footage/lighting is poor and I struggle to stop the resulting footage looking milky or hazy
The final product looks great! However, I thought you set the Avata to capture D-Cinelike, but the footage looks doesn't look flat in the timeline before you apply the grade. Did you start with Normal color or D-Cinelike?
@@chr1s_69 yes!! The MacBook Pro M1 pro is amazing but buy more ram if you can... 16gb is very good but with 32gb Editing/Graphics apps are a bit happier
Two questions! : what are the best export settings for Instagram that won’t alter your colors? 2. Is it better to change fps in project settings or in the export?
Hey, for digital content (instagram, youtube ,facebook, PC, Mac, smartphones, ...) HEVC or H.265 Main10 it's the perfect choice because it's has 10 bit color. About your second question the timeline fps must be the same as the export, you can also set the in project settings if you don't have different timelines with different fps.
@@stefanorinaldo how do you know what bitrate to send m? Also are there any other codec/gamma settings that work best for insta? I’m having issues with Instagram changing the contrast on me
@@shermer24 are you on a Mac? If so, you should use Rec.709-A check out this video ua-cam.com/video/H6TCMpw8nGw/v-deo.html ...for the bitrate you can use "auto".
I have found the avata footage d come very milky in appearance and not sharp. I noticed you habe a sharpness setting, whats your recommendation generally speaking

Nice tutorial! Tell me one thing. Did you stabilized the footage on Gyroflow before? If you did, what was the export settings?
I used GyrFlow but i don't remember the settings.. probably the default :)

Hi, yes it's was D-Cinelike (before the 10 bit upgrade). Actually you are right because the exposure was a little bit off... too dark.
do you need Davici studio for this
For avata 2 please
can you do a tutorial on how you make the text type out?!
Sure, it's very simple!
Check out this short ua-cam.com/users/shorts5ARDvONQ1bo?feature=share
hey what do you think of DLOG-M on the mavic air 3? what format is better for colorgrading ?
D-Log is good. It gives you 10 bit and a good log footage
Thanks for the video , i can't find how to add your template in DaVinci can you help me ?
Drag and drop the dpx file in the gallery section of the Color Page, then apply the template
@@stefanorinaldo It worked ! Thank you it save me a lot of time !
Great!! Thank you.
What PC do you use for Davinci?
Thanks, I use a MacBook Pro M1 Max

Generally speaking is good to have the minimum value possible in camera.
@@stefanorinaldo agreed but sometimes the environent does not allow and I am forced to go to auto ISO and SS to ensure the drone compensates
Can this be done on the free version of resolve ?
hi, yes you can!
Are they both 4k60 footages ?
yes, you can apply the workflow to any format
Grazie!
Motion blur dice che serve la versione a pagamento, ti risulta?
ciao, si serve la versione studio!
The background music is brutal, bro. I would rather have heard chickens crowing :)
