I bought it as the first Neural product I ever even tried. Holy shit! Seriously, for the price of a single pedal you get more tones than you can imagine and they are all absolutely pristine! This one plugin erases my need for Helix Native. I'm impressed, very impressed. Well done Neural.
@@lukather1 helix native its more complete but the sound its not that good, you need to dial in a tone for hours to get something good, with any Nerual dsp plugin you can get a brutal sounds in minutes
Neural plugins are geared to more metal styles, so of course you're gonna get brutal tones in minutes. Helix is a modeling system encompassing a lot more than just metal. So, it would stand to reason that it would take some time and know how to dial in what you need with the Helix products. If you know what you're doing, you can do everything with the Helix that the Neural stuff does. Yes, it'll take some tweaking, but you can still get there.
@@majesticpbjcat7707 actually no, they aren't. Many of the Archetype models are jazz and blues players as well as hybrid players like Tim Henson. I've had Line 6, Fractal, and all the rest. I can compere them with a degree of first-hand knowledge. Line 6 has really decent effects, ok amp models, not much more. You will never get the attack and response of the amp tones here out of a Helix. There is a difference in function and quality. Can I make similar, almost identical functional presets in Helix? Yes. Are the as good in sound quality? No. This single plugin comes with 4 amps, acoustic, clean, crunch and lead. And, it comes with pre and post effects that are just superior to the Helix.
