I love how Seth and his crew get people on who might not be well known. But who are lovely guests like Kerry.
I love that “fecking” isn’t censored!
Yes! It wasn’t censored during Seth’s interview with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleason, either, during which it was in HEAVY use! CBS censored it during Colbert’s interview with them..!
Feck isn't a profanity
@@jenn288 Or piss.
@@sineadk2883 Exactly. Different etymologies, too. There are remnants of it in modern British English. See "feckless" in your favourite dictionary.
She is phenomenal in this movie. I truly wish she gets more and more amazing roles that she deserves
The Banshees of Inisherin was fantastic. The best film I've seen all year.
I love that thry didn't bleep out the "feckin'" in this interview 😅 haven't seen much of her before this film but she was an absolute revelation! So well deserving of recognition and awards!
She’s superb. Do see her work in H.B.O.’s “Rome”, as well as in “The Last Station”, co-starring James McAvoy, Christopher Plummer, and Helen Mirren.
For someone who’s been able to work with some of the biggest Irish names like Cillian Murphy,Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson along with being the voice of Iron Man’s suit F.R.I.D.A.Y as well as Morgan Freeman,Jet Li and Imelda Staunton, she’s incredibly underrated. Really glad she’s finally getting the recognition she really deserves. A fan of her since seeing her in Rome and Rat
‘And’ she’s beautiful.
@@hollowaysteve of coz she is and with a very sexy Irish accent
I watched Unleashed as a kid, it's one of my favourite nostalgia movies ever
this is your first time yes this is my first time
Thanks for reminding me where I saw her first!! ROOOOOMMMEEEE!!!! MY goodness!! I knew I've seen her and how embarrassing I could not tell from where!! I loved ROME so much!!
She's wonderful. I hope the success of the movie leads to great things for her.
Yes, hopefully she becomes successful enough to own her very own blimp. She can glide across the skies, waving benevolently at the people down below, and if she encounters an enemy she can say "wait right there, I'm going to come down and fist you, you twerp!".
That's the kind of thing you meant right?
She's already a big 🌟
what?
@@sellingacoerwa8318 what the heck are you confused by? Let's get Kerry in a blimp pronto
@@mairtohainle9773I watched her way back when she was young in the HBO series Rome. Even then you could tell that she would be terrific
she was truly a delight in this film
please go see it in the theater!
Yes banshees of Inisherin is a wonderful film
please welcome for the first time kerry condon everyone welcome this is your first time on our show
What's the name of that movie?
Her little laugh at 6:04...shes so lovely. I have been a fan of hers for YEARS.
I was exactly halfway through this interview when I suddenly realised that this lady played Mike’s daughter in Better Call Saul. Dropped my drink. Amazing!
Thanks for that. Was wondering what part she played.
Sorry to be pedantic but she played Mike’s Daughter in law. Bit of a difference. Also I never knew that was her.
Yeah I had no idea she wasn't American. Her American accent in BCS is perfect.
@@gainal9080 That's very cool to hear. I haven't actually got far into BCS yet but I'm right proud of Kerry.
I was watching the movie and it was driving me crazy cos i knew her face but couldn't place hit..had to google it and flipped out too lol
So utterly charming. Such a wonderful actor as well. Wonderful interview.
What a charming accent and lovely personality she has!
It's a very strong accent, it's great to see people holding onto there accents a lot of people are loosing there's.
I could listen to her talk all day.
Fabulous actress and so down to earth. Wish her well in the Academy Awards and we will certainly be seeing a lot more of her.
Kerry Condon is awesome. She looks like a 40s movie star and she sounds like pure Tipperary (which is where she's from). And yet this woman was Octavia in HBO's Rome, for anyone who remembers that show.
2:53 ~ Sethy trying to keep a straight face while baiting the jackals. 2:53 ~ Kerry's jackal chops. So great to watch your interviews Seth.
#TheCorrections Colin's Irish, Seth. He wouldn't get airs, he'd get *notions*
Ooh such delicious information
fierce notions
Excellent correction
Well he could get airs and graces! 👀
As an Irish person myself, it surprises me how much Kerry's natural accent (from north Tipperary) is close to the old Hollywood schtick on an Irish accent. I guess it really does exist! 🤷🏼♂️
As someone who's visited 4 or 5 times, and spoken at length with someone from the area, I've had the same thought
And she has horses. Well, of course she would!
I’ve thought the same about Italian accents when speaking English. There are people who really sound like that.
I would have to disagree, the Tipp accent is not like the fake 'Leprechaun' Hollywood accent...
@@LindaC616 Do you think we all own horses in Ireland?😬…….Oh sh1t. We do have horses.😮 I can see them from the kitchen window.
Really enjoyed seeing The Banshees Of Inisherin in the cinema last week. There were laughs from the audience at all the right points, and silence at the sad moments. The panoramic shots of the islands used for the movie looked amazing on the big screen. Ireland has never looked so beautiful. 💚
Wow I’m just starting to become aware of this movie and this actress and this was the most wonderful interview or whatever you wanna call I’ve ever seen absolutely creative over-the-top wonderful and what a endearing beautiful person she is and Seth really can draw out everything from a person without even without any effort….
I've had a bit of a crush on her from the show Rome. Wonderful actress. I gotta see this flick.
I first fell in love with her in “Rome.” Then saw her amazing guest performance on “The Walking Dead.”
She is a delight.
Beter Call Saul too!
I also saw her in Rome back in the day, her accent was so natural in that, that I wouldn't have guessed her true accent in a 100 years, it's magnificent!
Yeah poor Clara, with all the mayhem and grimness of the show her small part with Rick was one of the saddest most tragic moments of the whole series.
So glad Seth mentioned Intermission. It's a fantastic movie and Kerry & Colin have the best cold open scene of all time.
He's a lot nicer to her in this one than the previous one.
She was amazing in this film. What a talent.
Great interview - and LOVE her!
I'd seen the Banshees of Inisherin recently. I think she had made an incredible job in it as Siobhan.
In The Banshees of Insherin, Kerry Condon was amazing. She stole the show. She is so good...it's a great film.
I have no idea who she is, but she seems absolutely charming 😊
She will always be Octavia in Rome to me .
Yup. And she hasn’t aged a day ❤️
Yessss! She was fantastic as Octavia! And I didn't know she's Irish until now! She's so charming 🤩
YES!!!❤
I was literally about to come here and say this 😂
I wished she kept that accent when she voiced Friday! I soooo love her voice and natural accent.
If you haven't seen Intermission, do yourself a favor and go watch it. Great film.
She was incredible in the film - hope she gets a Best Supporting Actress nod
nod? she's the fave to win after winning the national film critic's awards
Just saw the movie yesterday!Fecking amAzing!! Must see!
She is not accentuating her accent. She states from the beginning that it's her first US show... a big deal for this fabulously talented actor. She's pure lovely and genuine... she's from Ireland for god's sake and now on the biggest stage in the world... and she is full of grace.
I absoluetly love her acting skills and to transform that natural Irish brogue for the Better Call Saul series is just amazing to me.
I first noticed her as a survivor/zombie in the walking dead. I fell in love and have been following her ever since. She's the most beautiful Irish lass I've ever laid my eyes on!
Absolutely adore her accent. I'm such a sucker for an Irish accent 😍
I like it myself... but she too knows we like her accent 😏 as she is putting it on, she quite THE HAM!
@@leonidasthegreatestcarvinc4615 nope she is not putting it on, people from where she is from talk exactly like how she talking here, she just being authentic to her true self. It's just a rural Irish accent with no notions.
@@leonidasthegreatestcarvinc4615 That’s actually toned down. There is nothing put on about it.
@@Dreyno Bro that's 💯 % ( P )lacating ham sand🧙♀️'s-mayo no mustard! Hey-Butt it's sexy she's sexual-it is Hollywood Apeal Thrill$ 👀 get *It!
@@leonidasthegreatestcarvinc4615 I live near her, that’s a natural Tipperary/Thurles accent, she’s just talking normally
Absolutely adorable!!
She was brilliant in Banshees
She's lovely (and the film is wonderful too, which is why I watched this interview, to sustain my enjoyment of it). But what I love the most is that a word she says at 2:43 is bleeped out, probably because she used a bad word, but then she swears again at 4:31 (an expletive used a lot in the film) and it's not bleeped out, presumably because the censors didn't understand what she said.
Kerry is such a massive sweetheart
That is a true, natural, authentic Irish accent.I'm from Mullingar in Co. Westmeath which is not far from where she is from. She's so genuine and real.
2:55 oh, another real time correction!
It’s like talking with my extended family, I still have to listen very carefully.
Immense actress, thoroughly was running rings round them pair in Banshees, superb
Just realised she was in my fav tv show of the year (better call saul) and my fav film. This
i'm literally in love with her. so incredible
Love her Accent 🙌💚
She is so brilliant!
So am I the only one who remembers her from the Walking Dead? Short but powerful appearance in season 4. She is phenomenal in everything she does!
Cool interview.
Nice to see my cousin doing well
Mate i love her acting but I'll be honest that last name is hilarious. The amount of times I've misread it as condom is ridiculous. Either you, her or some family member must of got endless stick at school because of it.
@@peakdennis1 it gets better! I played junior high lacrosse for the “Trojans”. Yep! Uniform had my name in back, Trojan in front!!
Something really genuine about Kerry....
I've fancied her since Rome 😍
Shes fantastic in better call Saul 💕
Ha ha, did NBC seriously let "feckin'" go live on air?! That's hilarious.
kudos to nbc for not bleeping "feckin"
She’s such a good actress
shes also in an underrated, seriously underrated comedy called Women on the Edge.
I love that the censors accidentally missed a “feckin”
No need to censor that.
Your not Irish if you can't get a feck in here and there,
My god I could listen to her talk for a month straight.....
The most underrated Irish actress ever. Incredibly talented and look forward to seeing her in more big movies. I think she’s overplaying her Irish accent in this interview.
I think it’s only Irish to put on a heavier accent when you’re not in your hometown
When you're constantly moving Ireland GB USA...it messes with your accent or that's my experience.
She sounds like someone from North Tipperary, where she's from.
Not the most underrated Irish actress but easily one of underrated actresses ever. Considering the names she’s starred alongside it’s incredible how long people have overlooked her
@@barryryan14 She's still overdoing her native Tipp accent here though. Similar to Saoirse Ronan over-emphasising her Leinster accent when she does interviews.
She was fantastic in the film! Seth speaks true, worthy of a best supporting actor nom if I was votin
Kerry Condon is great in everything. I remember her from hbos Rome.
After enjoying her work in Better Call Saul, I was quite surprised to hear that heavy brogue.....
Did she get away with saying "feckin'"? Love it!
She was good in Better Call Saul, too.
Love her in Danny the Dog
She is rather modest about colin bless her
can a grown woman get any cuter than this beautiful lady. definition of charming.
Those of use with Taste know her from the excellent "Rome", thank you.
Hard to believe it's been 9 year's since she played Clara in an episode of The Walking Dead.
That was such a creepy stand alone ep.
@@samanthab1923 Yes it was
I found out the other day that was her never even realised. She used her natural accent but that huge amount of dirt makeup she had on disguised her facial features and it looked like a different actress. Great performance from her too.
Her accent is amazing lol.
She was Tony Stark's Friday in the MCU🥺❤
Lovely and charming
Let's pretend it never happened. ❤
I will never not love listening to Irish and Scottish people speak
Why out them together? Sound completely different.
@@murpho999 They even sound different every few miles. There’s accents not an accent. I suppose though you have to live on these islands to know what your listening to?
She's fantastic in the film. Nearly fehkin' steals it, like!
One of my best friends is Irish he's fam are the salt of the earth.
Hahaha I’m not sure Seth’s editors knew what feckin’ meant. If they did and chose not to bleep it this is my new favorite late night show.
ROME!!! Different sort of brother sister scene in that one however 😂
omg she's crazy I love her 😍
I thought she was American. She was so good in Breaking Bad!!!
I presume half the comments are from people too young to remember her in the 2 series of Rome as the sister of Octavian / Augustus, the first Emperor. I think it was a HBO / BBC production.
Loved her since Rome. Very radiant
Octavia of the Julii!
She was amazing on Rome too.
I just saw, "Hairy Condom"
I'm now dying
Is this Beavis or Butthead posting this brilliance.....
I love how "feckin" is allowed past the censors.
Sounds pleasant
Love her voice, F.R.I.D.A.Y!!!
She did a nice turn in ' Rome' as well. She's got the American accent down paddy though
This is her own accent. She comes from a County area and this is their accent. Country accents are much thicker than city ones. Their is a problem though when American actors try to do this
Country Irish Accent. None of them get it right
Love that she dropped an F bomb and they didn’t censor it
She snuck a, “feckin’,” in there!
I wonder if they left her “fecking cliff” in when it aired on cable since it sounds so different from how Americans say f@@k lol
She's gas entirely , níor chaill sí riamhte, ins agus faoi Faoin Tuath fós ...she never lost the way of the country in her character , a pure dote as well... a cornerstone of Irishness fair play to her.....all the flashy poster models out of Baywatch and the like could n't amount to the priceless value of how genuine, yet center stage, a person can be ...wow and that takes deep knowing of oneself and that's quite rare these days ..
Whoa, Stacey Ehrmantraut sounds a bit different here.
Need to watch Rome again😊
Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rewatch it a few times a YEAR. Have been addicted to that show since it first aired. Like Downton and Victoria and Versailles, it is so easy to rewatch, over and over. There’s something so delicious about a really well done historical drama…
Remember her as Pops’s daughter in law lol
Is it just me, or did a "feckin" get by the censors? 😂
