"The next time you see a voice actor..." haha. Funny man. That's the thing, we NEVER see you guys. But we hear it, we know it and believe me we appreciate it. What an awesome profession.
If you're a gamer, you probably don0t remember much of his work as Jack sparrow, and if you're an overall geek, you'll remember him more with Obi Wan, Ratchet and Tidus. Jack Sparrow is not someone that you remember before these three...
James Arnold Taylor Hell, I can impersonate a ton of famous Japanese anime names, but sadly, Donald Duck is way beyond me; I can only laugh/snicker like him (it's still not as close). The few select amount of people who can pull of Donald tend to do some sort of trick where they trap air in a certain part of their cheeks, or in the case of Tony Anselmo, who's gone through three hellish years I hear to perfect his state of scrunching his face to the side to achieve it. His current Japanese voice who also does a number Disney voices and extends to Kingdom Hearts, Kou'ichi Yamadera, also does the "air cheek trap" trick I assume, since as I've seen in one vid, the guy who explains the trick states people usually try to arrange their tongue in a way to achieve the effect, which is said to be less efficient. (Fun fact: for anime fans Yamadera is well known for Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, Ryouga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2, Ryouji Kagi from Neon Genesis, Vincent Brooks from Cathrine, Kain Highwind in some Final Fantasy Media, Roger Rabbit, and Joel in The Last of Us who shares Troy Baker as his ENG voice with the aforementioned Brooks; he's one of the select anime names to be in KH/Disney as well as in cartoons in general.) (He was once married to Mika Kanai, but since 2012 is re-married to fellow anime voice actress of many, Rie Tanaka.) I do admit, your Plo Koon voice and variations sound A LOT like Tom Kane; it's saying something in that you can also do a Yoda impression (who Kane also voice doubles for). (Oh boy that was long sorry XD)
"My mama always said impressionists are like a box of chocolates...you always seem to get Jack Nicholson." ....... You have another subscriber. Thank you for that cat-startling laugh out loud. .....and then I watched the rest of the video, and wished I could hit the big red button about ten more times. As an aspiring voice actor, this was marvelous.
Yo that David Spade was actually spot on like at one point I closed my eyes for a second and then I heard David's voice and thought it was actually him for a second. Damn good man. P.S. I have loved your voice since 2001! TIDUS & FFX FOR LIFE!!!!!
Holy crap. I *THOUGHT* your doc brown was a bit too spot on.. I actually had to IMDB it lmao and yup my suspicions were spot on. xP I was also shocked to learn that you voiced Johnny Test too. Dude you have range and that's awesome
I have this headcanon that Tidus, Johnny Test and Ratchet are like... Roommates that are friends but fight each other constantly for mocking each other
I love doing impressions as well, and you truly are one of the greatest impressionists/ voice actors out there. Thank you for your work, and please keep talking Mr. Taylor!
This is amazing. You're impressions are spot on, you even change your face to look like them. I suppose that's the best way to 'channel' their personality.
I've been doing a few impersonations lately, but I hadn't though much of it. After seeing this, you've inspired me to actually practice and learn how to get better just like any other talent.
+James Arnold Taylor I am a big fan of your work. You and Tom Kenny (Spongebob, Ice King) should work together or you or Roger Craig Smith (Sonic, Captain America, Batman)
Damn, sir...that is beyond impressive. So gald that all of us start up Voice Actors and Impressionists have greats like you, Dee Baker, Billy West, Frank Welker, and the many others to be inspired by. Great Work.
Oh my gosh these were amazing, your David Spade was perfect and the Marty and Doc convo...I had to use all my willpower to keep from squealing it was so spot on! You are just one bundle of pure awesomeness and that is a fact!
This is an awesome video, James! Loved it. I like some of the new ones/ones that you don't usually pull out featured in this video. I also dug how you just did more with them. So good! You're one of the best! And I constantly say you're one of my idols/inspirations and this just proves it further. Can't wait to see what you do next!
It looks so fun to impersonate different people! :D I just can't seem to get the image of Ratchet out of my head when you talk in your normal voice, though. x)
+James Arnold Taylor You Always Play Ratchet From Ratchet And Clank Perfectly, Even Better Than Mikey Kelly Who Played Ratchet In The Original First Game!
I wanna see you try Sam Witwer/as Darth Maul. Seriously though, you are one of the most talented voice actors and impressionists have ever had the privilege of listening to. :)
Wow Mr. Arnold Taylor, you’re really talented. You did a great job voicing Johnny test, hank anchorman, principal Jules harm, mr. mittens, beekeeper, and dark vegan in Johnny test, Leonardo in TMNT (2007), ratchet in ratchet and clank, green arrow in Batman: the brave and the bold and LEGO dc super villains, and Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: the clone wars.
I don't know if you follow professional wrestling much, but having been in that domain for 12 years I can tell you that everyone... *everyone* in wrestling has an impression of Terry Funk and John Laurinaitis. Both having pretty distinguished voices, you have your challenge right there.
...I lost it at Nic Cage meets Owen Wilson. Great performances, all. ;]

Really? I have the same problem, just with Ratchet.
Anyone think of Captain Jack Sparrow from Kingdom Hearts II?.. Obi Wan ?
If you're a gamer, you probably don0t remember much of his work as Jack sparrow, and if you're an overall geek, you'll remember him more with Obi Wan, Ratchet and Tidus. Jack Sparrow is not someone that you remember before these three...
Keith Ickass I mostly hear him as Tidus and Johnny Test.

I don't know if you follow professional wrestling much, but having been in that domain for 12 years I can tell you that everyone... *everyone* in wrestling has an impression of Terry Funk and John Laurinaitis. Both having pretty distinguished voices, you have your challenge right there.
Kayspaify Which was sort of implied when I said 'John Laurinaitis'.
