Just asked you about your Toyo Open Country C/T tires, which you said you’ll get a 2nd set of. Now that you’ve had these Coopers for a little bit, which do you prefer?
I’m running these in the warmer months and I’m onto my third season. I was out in slightly muddy and greasy conditions yesterday and I thought I’d slide into the ruts but didn’t. Still impressed with them and they look 80% new.
@@PrecisionRifleGroup1 I'm a big fan of Cooper tires. We run the Rugged Trek on my wife's Grand Cherokee, SST Pro on my XJ, and AT3 XLT on my 2500 6.7. Only reason I'm considering the R.T.'s for my 2500 once the AT3's are worn is because the AT tread tends to grab and sling more rocks than I'd prefer. I think the R.T.'s may be the perfect compromise between the AT3 and SST, which at that time I may bump up to a 35x12.5.
They're extremely cheap offroad tires. That means they're hard rubber. They're more for style than anything. I'd say gravel at best, but a rocky grade is where they'd suffer.
@@___Eldritch Two years and three summers of use and these are doing just fine. They’ve had loads of highway, gravel road, and off road use in the Idaho mountains. They’re a nice compound and they ride quietly and comfortably. Don’t believe the brand name hype on tires these days. The best car tires I’ve run in a decade are no name brand off Amazon.com I don’t have a dog in this fight other than the money I put out to buy these. Not sponsored. Thanks for the comment though.
Do you still stand by your comments on these? Are they worth it? I drive a Jeep daily and had the cooper STT before but leaning towards these since their aggressive tread and warranty. Just curious of your opinion since the review. Thank you for your feedback.
Coopers are amazing. I love them and I think you will too.

I really like them both but seeing as how hard the 1 ton is on tires I’m leaning towards the Toyo CTs going forward.
Are the sipes deep?
3/16" Originally. FYI: I have moved away from these tires to TOYO Open Country Commercial Truck tires.
Stock tire size and suspension? I’m looking at these for my 2500.

Yes, these are still going strong. I think it’s worth noting these also seem to have stood up to highway driving better than my previous tires.

Appreciate the feedback. Already made the move on more recent videos.
