You are not only a great builder, you're a great teacher, thank you. I am not really good at building in these games, but I can come watch your videos, and learn techniques that make my place look better. I appreciate that you take the stress out of building for me. Have an awesome weekend.
If you lay down a big foundation block and then remove it it will leave the area open. Its a way faster way to make a basement.just keep laying and removing the blocks to open up the ground as deep as you want
@@Chiselchip I used that trick to make a huge area inside a high stone cliff, kinda like a dwarf fortress. Carved it out in just 10 minutes. AND it didn't use any resources.
At first I thought the building in Enshrouded was pretty basic, but after spending more time with it I realize how much you can actually do and I find it impressive. The ability to create walls and then remove 1 block sections, dig tunnels under your base, different types of lighting or even adding secret doors to other rooms.. it's quite a lot you can get done creatively. Most other games that have in depth building like this aren't also loaded with other great escapes. Tired of building? Go explore. Tired of that? Go smash some enemies heads' in. The combat is satisfying, the building is intuitive, the crafting is deep and intriguing.. I am glad I didn't pass up on this game. Most fun I've had with a PC game in easily a decade.
Absolutely agree, I thought the same. However I've learned so many cool ways to use certain tools now. I made an Enchanted Forest Grove combining a lot of them.
Your builds are absolutely amazing. I am level 13 or 14 now and still haven't built my permanent home. Getting a lot of tips from your vids. Thanks a ton
One thing that might add to this house is a road, perhaps? If you find dirt roads and pickaxe them, you'll get "Dirt Road Block" from them. You can then carve out a road then fill them in with said block - also still provides the "on The Road" buff, too! Loving the videos, btw!
They definitely need to add some more deco blocks, like a smoker block for the top of chimneys. A nice plume of smoke coming from the chimney would really complete the aesthetic of this woodlands log cabin.
Just put a candle on top. You won't see it and you'll see a little of the smoke, or use a torch and kinda bury it inside the Chimney and watch the smoke bellow out.
CC, yet again you show us what a gift you have for building. This is a particularly 'atmospheric' look - I could just imagine Hansel and Gretel, lost in the forest, coming across this little home in a clearing and having their adventure. Awesome indeed!
Oh no, I had no idea this game existed, but this looks really fun! Finally, an open-world exploration game with a building/crafting system that gives you modularity all the way down to the half-meter size!.

today is my first time hearing about this game since i am not super active on steam, or really aware of new games that come out. but i really enjoyed the building process of this cute house! i really want to try this game out, but i would need custom pc cause i have so many games already. i doubt my laptop could really handle this game and i won't have the space for it tbh. but one day! loved this video keep up the good work!
I wanna live there IRL! That looks so cozy and nice. I like the small details that give it a lot of personality. I didn't really plan to play this game but now I kinda want to so I can live in the woods haha
Making a little half wall for your attic/loft floor so that the roof sits a bit higher would make it a more usable space, imo. You could even add dormers or something if you did that. Would be very nice.
I bought this EA game about a week ago and i cannot/don't want to stop building. There's so incredibly many block to build with and tons of material so the building is really endless, almost. Love the video, gives tons of ideas. Thanks. 🤎😃👍😊

Thank you for putting out these videos and I hope you continue to make more videos to inspire people like me to build better in Enshrouded!
The building in this game is just incredible. Coming off of Palworld that has such infuriating collision physics and limited block diversity, this is so much fun. Minecraft building with modern graphics essentially.
Thank you for sharing these expertly crafted hearths with us. You have an eye for design and it shows in your builds. You manage to bring the perfect location and home together to make something special. If you challenged yourself to make a dwelling in a difficult location, or to make a nice venue fit a challenging home, I bet you could do unexpected things. You're also not afraid to make changes to your build, even though it means taking a chance and redoing your hard work. I think the outcome is better as a result. I love this cozy build, and your tricks with the roof blocks really made it pop. Very inspirational.
So i took your advice and played around with single block pieces to get different textures and designs. If you use the tarred roof block and place blocks directly above the window then down the sides skipping the corners it will cause the peak carvings to appear giving some extra detail around your windows
I love everything about this build. From the look to the location, I needed this in my game. I followed your instructions and it turned out amazing! Thank you!
Haha thanks Matt! It’s fun to do it here and not have to run to Home Depot every hour and spend a fortune 🤣 prepping for the day when it can happen for real haha
This was so entertaining to watch! You narrate and explain things in such a calm, clear and understandable manner. Big kudos for that! I am very chaotic with explanations myself hahaha.
