Finally someone did a video on this in snow! Bought a set of 265/60/18 a year ago with 20k miles on them now. These rugged Treks did a fantastic job in dry/wet/dirt/mud but have not tested it in deep snow or icy. Thanks for the video!
We’ve gotten about 42”s of snow here in Anchorage in the last 11 days. Drove my 2nd generation Frontier threw at least 14” of snow with no problem. I haven’t spun out yet, or get stuck.
I have these tires on my Silverado, I live in rural Michigan off a dirt road. These tires have been excellent in rain, loose snow and packed snow. A slight hum on the dry pavement which I don't mind at all. Goodyear now owns Cooper.
Good looking tire, looking at either these or a new set of Goodyear duratracs, love the duratracs but sometimes wanting a little more aggressive traction without a full mud tire. Thanks for posting!
thanks for this video and the last one! surprised how smooth and quiet these are with the mean lookin' tread. i think these might be just what Im after as I mostly street driving but want a bit of an aggressive look.
Winter season is here. Some good questions below need some answering if you don’t mind? MPG go down? How were they on ice after a couple years? Did you end up trying them in sand and mud? About to pull the trigger but don’t want to affect mpg to much
I have a 2017 F150 Crew Cab 5.0 same tires they do well I wish I had limited slip though but very impressive on another note what exhaust / mods you have I have tuner true dual exhaust with cats yet dual in and out black widow nice Rumble, I immediately noticed your Rumble so I thought I would ask sounds good
Living in northeast Tennessee I might buy these Cooper tires so I can go off roaring up I'm the Cherokee national forest/ in Pisgah national forest in western nd and down in the smoky mountain national park and in nantahala national forest down by Murphy, nc. We did not get any snowfall this past winter in the tri cities area ( brustol_johnson city and kungsport) so I am a little hesitant to buy too aggressive of mud terrain tires to do the daily driving in northeast Tennessee with the couple of road trips east to Richmond and Alexandria, va areas to visit with my son and daughter. Just would not want to hear the louder noise of M/T tires.
I appreciate your videos. I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and the GoodYear Wrangler Kevlar Territoy ATs suck ass!! Rotated every 5000 miles and they are going to be toasted by 30,000 miles. I ordered some Cooper Rugged Trek 265 70 R16 which are stock sizes and hope they are awesome. I have had the Discoverer AT34S on other trucks and they were great.
I wish they made my size in a 10 ply 120 load index. Have the Mickey Thompson Baja boss at and these things grip in everything. Just heavy compared to other 10 ply tires ive ran and pick up rocks a ridiculous amount of rocks. Had toyo at3s previously and at the time they didn't come in a e load so I had to get a xl 6 ply 117 load index. They did phenomenal as well except muddy situations. Didnt pick up hardly any rocks. I try to keep it a pavement princess. I work in construction as an electrician. Just wanted something more aggressive and could handle the extra weight better. I may try toyo at3 again since they make them in 10 ply now unless cooper decides to make the rugged treks in a 10 ply 120 load index. 275/55r20. Took the toyos off at 70k miles with 6/32 left out of 13/32 Baja boss at I currently have 14/32 left with 40k miles on them. Came with 18/32
Someone gets it! Not to bash the old duratracs because they were great tires but in 2wd wet pavement in this truck they almost became unsafe. These feel so secure on wet roads now!

@@russtoverwhat tires?
Tried them very loud and mpg was horrible. Switched to cooper road and trail and they were awesome. 23 z71 rst Silverado duramax.

Hope Goodyear doesn't ruin Cooper.
How are they in the ice?
Thinking about getting it for my Trail boss
That’s beautiful land. I’m from Texas seeing snow like that is amazing I bet
Yeah it's beautiful for a couple days but when it last for 3-4 months Snow Sucks!!
Thanks for the review I just ordered these tires time to test them out in some Canadian winters.
Thanks for the review. Not too many videos on these tires yet.
Thansk for update! Love the look of them, my nittos suck in the rain/snow

Wanted these but don’t have my size . I got the AT3 and so far I like it .
Thanks , this was just what I was needing to see . I’m getting them
Thanks for the review looking at these or another set of the falken wild peaks
I was looking at the wild peaks also! No complaints with these so far!

just bought a set for my Jeep JK.
Thanks for the info man. Super appreciative

Just got some one my truck , ready to play in the snow lol
Im running 275 60R/20
Anyone having issues with theirs after mounting and balancing having vibration at 50 mph and higher? Just super light vibration?
You need to have your tires ROAD FORCE balanced and that won’t happen
@@Hunter.36 ya had them re-balanced somewhere else. The first place screwed up and cracked my rim even. Won't say they did it either ugh
How are these tires on ICE. I live in North Georgia. And I’ve is a big concern during our winters.

Nice vid. Do these tires come with raised white lettering?
I’m not sure if these do! I know the cooper at3 xlt can come with raised white lettering.
I have them and they don’t have the white lettering. Just 2 different tread patterns.
Knife design on one side.
Mountain peak on the other.
We just got this tires install in my wife wrangler and i am impressed how aggressive they look and how quiet they are well c how did they do
What tire pressure you running, I’ve got these on my Tacoma at 40 front and 30 psi rear being no weight unless loaded, and they are great in the mud.
If you buy again, would you go with the Duratracs or the Rugged trekk ? I daily drive an SUV but I also use it for some serious off-road on weekends
I would definitely buy the Rugged Treks again. They have been amazing.
how many miles did these tires last? im looking to get these on my silverado 1500 in 10 ply.
Are they LT or standard load tires ?
Anyone know how these do in sand?
How about weight in the bed in 2wd.
thank you

Ive been looking for a review in the winter with these tires. Thank you. Are you still happy with them?

How are they comparing to the Copper S/T max
Have you noticed any mpg loss?
How many miles on them and what's the treadwear now?
How about hard pack / icy conditions ?
Great vid/review. Thank you. How much psi were you running?
I went crazy bout them turkeys I was yelling get out and shoot em 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
How badly does it effect the mileage?
Not something I paid attention to as I don’t drive the truck daily.
Pretty impressive. I have the same truck and know how useless it is in 2wd on anything but dry pavement.
Someone gets it! Not to bash the old duratracs because they were great tires but in 2wd wet pavement in this truck they almost became unsafe. These feel so secure on wet roads now!
How did they compare to dura you ran before? Snow, noise and traction
What size are you running.
Yep. What size tire? and was there any weight in the bed of the truck? Thx.
@@applesbighatranch6906 They are 275/65/20
@TopKick818 275/65/20
any all terrain tire will spin in snow lol
