"I can't work out because I can't afford the gym/too far away/no equipment!" The level of delusional excuses I've heard from people is shattered when you ask them if they have access to the ground or a floor.
If anything, a gym is a detriment. It takes so much work just to get to one. Doing calisthenics is so much better. Just get to a floor, a stair, a park, and do the basics. It's such low effort you can squeeze in a workout every single day which will be much more effective than going twice one week, then getting lazy and once next week.

Doing all this while staying in position is hard AF. Respect. You probably got a pump all over your body, the core pump alone the abs, and then theres the wrists, killer pain.
This is the best push up feat I've seen on UA-cam. 500 successive pushups without going to knees once and maintaining form. Full pushup, full extension, full downward movement to the brick. Constant pace throughout of about 23 pushups per minute. He didn't speed through, say 30, then rest on his hands for forty seconds. Constant pace. There were intermittent brief pauses of several seconds, so his average rate of doing one pushup was around one second. That is much more fatiguing that pressing out pushups at the rate of, say two a second, then resting. What amazed me was the fatigue and pain he was in on number 300. And then he did 200 more. Risk of injury is very high with this effort. I wonder if he had shoulder pain for a period of a month to six weeks after this. One way to continue despite fatigued triceps/shoulders is to shift the angle of the hands and of the elbows to stress less fatigued angles. But he never does this. His angles are constant throughout. That is very difficult but helps to prevent injury from flaring elbows to perpendicular to body, which will injure the shoulder.
