- This was my first time trying Durian in Vietnam and all I can say is....WOW. For anybody who has not had the chance to try this fruit I HIGHLY suggest you take advantage when you get the chance. If you have to spend a little bit more than you usually would on food for the day it is well worth it. This is an experience you won't ever forget.
This fresh Durian tastes 100 times better than the frozen Durian I had in The United States of America.

Durian is the king of fruits and Mangosteen is the queen! Do you know durian is addictive too!? Durian is the most expensive fruit! It used to be for rich people only! Now it is more affordable for common people!

Thank you for supporting the channel! Overall the costs of fruits are extremely cheep depending on where in the world you are traveling to Vietnam from. I am coming from America where the cost of good quality fruit is very expensive 4-5 times more at minimum.
you should get jackfruit the refined version of durian without the creaminess.
I have had jackfruit my friend. much different in taste. I enjoy both! Durian more of a meal and jackfruit a sweet snack
I wonder if the species grown there in Vietnam is slightly different than in Thailand. The Durian fruit i tried in Thailand just had a very pungent smell that i couldn't really describe the taste.

It's more of a luxury food item. It's like the caviar of fruits lol. That and yes it's out of season also.
