Dude thank you so much for checking it out :) Really appreciate the way you worked through it for your tastes and got some great tone. I appreciate the comments on the aim of the plugin! You’re right in it’s similarities to Nolly’s and the more ampy vibes. Anyway, loved the video! And hope you get some great use out of the plugin!
Thanks Rabea and thank you for the kind words, you guys absolutely killed it with this release! I’ve been playing with the synth so much off camera hahaha, definitely gonna be very useful in the future 🖤
@@KeyanHoushmandLive that’s awesome! Yeah the moment I realised I can write a riff and reinforce it with bass synth by playing the riff or just copy and pasting the DI track was immense hahah. I look forward to hearing what you make with it dude!
So cool to see you interacting with people about it Bea. This was a great review as always mate, can’t wait to get my hands on this. The synth part has me so excited!!
@@richburnsred of course! I’ve been looking around to see how people are enjoying it! Really chuffed with the feedback and love Keyan’s approach too. Having come from making UA-cam videos of gear, I’ve always thought if the boot was on the other foot, I’d want to be able to watch other people demo something of mine and get involved! Just like people do for my videos! Haha well… we are here 🙌
@@RabeaMassaad well I think it’s really nice to see you taking the time. Keyan reminds me very much of yourself, humble and extremely talented! Who knows, maybe we will get a Houshmand archetype in the future 😍
Great vid, Keyan. I’m more classic metal than progressive, yet I still really appreciate your tone, music and content. You’ve got me seriously considering involving a PC in my signal chain.
Bro I have been binging your channel like Stranger Things, you have the best DSP content, not to mention you're an absolute monster guitar player. Already learned so much from your videos.
Just bought the petrucci plugin for black Friday sales. I overlooked this plugin. Now after watching this, you've sold it to me. Great tones, and playing
This plugin is amazing, but the only thing I think they could do to make it even better is if they gave you the ability to send the midi information to another synth plugin like serum or omnisphere because the synth in the plugin as it is, is very limited in what it can do. It's a very good tool for writing and inspiration though, and it works best in my opinion when it is layered with the guitar like an octaver or doubler.
I basically got this plugin for the fuzz and synth tones. The fuzz and octave pedals are worth the price of admission alone. Clean tones are great, the high gain tones are good but not mind blowing.
Nice vid Keyan. Yes, I totally agree that it would be ultra-cool if they updated all of their plugins like this. huh? lol This one tracks legit fast though man. love it-
I got the Soldano plugin and I absolutely love it! I am playing with a baritone Ibanez and the tone is amazing! I need to look at the others to see which one I want to get next. I really like the Plini but I don't want to just buy whatever.
Hey Keyan... don't do much live gigging at this point in my journey but have you done a vid on how using plugins like this when taking your music out of the studio might be a challenge? Computers can be 5 fingered so easily... are not stable in a live setting... or just trying to re-produce what you hear in a recording using a plugin like this seems unrealistic. I have one amp... Mini Rectifier and no way I am getting these sounds out it live.
How do u get rid of the hum? When I'm not playing anythang it's just alotta of noise. I gotta blast the gate to stop it. Clean stuff it's not there. But the distortion Amps it's very loud
There are comparison videos between the Gojira pedal and Petrucci transposer. I believe the Rabea transposer is basically the same as the Petrucci one, so those videos should answer your question.
I've sat on a computer my whole adult life with a guitar in my lap, but always played through standard amps. Do you just plug your guitar into a USB port and it comes out the PC's speakers? Id have to get some nice speakers if so...
hey man ! i may ask a stupid question, currently i have a 6 string guitar and i wanna buy a guitar with more/lower strings, should i buy a seven string guitar and low the tuning if i wanna go lower or just buy a 8 string ?
very unpopular opinion, but i hate the visuals. neural amps have always been cool and flashy looking, but now they're just gaudy and tacky. archetype petrucci looks like a parody, and this just looks so overdone.
Tbh as dumb as it sounds the visuals are the reason I went with a different plugin. If the amps and pedals looked more generic I think I would’ve went with this one

We need the Archetype: Keyan next
it was just be archetype plini, so unoriginal
@@TheTeaTVI seems unnecessarily harsh haha
Take my money ,this thing is amazing
The synth is so inspiring honestly
That tone at 7:38 is just... wow! Instant chills!
sounds like the superbowl
Okay you were right!😢
I love the fact you can throw the fuzz and octaver on as a combo effect. For me that makes a nasty tone that is sooooo sick!

This plugin can do so much more! I think its useful for anyone wanting to go experimental with a mix of metal or rock.
Watching from work!👍
First comment here! Can’t wait to finish the video! Lol update: loved the video! Might need to pick up the plugin! Great video as always Keyan
Great video man! Love your riffs as well
Best video I have seen on this plugin! Thanks Keyan!
This one is soooo sick. now please for the love of anything holy... Archetype: John Browne
I am excited to see what they do with Cortex desktop app with the plugin ports.
those cleans are crazy pretty
I was waiting for you to recreate "Alpha" when playing with the synth...
Cool stuff
This plugin absolutely interesting with the synth section.
also: saw a sleeps society badge on shirt. maybe a wss cover incoming? huh? :D

I have been dreaming to play some Depeche Mode but dont know how to play synths. I guess this plugin is the way to go❤️😀
Loved it.

It's wicked it's a big winner
I feel like this Archetype is just as versatile as Nolly's. I guess I'll buy it.
Groovy riffs bruh
repping the While She Sleeps hoodie!!!
Just for fun, you should try playing the “ITS ONLY SMILES” intro with the synth.
Good idea, I'll definitely try that myself hahaha
good video, thanks
Waiting archetype: Keyan
will this plugin and Plini x go well together or will having both of them will be redundant ?

It would be great if you can give us a breakdown of your gear while playing the plug-in. What is the setup?
5:53 nice fragment, what was that?
How do u get rid of the hum? When I'm not playing anythang it's just alotta of noise. I gotta blast the gate to stop it. Clean stuff it's not there. But the distortion Amps it's very loud
Great vid man, do you keep your evertune guitar in drop a and then just use the pitchshifter to take it lower?
man, you've hitted the among us meme thing when going thru the synth hahahahaha
genius!
edit: the plugin sounds neat too
If I want to downtune is the Rabea transpose better than the gojira downtune?

@@dogbiscuits752 thanks homie

Hi Keyan, what is your tuning?
can I use it with real cab and amp like a Matrix or something ? and is still good ?
Imagine them putting this software into a comprehensive multieffects pedal.
It does look really really really really good gurl. Bro someday I want to be like you because you are really really really cool.
Is it possible to use this in a live situation, I mean like a gig?
hey man ! i may ask a stupid question, currently i have a 6 string guitar and i wanna buy a guitar with more/lower strings, should i buy a seven string guitar and low the tuning if i wanna go lower or just buy a 8 string ?
hey dude, i think you should try a 7 string first, itll change your life lol
All these things I hate by bullet for my valentine. With that clean tone, it was tight.
No fucking way
8:00 "ooooonce moooore I sayy goobyeee toooo youu..." ?
Boost at 100? Interesting.
Is it just me or or are all of his pedals and effects named after anime?
I feel if I bought this I'd just noodle around making Sega mega drive sounds all day.
Oh boy I really wan't it but my wallet says no :(
The guys an Neural DSP have never asked me to check their stuff out. Weird.
I can't believe you didn't try the doubler! It's fucking massive!
Needed a Tri Chorus. :)
very unpopular opinion, but i hate the visuals. neural amps have always been cool and flashy looking, but now they're just gaudy and tacky. archetype petrucci looks like a parody, and this just looks so overdone.
Yeah I prefer the minimalist looks from before.
Definitely overdone but I love it, can see why it's not for everyone though.
I don't mind the visuals much as long as it doesn't affect usability
Rabea mentioned it was inspired by the Souls/Bloodborne games, which… respect
Tbh as dumb as it sounds the visuals are the reason I went with a different plugin. If the amps and pedals looked more generic I think I would’ve went with this one

Great sounds.... BUT not enjoyable to play . Horrible crackling and popping noises. Neural should Sort issues out before selling.
What Kind of audio Interface are u using?
