During Fall 2013, Ricarda Messner visited Montréal to "flane" in the city in search of a storyfull street for one of the next issue of Berlin based magazine "Flaneur". We had the chance to interview her as she came by the Goethe-Institut.

*sigh* this was nearly a decade ago, and if anything it has gotten more true. Smart phones, instant gratification, you don't even have to leave the house anymore. Anything can be shipped to your front door. The art of flaneuring is dying a painful death
