I absolutely suck at fighting in video games, so needless to say when I have a time constraint I'm even worse. I also get lost in my own kitchen 😢, let alone in this shroud. So it'll take me quite a few attempts to get this one and this is just starting the game😂😂😂.Having said all that I'm using using the excuse of being very old lol. Great content, thank you for all the hard work.
@PlanetEarth3141 Yep, I hear ya! I'm 62. It's nice to know other folks our age are gaming. There's a youtuber named MojaveD who is in his 70's who does playthru's. I dont do first-person shooter games, just these types of games. My all tume fav is red dead redemption 2. If you haven't played it, i highly recommend it.❤

Finally retrieved my body. Now, I am going to level up some more before going back. Get some more heal potions. I have to be over leveled to take on anything.
Fun Video, good place to get Metal Sheets is the Spire he wants you to go to, use the mace you got to break everything, lots of Wax as well in the Spire

nice job on boss. I played this, died at boss and lost all my stuff and got a bit discouraged but going to try again. probably just need to get better armor and make sure i have food and all. i do have the sword
you can get a lot of metal scrap from breaking barrels and boxes on poi, as long as it seems to have metal in it it has a chance to drop it, i got around 37 metal scrap just from the first camp before putting my flame altar

Unfortunately not anymore, you'll have to go exploring and wait till later game to start unlocking things rather then just destroying all the structures.
I am pretty sure that you missed a hidden door when you recovered the Blacksmith. It might be worth teleporting to that altar you placed nearby and revisiting the place you found him. There should be a weapon in a chest there. 16:22 The chests that do allow you to build from them are unlocked when you get The Carpenter. 18:43 The best thing for stamina is some honey. You should always have a bit of honey in your inventory as a temporary stamina booster. Reading the comments, I noticed that you can no longer place a Flame Altar and gather blocks from ruins, etc. Is that true? I guess that would be a bit of a cheat, but I am sorry to hear it, it would have made beginning building so much easier. I used that technique a lot in the Demo, after watching you use it. Do you have any plans to create a floating castle in the sky? Since there is no structural integrity, I am assuming you can build a tall tower, like you did in the demo to find the highest you could go, and then place a flame altar at the top and use the terraforming tools to add earth under and around so you can build a floating island in the clouds. You can then use this as a place to glide just about anywhere on the map. I am also looking forward to your Hobbit village build. I really enjoyed your Hobbit hole episode. 😼 I noticed that you have a bit of a nervous laugh. I also have this annoying habit. Have you ever had it get you in trouble? I once got reprimanded at work when a customer got angry at me because they thought I was laughing at them and their problem. Sort of a Godfather moment, "Are you laughing at me? Do you find this funny?" The guy was like 6ft. 4 and 280 pounds. I thought I was about to die.😰

How do you feel about the map? I’m loving the game so much but the map feels restricted even though it’s so big due to the paths it forces you to follow
I love it! It's only 24 square km for EA but the full release will be 64 so much larger. I personally am loving all the detail in the hand-crafted map, it's been a lot of fun!! And if I want long sailing adventures with a larger procedural map I can always launch some Valheim :)

The combat is a little jank. I play on controller and the lock on button makes the combat super easy. I’m not sure what that button is on mouse and keyboard, but I would suggest for everyone to at least try locking on lol
That’s one of the few complaints that I have about this game. The tutorial is very very minimal. Barely teaches you anything at all. Didn’t really like that but overall I love this game and can’t get enough of it!

the trees with the yellow leaves drop more resin than the regular trees. learning that helped solve my chronic resin shortage in the early area.

I think maybe it will work on steam deck now, it didn't in the demo. Either way it's a ton of fun so I'd recommend :)
