"There are billions of people back home who don't know what we're doing... but they will know exactly what we've done" this word made me terrifying at war
Oppulen said he is terrified of war , and you ask him . Did you ever been into a war ? What a moronic question , you should replace your brain with new one . What an idiot
Jackal 2-5 is an incredibly underrated part of this campaign. Dude hits an AA gun with CAS, dumps his full payload, and when being told it wasn't enough and the gun needs to go down, without explicitly being told realises his only option and moves to make a mass strike on it. That takes incredible balls.
It also shows how much Reyes has developed as a commander. At first, he thought being a commander is to keep everyone alive. But by the final mission, he now realized it was never about that. It’s about winning the war no matter what. That is why when Jackal 2-5 had ran out of rockets to take out the gun-site, Reyes firmly tells him to do anything else to take it down even if he had to take his own life, which Jackal 2-5 does it without hesitation. As long as Reyes help them win the war, the death of his men will not be in vain.
I think this game just came out at a bad time is all. People got really tired of the whole sci if/exo suits at the time and wanted something else like ww2. I got this game along with the remastered of mw and I really enjoyed this game a lot.
Being on your own ship and taking on the enemy is various locations and using the jet was something different from the usual. Hopefully we get another part to it later. Still sad that Reyes passed away. Didn't understand as to why he didn't use the grappling hook or boosters (can't clearly recall the ending scene) to save himself. Then again. You never know with endings these days.
Fun fact: lewis Hamilton and connor McGregor voiced characters in this game 23:32 you can see carl Hamilton get killed on the left Hence why his name is on the memorial at the end
True but the whole point of this story was that it was influenced by WW2. Yeah Jon Snow was bad, but the SDF was meant to be the main antagonist of the story.

This campaign was very well done, my only complaint is that it was criminally short. You could tell that they originally wanted it to be a fair bit bigger but it got cut way down.
I think the only thing that made this name get as much hate as it did is the name Call of Duty. I enjoyed this game a whooooole lot! Especially the campaign. The script and voiceacting was next level. It doesnt get as much credit.
yeah the script was great "i take that as a yes" "take that as a hell yes" "we either defeat the SDF or you'll be demoted and be taking orders from me" xD
The plot was pretty lax, especially in this counterattack. The Mons could have guarded the Earth during fleet reconstruction, rather than rushing the SDF HQ. They lose both ships, the crew takes casualties, and even more would die trying to find a way back to Earth. Oh! And for a game titled Infinite Warfare, the whole campaign's story happens in a single-in-game day.
Just all we remember: Chief MacCallum once was promoted to Commander but chose to resign and re-sign as a lowly crew chief. She cannot stomach the loss her crew will if she held the helm.
She actually is a commander she was a captain resigned her commission and then decided to become an engineer so she got demoted back to Commander she couldn't take control of the ship because she was not a line officer that's why Reyes became captain of the ship
And by the way as the chief engineer Mac's third in command of the Retribution anyways. She would assume command if there was no other high-ranking line officer so basically if Salter and Reyes were both dead.
I Kinda love the fact that you're playing a CoD game with an advanced movement system but still you're able to play a normal ground based FPS game without difficulty.
