Sigmar bowed. ‘I would not dream of summoning you. I invited, you responded. It is so good to see you again.’ A small smile curved Alarielle’s lips. ‘So the mighty Sigmar has learned humility. I had thought to find you more arrogant than ever. Your armies march across all the Mortal Realms. To unleash war on the four lords of Chaos alone is not the act of a humble man. Your rashness almost ended me, you realise.’ ‘For that, my lady, you have my eternal apologies.’ She walked past him, trailing the smell of growth and new life, and looked out over the Highheim’s deserted ways. ‘No matter. Your actions, though impetuous, led to my rebirth and reinvigoration. You reawakened me. I spent too long brooding on defeat. If you had not caused my death, I would have been destroyed.’ She swept her gaze across the empty city. ‘So much beauty here, but it is sterile, bereft of life and purpose. It saddens me,’ she said. She looked at him. ‘I believed in your vision once, but it failed. If you have come to ask me to rejoin you here, to reform the pantheon of old, I will not.’ ‘I did not ask you here to reform our old order,’ he said. ‘Perhaps one day, but not now.’ ‘Perhaps then I will be interested, when a new season comes upon me,’ she shrugged. ‘Perhaps not.’ She sighed, the air she exhaled dancing with colourful insects. ‘If you ask for alliance, you already have it. My warriors fight alongside yours. Any reluctance the wargroves felt toward your warriors of lightning is fading. War is joined on all fronts.’
I feel like that little smile of hers was a bit of admiration despite herself. Here’s a man, a _mortal_ man, who through sheer determination and pure will, became a god and is doing his dead-level best to hold the universe together with his bare hands.
My favorite part in “Pantheon” with him trying to make her change from her War Aspect to a more hopeful form. “‘You are immortal,’ said Alarielle. ‘They will find your sympathy false.’ ‘I did not seek to be so,’ said Sigmar. ‘I would have happily lived and died a mortal king. Some higher power had other plans for me.’ He looked at her earnestly. ‘Many chose Chaos because they had no other choice. They can be redeemed, even those whose hearts may seem black. But there are always those that seek to cheat death, and the lords of Chaos offer a way to do so, and are cunning enough to allow a few to ascend to become their immortal slaves. That is how they gained access to the realms in the first place. We became too distant from our charges, and they grew afraid. Chaos offered them immortality, of a sort. They did not know it was a trap.’ ‘Then what do you want of me?’ said Alarielle. ‘You have held yourself aloof for many ages, my lady,’ he said. ‘It would aid us all in defeating the four powers for good if you went again among the mortals. Teach them your wisdom. You of all the gods understand the ebb and flow of mortality best, and that death is but a turning of the way.’ ‘I do not know what becomes of the souls of men,’ she said. ‘Does even Nagash? You ask me to lie to them.’ ‘Not at all,’ he said. ‘I wish you to invest in them a love of all that is natural and alive, to appreciate its power and fecundity. If they learn to follow the rhythm of life’s wondrous patterns, fewer of them will be tempted to fear its end. There always will be those who are incapable of fellow feeling, or whose greed outmatches their empathy,’ he said. ‘Many others can be saved by you.’ ‘I cannot do this,’ she said. ‘What is the point? Chaos rules already.’ ‘Cannot, or will not?’ said Sigmar. ‘You were worshipped all throughout Ghyran and beyond once, my lady. You can be again. You have become warlike to respond to a time of war, but you must reach inside yourself, and find that gentler creature you once were. We need to look beyond the end of this war, and prepare for peace. If we do not, then there will be another golden age, but soon enough Chaos will return and shatter the realms anew.’ “
I love this on multiple levels. It shows how terrifying powerful she is in AoS but also highlights how much character growth Sigmar has had, unlike another gold obsessed human god.
She also literally grew one of the Free Cities from scratch after the first AOS Summer Campaign the Seeds of Hope. The city she created. The Living City is the most Pro-Sylvaneth city in the setting
Yeah, little sad he forgot to mention that but at least the Greywater peace was a good secondary. Also during the Age of Myth she parleyed with Nagash(as they were on the same pantheon) and gifted him the Ghyran lands of Decrepita as a truce.(they were already lands of eternal fall & withered cold glades so the undead barely felt out of place)
Are we sure GW didn't secretly hire Miyazaki for a lot of the "big female Elf/Eldar hero" designs? I'm starting to see a bit of a pattern here regarding footwear (Alarielle, Lelith, Yvraine...)
somehow morathi doesn't follow this trend despite the fact that if anyone should have feet revealed it should be her or would she lock those pics behind a paywall on her onlyfans?
She also met Gotrek and Grombrindal in Age of Sigmar in the second Realmslayer audiobook. They were there to destroy a Nurgle invasion led by one of the new Nurgle Knightly orders. The Knight was there to try and convince Alarielle to marry Nurgle; he even had a romantic poem iirc.
You know what? That's pretty in-character for Nurgle and almost sweet in a disgusting way. He IS the corrupted side of life, after all - the eternal cycle of death and decay which gives rise to new life, only to then suffer and rot. The only difference is that Nurgle's idea of life is nihilistic failure and decay, while Isha and Alarielle revel in its boundless possibility .
The thumb nail for this vid makes me think of this little exchange between the two. Alarielle: "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize we were starting. Here, Allow me..." Alarielle then tears the guys arm off.
As funny as the meme with the Sword of Khaine and Allarielle is, if there is any Warhammer character who could be trusted to wield it without losing their sanity it would be the Everqueen.
@@DoosieCartes Settra's Ego is probably too big to fall to the sword's curse, so I guess you are right Also I'll add Thanquol (or any Sklaven tbf) to the list. I doubt they can get much more evil/crazy than they already are.
@@CacneaMainGrimgor is in the same vein as well. He already acts like he's been possessed by the god of war and muder so the only thing that really changes is his strength. Imagining Grimgor with the sword just beating the shit out of Malekith or Archaon puts a smile on my face.
@@Distophic Let's be honest, Grimgor doesn't need the SoC to do that. If anything it would be pretty in Character for Grimgor to whack Archaon in the head with it once and then just kinda throw it to the side or something xD
@@DoosieCartes Settra won't even bother wielding it though. But he'll probably try to forge something of similar level for himself just because he's Settra. Nagash? Well, maybe. But in my eyes he's the type to let others wield that sword just so they can keep murdering more people.
13:03 Alarielle herself is of Blood of Aenarion, though - all Everqueens since Yvraine (daughter of Astarielle, not the 40k one) were his descendants. Even if she herself was unaffected, she would pass the Curse to her daughter no matter who she would have her with.
If I remember correctly, in AoS she told gotrek where his axe woulf be, or atleast what gotrek needs after they defeated a nurgle army she had frozen with a super winter
Ya know, Drycha non-withstanding on the force of good thing. She has a certain Gaia slant of being mother nature for AoS. To the uninitiated the Earth mother in Greek mythology did give birth to many monsters and disasters alongside the good stuff.
Alarielle already has the curse of Anerion as she is descended from the him and his first wife who was the first Everqueen, the same as Tyrion is. It’s been several generations and a few thousand years so the cousins are several times removed.
OMG that figure! Super beautiful and if I got her I would be too paranoid cuz something will break or come off of her so I would just paint her then put her in a display case and never let her out
When the queen that should be protected at all cost gets a model, but the warrior king does not, because thirty years ago, the designers of the high elves decided that Phoenix King was too high to be represented, and never changed their mind XD

One character I wish you could would a video on is Finubar the seafarer, the actual Phoenix King. Out of all the characters in Warhammer done dirty by GW I honestly think he was done more dirty than anyone despite being a cool guy. Most people who who play Total War: Warhammer doesn't even know who the Phoenix King is with most believing it is Tyrion who is the Phoenix King. Finubar honestly deserved so much better.
Just saying Alarielle Malekith would been the greatest power couple. Also malekith just minding his own business in Aos beat chaos and just chilling. Finally becoming the phoenix king mellowed him out a bit.

I think before the end times Alhambra was supposed to be the king's daughter, Alarm some hooked up with Tycoon later. Then again, some sources put the king's coronation very close to Alarielle's birth, so maybe he decided that he wasn't doing that fertility ritual with his baby girl.
Think if we get all the incredibly nice beings in the factions to meet the combined goodness will make all the factions collectively come together to kick the shit out of chaos and destruction?
I mean...every single time the forces of Chaos win it's typically because the forces of Order are either being idiots, getting distracted by other crap, or they simple get out plot-armored by Chaos shenanigans. So yes...we've seen what the Ordertide can do in Total War Warhammer...they'd absolutely kick the crap outta Chaos.
I feel like their population issue could be solved by making some Elf Favelas. Put Alith Anar in charge of it. Tell him more High Elfs more Dark Elf kill.
I think you could have dunked on Mannfred more: He kidnapped the wrong elf. If I'm recalling the lore correctly, he wanted the Everqueen and kidnapped the Everchosen instead not knowing the difference.
How Alarielle deals with instant death effects on the tabletop: she can resurrect herself. If she dies, she can only target herself with her 4+ resurrection ability until such time as she is successfully resurrected.

If they learn to follow the rhythm of life’s wondrous patterns, fewer of them will be tempted to fear its end. There always will be those who are incapable of fellow feeling, or whose greed outmatches their empathy,’ he said. ‘Many others can be saved by you.’
‘I cannot do this,’ she said. ‘What is the point? Chaos rules already.’
‘Cannot, or will not?’ said Sigmar.
Pretty nice.
Shows them as level headed people who have been through a lot but still have strong judgment
I'm still bitter that GW made fantasy space marines
" I love elven kids, Ghorst. I LOVE KIIIIIDS. " ' Mannfred, I don't think I'd be yelling that around here. '
The thumbnail got me.
And by the looks of things, Archaon got Allarielle.
Nailed it 👌
Does anyone have a link to the art? I have some...reading to catch up on.
🤣
To quote the advisor, “You’re so boring there’s not even any Rule 34 of you.”
Thankfully, that is very wrong
Objectively false, trust me, I'd know
@DogseatDogs Well "hot" is a bit subjective with that one
and to quote myself, there's no need in that, since Empress of Light has one already
There's a pic of her as Morathi's plaything that is very, very heretical.
Ehh, Alarielle makes some sense, Jade Wizards in general go around barefoot, even the men.
somehow morathi doesn't follow this trend despite the fact that if anyone should have feet revealed it should be her
or would she lock those pics behind a paywall on her onlyfans?
She also met Gotrek and Grombrindal in Age of Sigmar in the second Realmslayer audiobook. They were there to destroy a Nurgle invasion led by one of the new Nurgle Knightly orders. The Knight was there to try and convince Alarielle to marry Nurgle; he even had a romantic poem iirc.
You conjured a horrendous mental image.
There is nothing more fearsome in this world than a disgruntled mother with a slipper. The same is no doubt true in warhammer fantasy.
The thumb nail for this vid makes me think of this little exchange between the two.
Alarielle: "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize we were starting. Here, Allow me..."
Alarielle then tears the guys arm off.
"Our favorite magical twink Teclis" -- in the most deadpan narrative I've ever heard.
Sigmar bless you, keep you, and protect you and this channel.
As funny as the meme with the Sword of Khaine and Allarielle is, if there is any Warhammer character who could be trusted to wield it without losing their sanity it would be the Everqueen.
Arguably also Settra and Nagash
@@DoosieCartes Settra's Ego is probably too big to fall to the sword's curse, so I guess you are right
Also I'll add Thanquol (or any Sklaven tbf) to the list.
But in my eyes he's the type to let others wield that sword just so they can keep murdering more people.
never in my wildest dreams did i ever think we'd see shinzo abe posting from pancreas and i love it
13:03 Alarielle herself is of Blood of Aenarion, though - all Everqueens since Yvraine (daughter of Astarielle, not the 40k one) were his descendants. Even if she herself was unaffected, she would pass the Curse to her daughter no matter who she would have her with.
And here i thought your gonna simp of her ,but to my surprise you simped of Teclis.
To which i can respect.
In TWW I always play Alarielle and march across the world showing all people my peaceful ways BY FORCE.
the true way of peace
dont forget sword of khaine
-insert tape- WHAT!?
Alternative title:
Alarielle - Slay, Everqueen
If I remember correctly, in AoS she told gotrek where his axe woulf be, or atleast what gotrek needs after they defeated a nurgle army she had frozen with a super winter
I don't want to be that guy but that's Neferata @0:10
I noticed too
Yeah I was confused too...
All of Pancreas Morathi pic would cause the video to be demonetized so he had to improvise.
@@nightfallguild Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
I thought the same thing 😂 don't remember Morathi with fangs or fighting alongside ghouls.
There are three certainties in life, Death, Taxes, and this elf lady getting the sword of khaine
Felix: “I can take her.”
Ulrika: “In a fight right?”
Gotrek: *ah shit, here we go again -_-*
She's called "Ever Queen".
Yeah, we switch them out once in a while...
When are we getting a video on everyone's favourite up failing Grey Seer? Thanquol
Fail-fail it until you make-succeed it, yes-yes.
"I give life but *hey* I also take it away from the unclean!" -Goddess Alarielle
Ya know, Drycha non-withstanding on the force of good thing. She has a certain Gaia slant of being mother nature for AoS. To the uninitiated the Earth mother in Greek mythology did give birth to many monsters and disasters alongside the good stuff.
I like Allarielle's AoS model, but I can't forget how she looks like a Queen of Drums from Rio's carnival.
Alarielle already has the curse of Anerion as she is descended from the him and his first wife who was the first Everqueen, the same as Tyrion is. It’s been several generations and a few thousand years so the cousins are several times removed.
OMG that figure! Super beautiful and if I got her I would be too paranoid cuz something will break or come off of her so I would just paint her then put her in a display case and never let her out
Nurgle much?
I can relate though, that model is gorgeous. Great beetle, too.
In the jar she goes.
@@FriendlyArchpriest lmao Another for the collection
When the queen that should be protected at all cost gets a model, but the warrior king does not, because thirty years ago, the designers of the high elves decided that Phoenix King was too high to be represented, and never changed their mind XD
The image of Nagash Sigmar and Alarielle together makes it a thumbnail for a AOS comedy sitcom that won’t exist.
"Old souls she found in a dumpster somewhere..."
As long as she didn't get that particular bib-wearing one from the dumpster at the back of Golden Corral...
A RWBY reference in a PancreasNoWork video? My cup runeth over!
Second one iirc
What's the reference?
If Alarielle mood influences the weather, there is a winter every 28 days in Ulthuan
Winter? or raging thunderstorm?
24:26 I like my elves jacked and able to weaponize their ears (optional)
6:29 my man is glazing teclis every chance he get
Wild to see a RWBY reference on a Pancreas video
pretty sure if I squint hard enough, I'm convinced there's nothing under that thin cotton dress but skin.
???
@@leodiusd4858probably was watching a Short during the video and commented on it. There is a glitch that will send your comment from the Short to the actual video you are watching.
describing baby Alarielle as "a little chibi elf" caused a system interrupt in my frontal lobe
I’m surprised Pancreasnowork didn’t include a lot of the more saucy fanart of Alarielle
"Hatred burned in his heart. It was not a new hatred. It had been there for a very long time. The druchii merely provided it with a focus. They were, after all, elves. They looked like the people who had sneered at him and tormented him all his life. They looked like every enemy he had ever had. Every female elf who had ever rejected him." - Active caster teclis
This dude is ur fav elf?
Yes. Because he's not a dark elf.
"Active Caster"
Lmao
Had to go and check description. Haven't heard Wolfstack Docks in a while.
“She is beauty, she is grace, she’s gonna stab you in the fucking face.” 😂
I need the next Gotrek novel to have scene where he goes and try’s too make a deal with Alarielle to find Felix’s soul. Gotrek needs his remembrancer back.
2:55 you say that, but my copy of the Necronomicon disagrees with you
One character I wish you could would a video on is Finubar the seafarer, the actual Phoenix King.
Alarielle - the character who we want as far away from the Sword of Khaine as possible
Smash, next question
Every time I play an Ordertide woman LL, I *always* try to build a Girlboss Alliance. Slay Queens, SLAAAAAY!
Thumbnail is accurate with Alarielle's whole "this isn't even my final form" death & resurrection thing
Just saying Alarielle Malekith would been the greatest power couple. Also malekith just minding his own business in Aos beat chaos and just chilling. Finally becoming the phoenix king mellowed him out a bit.
"Instead of an Everchosen, you would have a queen, not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Tempestuous as the sea, and stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me and despair!"
Alarielle the Everqueen
The video once again reminders. I hate the End Times so much. That grudge is never getting erased.
So I started a Warhammer Fantasy High Elf army a few years ago (after AOS started and was going strong and before The Old World was released). About a year or two ago I got the old high elf army of the manager of my FLGS. It included an old Alarielle model which as you can guess made me very happy. Apparently she was the most broken character in 8th edition but I wouldn’t know because I never got to play Fantasy (thank you GW for that, I’m SOOOOO happy you killed off your og setting……)
He’ll do every god/species before he does a dwarf that isn’t Gotrix
Snori my beloved?
Belegar my beloved
*coughs in thorgrim*
Having played Age of Mythology for the first time since Retold just came out (I've always been wanting to give it a try and one of my friends is a massive fan so there was really no better time), I know realize where your music comes from. And my god, does it slap
As a newer fan to the warhammer universe, i love these videos. Ive been hopelessly addicted to any lore i can get my hands on 😂 i just found your channel and hooked 😂
0:36 Is that...wait... Sunless Seas OST!
had bought the Alarielle skin for Kerilian on VT2 a week ago. Now this video was released. Today is a blessing for elf fans
*the sword of khain has been claimed*
A Frieza and Nail reference pic?
Perfect
Someone I need to play more of in TW. Honestly High Elves as a whole. Then we can bring peace to the world, by force
"Enough to get me called woke on twitter" is a really low bar. I'm certain just calling it twitter is enough.
Thanks alot for the Ending. Wasn expecting that but I appriciate it alot!
Her and tyrion have the worst cases of domestic abuse in warhammer 3
Warhammer fantasy really does have unique takes on the fantasy races, and the elves I feel are their best work, fantasy elves at least don't falter as much as 40k elves, which I feel need to seem less like a joke and actually be able to do something, like, if they succeeded in their ritual to wake Ynnead, I would have loved to see the Eldar actually get wins like that for once
Skaven put a good spin on Fantasy tropes too tho
Which is why I hated it when lazy GW writers started dragging 40k stuff into WFB, like Orc spores or Slaanesh eating elf souls, ruins the lore.
paused my rewatch of the Born This Way music video for this
Go back to that it’s better than this
@@pancreasnowork9939don’t listen to him, he just hates the sound of his own voice.
@@clydemarshall8095Damn, what an idiot.
That voice is dulcet and smooth. Perfect for listening to something to learn about and get mentally slapped in the face by his jokes
Allarielle the radiant? More like alarielle the psychopath! Every time I play she ends up wiping out the sword of khaine and going on a rampage.
I wish the Eldar had lore like this so much
I think before the end times Alhambra was supposed to be the king's daughter, Alarm some hooked up with Tycoon later. Then again, some sources put the king's coronation very close to Alarielle's birth, so maybe he decided that he wasn't doing that fertility ritual with his baby girl.
That title, plus the thumbnail, has officially sent me.
"Magical Twink" is the best description for Teclis I've ever heard of.
Think if we get all the incredibly nice beings in the factions to meet the combined goodness will make all the factions collectively come together to kick the shit out of chaos and destruction?
Who are you thinking? Naestra is obvious and maybe Franz. Who else?
I mean...every single time the forces of Chaos win it's typically because the forces of Order are either being idiots, getting distracted by other crap, or they simple get out plot-armored by Chaos shenanigans.
So yes...we've seen what the Ordertide can do in Total War Warhammer...they'd absolutely kick the crap outta Chaos.
Ah yes my favorite elf who emulates Nuclear Gandhi. Except the nukes are a sword.
"Starts turning elves into trees' of yeah the elven gods are definitely inspired by the greek ones XD
Thumbnail gives me Android 18 vs Vegeta vibe
WOW a RWBY reference, wasn't expecting that to happen
I feel like their population issue could be solved by making some Elf Favelas. Put Alith Anar in charge of it. Tell him more High Elfs more Dark Elf kill.
Allarielle the mommy, morathi might be the goth dommy mommy but allarieeles the mommy to end all mommys
Gross
Sigmar purge and gouge my eyes out for witnessing such profane writings
Would.
Morathi is both dommy and mommy, but the "mommy" part is *uncomfortably weighted*
I think you could have dunked on Mannfred more: He kidnapped the wrong elf. If I'm recalling the lore correctly, he wanted the Everqueen and kidnapped the Everchosen instead not knowing the difference.
Ah yes, alarielle the sword of Caine wielder… how her rage brings me nightmares…
She told the dragins to deal with kragnos cause they didnt finish him in the age of myth lol
The main thing I know about Alarielle is in AOS she almost talked Gotrek into fighting her and that is a fight I would have paid to see
Man, I'd love to see another chaos undivided video from you!
Alarielle's instakill protection is getting to revive herself when she dies
How Alarielle deals with instant death effects on the tabletop: she can resurrect herself. If she dies, she can only target herself with her 4+ resurrection ability until such time as she is successfully resurrected.
OHHHH this is that lady on twitter! She has good takes.
