For me it was great to see such a nice video in English. I live in Russia, and teach English here, so I wase amazed by your comments. Thank you very much!
This looks amazing! I’m trying this today! Thanks for the recipe. Also, I have no idea how you cook with all the flour and still keep your clothes so clean! Glad I found your channel.
Beautiful presentation. I miss my youth living amongst a large populations of Armenians and eating foods in Their Family Style restaurants and bakeries. By chance, I found a store that had some packaged Lavash (doesn't look like the kind I know as it looks more like flatbread to me) but found your video. Now retired, I love to make new things and I will certainly try yours. Thank you so much for the walk back in my memory. You are lovely and your child is also darling!
Watching this late at night... Not a good idea! Now i want lavash and picnic panir! Thank u so much for your time and energy. I love and enjoy watching your videos after a long day!
+heghineh this lavash bread looks amazingly delicious 😀 thanks for sharing by the way I'm armenian lebanese I'm planning to visit armenia very soon my brother just came back from yerevan he really loved it :) nice to meet u.
The Lavash recipes I've been watching are in languages I simply don't understand! Thanks a ton for this detailed one in English. You've kept it simple and made everything look so easy. Loved the video....
i just love ur recipes. today i made this lavash bread .bt lil bit crispy.y s dat? i kept the dough for 3 hours. what's the reason . pls let me know. thankxx
hi im gonna make lavash tomrw night, i just want to ask why you sprayed water to the freshly baked bread? how to keep the bread soft and not crispy? thank you
Hello! I've been looking for a gluten free lavash recipe. Got one? :) I miss eating lavash so much since going gluten free! kakhtsr tey yev baneer is not the same without lavash....please help! :(
Hi there, I know what you're saying, I can't live without bread myself:) I did a few tests for gluten free breads and didn't like any of them, I'll see if I can come up with something , haven't tried to make lavash as gluten free, I'm sure I'll be able to figure out something , need some time for my tests,if you are subbed to my channel you'll get an email as soon as I upload it:)
;ll be glad to see the gluten free Lawash recipe too,.. for my daughter! I know it will be very difficult as the gluten free fluor is just a difficult thing to make anything!
You need to look into Einkorn flour which is very weak in gluten. America’s wheat has been contaminated by Monsanto. Einkorn wheat is the original wheat God has put on this earth and its weak in gluten and higher in protein and nutrients. Look up: Jovial Foods Einkorn Flour
Awesome! Now I know from where you get lahvash sitting in the USA ! By the way, I saw your naan recipe yesterday. It is also made in clay ovens traditionally. The clay ovens are just like the lahvash ovens but they are above the ground. There is a bread called rumali roti which is very close Indian cousin of lahvash. Rumal means handkerchief. We call it rumali roti coz its thin and can be folded like a handkerchief.
+heghineh I tell u, I workout, in my feet all day long, I eat Paleo, gluten free because my stomach can't handle the gluten but as soon as I eat any sugary sweets, my weight goes up lol, you are very fortunate that I can keep your figure and eat anything u want
Barev! Raised on this bread is something an Armenian girl never forgets 🙏🏼. Thank you so much for your version of this bread! It’s the closest to my paternal grandmother’s 😍🙏🏼‼️ 🇦🇲
HOW MUCH WATER???? is it difficulty saying it while pouring in the water? No, the web site is broken, so no checking it there. instead of all the poetry and two thousand links, JUST HAVE THE AMOUNT PRINTED ON YORU VIDEO AS YOU USE THEM
Yeast is my enemy. Heghine jan, I don’t know if any one suggested how to make no yeast lavash. I suggest to use baking powder instead of the yeast. Also you don’t have to wait till it rises . It’s instant, neat the dough and make it right away.
Lavash, Taftoon, Barbari, Sangak, etc.. are all Iranian/Persian breads. Her recipe is one hundred percent (100%) Iranian/Persian recipe, not sure why she calls Lavash Armenian Bread!
You SHOULD try to relax; nothing but good seems to come from your presentations. In fact you rather nervously make lavash making SEEM too easy. It's a personal favourite--although the Iranian variety seems to predominate around here...& in Maryland---and your lessons are most welcomed because Armenian baked goods are delicious but rel. unknown....
@@Heghineh1 respectfully you may have washed it but from good hygiene practices it is not after you handle food then touch your hair then back to touching the food.
I was wondering that as well. She did not mention the amount of yeast, but it looked like a rounded teaspoon. Otherwise, the recipe has 2-1/2 cups white flour, 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1-1/2 teaspoons salt, perhaps 1-1/4 tsp IDY and enough water (?) to make the dough, probably one cup.

Enzo Ma but with these long loose hair do expect hair traces in bread !!!

Yes, you can do 3/4 x1/4 proportion
Wow, that looks amazing. It seems like a lot of work. You always do an amazing job, thank you.
Thank you :)
hi im gonna make lavash tomrw night, i just want to ask why you sprayed water to the freshly baked bread? how to keep the bread soft and not crispy? thank you
It's a very thin, dry bread, you'll need to spray with water to keep it soft and pliable,
thank you,i made it yesterday using your recipe, and it tasted amazing! a perfect bread for dips!
+Dante Pedro glad you like it ,
Thank you for getting back:)
have you tried it with indian atta flour

Not yet, but will do that soon!
i love lavash! my new fave bread! :))
hi there, how much water do i need?
It looks like she used one cup - that is typical for three cups of flour.
I would like to do but too complicated thxx

"White" whole wheat flour? I thought whole wheat flour is brown.
There is also white whole wheat flour, and it has been sifted more than regular whole wheat flour.

Delicious looking bread. I'd make quite a few holes in mine haha!
Thanks
For this bread holes are very common :)
+heghineh looks wonderful. My parents are Italian but I was born in Australia. Do you know any Italian bread recipes?
you should tie your hair back, your cooking not going to the mall.

Looks like an oval tortilla
After fixing your hair you should wash you hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
