Honey Cone straight through cat, and a muffler delete gives a great deep tone growl.. obviously Sub Ranch wants a whisper quiet ride with that Ohio Class submarine muffler install.
@MadAtMax.300Blackout We didn’t actually cut anything. It should come apart at the y pipe and catalytic converter. We did replace the y pipe. You can see us removing it in our transmission removal video. The short story is that you can replace any section you want, just look at the walker website and buy the pieces that you want to replace.
Thank you very much now I know i can use the cats i saw on Amazon for my truck, I've gotta replace most of the exhaust system in mine, muffler and the pipe from the muffler to the cats was rotted right out, and there was zero tail pipe when I got the truck lol
Dude you just made this look easy lol did you custom order the curved pipes? And about how much did you spend? And if you said so in vid my sound isn’t currently working. My badd
@mason chadwick Check the Walker Exhaust website. You should be able to find pipes already bent for your truck. The pipes themselves are pretty cheap, around $30 each.
I have a 2500 it’s needs a whole new exhaust system it’s screwed I’m trying to do it right but for a decent price I’m just not into the idea of invest $1000-$1500 in a 26 year old truck so any ideas?
@donzinater gaming We used the walker website to confirm the correct part numbers and then ordered from a combination of Rockauto and Advance Auto Parts. Here is the website: www.walkerexhaust.com/find-my-part.html

Following your journey. I picked up a 93 K1500 farm truck for my project. It's a blast to work on, reminds me of my younger days.

Ha yeah we were going for a factory style.
No rust and a lift? Not fair!
Thanks for the demo, I'm ordering a y pipe for my 91 seirra worried about the manifold bolts!
@J P Haha good luck!
Awsome job man! Got my sub, i need to replace the back half of mine cause previous owner replaced only the front off the manifold on my 88 GMC
Here in Oklahoma, we just cut those CAT converters off and call it "weight reduction". Problem solved! LOL
I may have to do this on a 93 sierra. Thank you for this. Was told I'd have to weld to replace what you just did.
No welding needed!
@@SuburbanRanch awesome thank you. How do I know where to cut? Just at the old welds?

Simple enough! You made the install look soo stress-free 👌🏽

I’m working on mine, hope I can get it done this weekend, hard to find the parts on older trucks.
Definitely getting harder to find parts
@J Bone put in the details of your truck in and it will tell you all of the part numbers you need. www.walkerexhaust.com/find-my-part.html

@@SuburbanRanch thanks!
What's the part number for the y-pipe that was used for the truck. I'm re-doing the exhaust on my K1500
Check the walker website to make sure you get the right one for your truck

The walker system is under $1000
Hello, this is a exhaust kit? Do you have a part number of this kit? Tanks
You’ll have to check the walker website for the part numbers that fit your application, there are lots of different configurations.
Where did you get those hangers with the double clamps?
www.walkerexhaust.com
Part number 35287 I believe
Thank you!
How tall is your garage ceiling? What kind of lift do you have?
@Ben Mason 11 foot ceilings and a rotary revolution lift
No start up?!?!
@Bullish Brian207 sorry we were working on some other things on the truck and we didn’t want to tighten everything up just yet.
Can a mechanic cause engine damage when replacing an exhaust?
@Jeremy I wouldn’t think so
where did you purchase the pipes and the cat
@Bictor Briseno We purchased everything through Advance Auto
Can u post the parts u used and where u got them

Manifold bolts broke what do I do??????
Weld a nut to them and work them out slowly. One of mine broke too. I had to get that mobile welder to come to my house.
Can you link the parts?
@Kris Koslop It’s probably better if you just go to rockauto and look up your exact truck
What was the part number
