Magura HS Rim Bicycle Brake Bleeding Procedure - How-to - Retfurb Vintage Refurb

In this video we show the process we carry out, When bleeding Magura rim type brakes. This is shown on a set of HS11 rim brakes, But it is a similar process on the other Magura hydraulic rim brakes. Including HS-33, Raceline, HS-22, ETC.
This tool used is the EZmtb kit, Purchased from Amazon. It is perfect for retro bicycle brake bleeding, Including the Magura HS brakes.
I can 100% recommend this brake bleed tool, As it makes life so much easier when do a variety of different manufacturer brakes.

I bleed them from the calliper when on the bike so any air bubbles go up and out the highest point at the lever. Shimano brakes are easier because there's bleed nipple on the calliper

@@jeremynorth yes, you can also do it this way. Either way round works for me.
Like you say, on the bike air will rise better bottom up.

Unfortunately, These were just used for the brake bleed video. I had a couple people asking me to show how I bleed them.
I also have a couple different Hope brakes to rebuild, Which will also be on the channel.
