@@darthmichael12 Thanks! Practice Test Questions were the most important for me. I had Pluralsight(Kaplan) which was 300 questions as well as Darril Gibson's Book(300) and Jason Dion's Tests(390). All of them provided solid, in-depth reasoning as to why answers were correct/incorrect. Kaplan had an option of getting answers/reasonings immediately after you answer, so that was a very helpful way of studying and test-taking at the same time. While I initially started reading Gibson's book, I was not happy with my pace, so instead, I watched this video twice on 1.5x to give myself a solid blanket of knowledge. Then, I started drilling myself with test questions. For me, the real progress happens when you answer questions (wrong or right) as you can then see why the answer is right as well as getting good with test-taking strategy by linking terms together and eliminating possible choices. Thank you. This helps with the terminology tremendously.
good lesson thank you
thank you so much for your great efforts to teach peoples and I wish for you great success and bright future 🙏
Thanks for your feedback
Thank you sir! These are so valuable to me.
THANK YOU BRIAN!
Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos.
Thanks! This is exactly what i have been looking for. I think there is some other great sec+ training out there as well but as someone thats been in tech for a long time all of the other trainings seem really long and dragged out. I dont have a lot of time either. So thanks. looking forward to finishing this video and getting this cert.
Thanks. This is excellent. Just in the interoperability agreements. In most books i have read BPA is business partner analysis ( written agreement of who is responsible for what) and ISA interconnetion security agreememt (agreement that specifies technical and secirity reqs ) . You have them as somthing different. Cheers though.
im going to take an exam. Hopefully this video will help me to answer. heheh Thanks
A true blessing. Thank you so much
In Authentication and Authorization Basics (part 2) you mentioned that SHA-1 is the most secure, I think you have to update this as SHA-1 is breakable and users must upgrade to SHA-2
Mohammed Alsarhan He mentioned “the more secure” [ of MD5 and SHA]....
The material is rather old by now. I created this in I think 2015, or maybe 2016 for Edmonds Community College.
what a great man you are!
Thank you , Covers the course
Crazy times we live in. We have here a very good course available free, that could improve your skill, and income. Free, but people would rather pay $15 a month to watch tv/movies for 5 hours instead. :O
I mean, the test costs like $350.... so there's that....
@@sirseriously $370 now, but yeah.

@@brianferrill4951 I passed my exam like a week after watching your video. So THANK YOU!
@@dylans2088 hi did you get a job yet? Was the video the only resource you studied with?
Great content ...thank you 👏👏👏👍
Thank you for the free course. My only criticism is that some of the slides could do with more concise summaries. Many of the definitions are super fluffy.
Thank you so much Sir for this course with simple explanation
Lord I pray I pass my exam 😩 the first time
did u pass?
Good stuff
Thank you! Very informative and easy to listen
Wow just 5 hrs for all this material is amazing! I'm checking out video today. Thanks
Is this video 5 hrs?
@@spcybrnsuga yes about 5.5 hours. This course does give a good overall look into concepts for sec+. But there is some details missing. I would use this and Professor Messers free training and a good reference book.
Did you past the test?
@@spcybrnsuga I stopped because of family obligations. But now that its passed Im back to studying again. Im about half way. Are you studying?
@@JoseFuentes-fn3dl I'm starting but I bought study material. I can share with you for 16.00
God bless you sir 🙏 . This video means a lot to me. I encourage someone to go through this video thoroughly, and use d knowledge to answer comptia questions, this will save u time.

Very Nice Bro! Get Good People!
I noticed some of the items on the list provided had errors or were missing, so I decided to make my own. (Will update as I continue the course)
Introduction to Network Devices (part 1) (0:00)
Introduction to Network Devices (part 2) (8:06)
Introduction to Network Devices (part 3) (15:50)
Integrating data and systems with third parties (21:52)
Really wish you have a pdf version, this is a good presentation
Setting a goal to study for two weeks and take the test. Gotta pass this for my job so no time to mess around.
If marines can study this for 10 days and pass both USMC cert and compTIA cert, I believe in you.
@@ThePoorMachanic I wanna approach things like a marine pro. No time wasting
Passed! Now I can have a good weekend.
@@RoboRope congratulations. What materials did you miss?
Wow very thorough and clearly spoken, thank you.
Your welcome
Whoa whoa whoa.
You're telling me this is the FULL CompTia Sec + course?
What's the catch? Where'sthe hidden signature that requires me to sell my so...
Wait, don't have a soul. That's been taken by IB.
Where's the hidden signature that requires me to sell my heart to you?
I urge a little bit of caution. I created this for Edmonds Community College back in 2015. While a lot of the material will still be relevant, some of it will be out of date
@@brianferrill4951 can you please sort out which parts are out of date ?
😊this helped me out alot thank you so much^^
Great, Millions of Thanks!!!
Hi sir it was more useful your touching all the security concepts... If u share the resources like ppt or pdf it will be a more beneficial for preparing some interviews or certification exams...finally thank u for your effort sir...
Sorry, this material was created for Edmond Community College's PACE-IT program to supplement their existing material. I did not retain what you are asking for.
Is this course still relevant for the Security+ SY0-601 exam?
my question, too
Hello sir, can u please confirm if this is the latest version for the exam? Thanx in advance!!
watched this in 3 days using chrome extension youtube fast forwarder. watching this guy at 2.5x speed.
That would have been one day...just joking. Three days is okay. Did you take the test yet?
2.5😂 thats beast mode
Good overview.
straight to the point. no fluff. good stuff
