I have to tell you how grateful I am for this particular video. I bought a French Provincial a few years ago and decided to paint it after watching Dixie bell. Well the piping on the drawers had two pieces missing, broke off. I used the puddy molding clay and resin to make a mold of the piping from the other exact draw. It came out PERFECT. I used tight bond and filled in the hole with Dixie mud then glued the piping on the drawer. It fit perfect and you can’t tell it was ever off. AMAZING! Another excellent teaching video. I had no idea how to fix it or what to do about the missing piping until this video. Thank you please keep sharing about repairs, wood, and the Dixie belle products how to use them.

Great information! Thank you. I have a few pieces with damaged or missing guides. I have not searched or tried to fix them yet. What is the problem with buying pieces with damaged or missing drawer guides? Thanks!

They are expensive to replace, can be a challenge to size right and match to the piece, just account for that in the price paid when you pick up

What about repairing loose joints? I have a small pedestal table where the 3 little legs are loose. I also have an antique table with side pockets where everything is loose. What glue should I use and do you have any other tips/videos that address this? Thanks. Love your channel ❣️

What is all one has is an orbital sander? Would a person hand sand where you are using that cute little sander?

Can you tell me what brand is your sander? Or where you got it from is nice. 😁

    Using mold is too complicated.
I use a wood stick from craft store to replicate simple mold.

When I first started refurbishing furniture I literally used toothpaste one time as a filler!! Of course it was a piece I kept but still laugh about it!!
