Pshh, at least it's understandable English ,not broken English .... It does feel a little demeaning though...but hey I can stand listening to him some people I can't stand ,it's like they don't think about what they sound like,it's frustrating because there's this or there's college and in my case ,I might as well breathe from mouth and dream.

I am a nurse, but I am about to start a course in cyber security. This by far is the best video, especially for us who are new to this field.God bless you, sir.
Hi
Same here. Will like to connect with you if you are open to that. Looking for someone to walk this challenging journey with
was a nursing student and switched, it was just too much for me. can't wait to see how much of a difference this will be (hopefully for the better), good luck to you!
I just got laid off from a 17 year career in Higher Ed. I thought it would be a good time to switch careers so Im taking an accelerated intro cyber certification. I’ve been completely overwhelmed. Im not far into your video but just the part where you say not to be nervous about not getting all the terminology yet, really helped me a lot. As an autistic person, being able to read the vocabulary words while you read them is invaluable. Also the visuals and relatable stories. Thank you so much for making it easier to understand. I will be subscribing!
@Ragamonster77 I love you comment. I have been in accounting for 20 years and got let go due to I don’t have a degree. This video is amazing. Hope you have a wonderful day.
yeah im an accounting major degree. i graduated and tryna to switch to analyst roles like business/data rn studying and getting certs as well. hope i go well with everything since its new years ! new goals.
These comments are all very inspiring & encouraging! Im switching careers @ 40yo & a recovering truck driver! Im not computer illiterate by any means but there is a lot of new concepts to say the least!! Im gonna eat this Elephant one bite @ A time, though!! Good luck to all!!
Maybe you should've kept your hands off your students. Legal doesn't mean consenting.
How is it coming along? Curious as to how this has benefitted you so far.
a free 4 hour course. Thanks!
if you are new to this concepts, even if you try harder you cannot learn this much knowledge so soon. To my knowledge it will costs 24 hours. Four hours its just amazing...
It's actually closer to 5 :D
bro , its 5 hour course and it take too much effort to watch it completely. Though the course is superb.

I rarely give comment but i believe this is the most beginner friendly course on the internet, the narration and the various illustrations was so engaging. I wish I could like 10times This course really blessed me. Thanks alot
I am Taiwanese, and I want to be a cyber security engineer.
It is hard to began. But there are not free courses about cyber security in my country.
This is the best course I ever see. Thank u very much.
This guy is amazing....He makes things appear so easy even without IT knowledge
💯💯💯fr!!
One of the best intro to Cybersecurity courses I have come across so far. Great work.
Wow Bertrand I can’t believe I would ever see someone I know personally in a random video on UA-cam lol..I knew u in sasse
Well done sir! Clear, simple explainations that cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. Thank you so much for your time and effort in creating and sharing this with us!
Thanks for your feedback. Happy learning

1:16:59 straight out of our 2nd degree. A fantastic course offered by an accomplished traveler. I appreciated the reference even if the other 1K commenters did not. Thanks Brother!
I have a hard time staying focused with most tutorials that I find on youtube but I must say that I haven't felt so interested in cybersecurity as I am in this video. I am totally blown away hey. I have been on it for the past three days. so easy to follow and you make soo interesting and fun.
That thought experiment between memory and storage was.... Brilliant. And helped me to understand it.
I begin cybersecurity this fall, and this is the most newb friendly introduction video I’ve seen yet… THANK YOU!
Remember those days when on UA-cam you ended up in weird section by recommendations?
Now we end up here. Nice improvement 🤩
I have commented twice on 2 separate youtube videos in the almost 15 years I have been a member. I have been wanting to become a security professional and have been struggling to retain the wealth of information available everywhere. I was beginning to think that maybe I'm just not going to get it and I should pursue other ambitions. This video has been great. It is very well explained, perfectly presented and not dripping with monotoned condescension. I feel engaged and have not lost interest since I started it. Usually, by now my mind would begin to wander and I'd be considering what I should make for dinner or what I'd like the weekend to look like. I said all of that to say, thank you and I will continue to tune in.
Going to School for Cyber Security and Information Assurance! this is great information. Thanks
Thanks for your feedback
Michael G How was it?
Thank you to the creator of this video. You’re helping a lot of people, many who have zero formal computer science education. There aren’t a lot of videos out there that cater to This group of people. ( people like me)
Sincere thanks!
People like us needed this badly. Thanks to the creator again
Wish content like this was available when I was in high school. Great stuff!
So far I watched 1 hour and I'm blown away by how amazing this video is. Thanks a lot.
Honestly, although a fair amount of this was review for me, this is one of the single best educational videos I’ve ever watched. It was fantastic narration and clearly communicated without too much jargon to confuse the topic. Great job!! A+
Wow. There is a person in IT who has pleasant presenting skills? Thanks man
Decrypting hash passwords could also be done using cypher as i read in most Ethical Hacking Books, so even hash password are merely hard to black hats. Good lesson from you bro,i like the guide beginner,
This channel deserves more support. Keep going mate this is amazing
You rock! Thank you so much. You have revived my interest and breathed life of capability back into my technological desires . I changed my degree because it was overwhelming but I intend to get certifications rather than a degree in this field. Thank you again and bless you!
Thank you so much for this video, it helps enormously. i am starting my Msc in Cyber security this fall and this is an amazing start.
This was a great course. I have worked on computers for 30 years, and I learned some interesting things on this course. ..... I forgot to say Thank you!
I train my people in IT like we are both children. I try to do fun things to keep people awake and engaged like letting them break certain things to show them how quickly they can be fixed with honest communication. When you get really in depth with technology, a lot of it becomes tedious and terminology sounds like a different language, which in many ways it is.
Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to make this course!!!
Thank you very much for sharing this for free. It's really simplified and understandable. What a way to articulate complex things into simple component? Wonderful job. Good luck!
*This course is much easier, shorter, and has more learning materials than in the 6 months of classes for beginners!!*
This is brilliantly illustrated in order help understand how the internet actually works. Thanx mate
Great video sir,most valuable information
Worth to watch
Thanks to u sir and to ur whole TEAM 😘❤️❤️💓💗

As a gen x whose kids have to work the tv remote and printer for, your video is a godsend. This lesson is the first, out many “start and did not finish beyond 45 minutes ” videos I was able to watch to the end and actually enjoyed. Thank you for sharing.
This was awesome. A good entry to Cyber Security. Understanding the underlying layer really does help.
I love when a course manages to make me laugh a fair few times! It's really nice and keeps things refreshing! Already laughed like a dozen times and am in the middle, so I've got more to look forward to c:
This series is insane... Its super interesting and Informative at the same time. Thank you!
Thank you.
Just basic principles of modern computer literacy for beginners and for those who forgot about caution in the digital world.
Thank you for the simplistic breakdown of cybersecurity. Your introduction had me thinkings of ways to deter cyber criminals immediately. Thank you very much. Keeping one’s system safe; barriers. 👍🏾
I had to watch it in parts but I loved it and need it
Thank you very much, for your kindness and effort!

Cyber security way of the future thanks for this lecture
Great to see good information out there for free! Something we are a huge supporter of!
Just finished and I have to admit, I have learnt alot.
Deeply appreciate the time and intentionality toward an audience of beginners that went into this. Very well done.
Would you say this video is still relevant in 2023?
Thinking about going into cybersecurity, you made this sound so interesting, thanks.
Thanks. I already am a cybersecurity person, but helps to refresh my memory and all (never 'officially' had a job in it, but have studied it for many years).
I run Linux systems, so I also fall into a false sense of security, since attacks on Linux are so rare (as you said, its mostly because Windows is so popular, but 'any' system can be attacked).
And 2 Factor Auth. is one of the first things I recommend to people (I believe this is probably the biggest thing that has saved me over the years :-)
William Miller isn’t a way to get past 2 factor auth.?
I'm studying Comptia A+. Do I need to learn Comptia Networking before I start learning Comptia Security?
Great course for both beginners and those who are already in the filed. Thanks for your Time .
Thank you for investing your time and effort. Really useful.

I really like your doodles and drawings. I am starting my cs degree in January and have no idea about any of this. So helpful!

Over a million view this content speaks for itself, Thankyou Dale! 👍👍👍
This helps, even though its 3 years ago.
Good job sir, I hope many lessons will come!
A neat trick I was taught was that when you enter your name into a website signing up, put your middle name as the website name so if you get any scam email, you know which site sold your info to a buyer.
Thank you for this, much appreciated!
Thank you for this video! You are great at explaining!
Thank you very much, sir !
Some ordinary gamers got me intro cyber security. now i wanna pursue it as a career.
I was gonna go into culinary until I actually worked for a small business that screwed me. Then I realized how much I love computers and boom.. plan B.
@@ShoddyLegion that's awesome! i also considered culinary, but I'm pretty sure cyber security will be my career.
Deeply appreciate you taking your time to help others. Good deed, good deed !!!
very well explained, and make it easy to understand, this person knows how to teach. Thank you for sharing this video.
I'm going to be starting school Oct 1st so this is cool for me I'm soaking in all the information I can get since I'm a beginner
I start Cyber Security class next month as a beginner as well. Good luck with your schooling!
school? u mean college?
@@gonzalo_rosae no there's CS bootcamps. Depending on the bootcamp they can be just as good as a college degree kinda like a tradeschool. But I've seen a lot of scam type ones where they say they won't charge you if you arent offered a job above a certain salary but they will usually offer you a job qualifying in the range and then you either have to take it or take the risk of searching for a job with just the bootcamp which aren't usually accredited. My recommendation to anyone maybe thinking of spending the money on a bootcamp i would go for certifications as you'll be able to pay for them the same way a bootcamp works. Its just self taught but that looks more impressive. Now if you're deciding between college and bootcamp. Spend the extra time (it's usually about the same price at the end) and get a degree as it will carry more weight. If you have completed a bootcamp all the more power to you im just giving advice from personal experience. Also your degree is accredited so you can have the possibility of getting it for free if you spend 24/7on scholarships. But the MOST important thing is definitely a good set of certifications(range from 100-1000) like a pentester would want the CEH (this ones ass but its good at landing you most CS jobs for whatever reason) the OSCP(one of the BEST) comptia Pentest+ and a few others related to cyber security.
eRiC M how is it?
@@nylahburns9767 Its not bad..its a lot of information to absorb especially with me not having an IT background. We are half done with the CompTIA and uCertify lessons. Should finish everything somewhere around the beginning of Feb.
I'm starting a course next december in Cyber Security and wanted to go ahead and try to learn a few of the basics on my own. 2 minutes into this video, almost nothing new but I already felt like subscribing because your voice and editing are just so appealing. I look forward to this course and in the meantime, I'll be binge watching your content to get a better understanding of what I'm getting into.
