I love your work! Question for you. Can you spray paint over hardwear that has been cleaned and gold Dixie Belle Gilding Wax applied. I decided that I want my hardwear to be a blue green color? Do I need to clean them first? Would I use white lighting?

Gilding wax doesn't bond super well over hardware, having it as your base could effect the longevity of anything put over top
To add depth to my hardware, can I use black wax similar to how you used the black paint wash?

How are the redesign opalescent waxes used?
Those are more viable on darker colors, just an opalescent sheen on lighter colors
