- In the 90's, I was more of a Beast/Piranha/Boss guy as I never had a Cuda. Now, I get to try the Cuda PowerCor Pearl with HK22 technology! Let's see how flippy this ball can get!
With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Ball Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.
The Columbia 300 Cuda Pearl is available starting 07.13.2023.

Man the Brunswick family of bowling balls is killing it!!! Going to be really tough picking out this years arsenal! Thanks Nick
I had the Cuda/C back in the 90s, it was a great ball.
This ball looks great. The Crypto Boom is another one on my radar.
Thanks Nick for all the reviews!
Yeah neat looking ball... Very shiny! Columbia 300 has some interesting balls. That one seems like a winner!
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling Columbia 300 cuda powercor with carbon fiber technology and dynamic core technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time
That ball looks alot like my old yellow dot bleeder. very nice release .. it's a keeper.
NICK!!! Even when you were figuring out the line/angle/release…THAT Cuda was giving you the benefit!!! Reminds me of the Jade Cuda/C!!! Good stuff! Keep lighting it up!!!
I got this ball on sale a few weeks ago. Been using it in league all this week for game 3. I honestly can say this ball makes those pins move! Honestly, I stand right and rip the ball, so this ball fits my style of play perfectly. The 3.0 BW game 1 usually is insane! Sometimes I can stay with it for game 2 but usually I'm throwing my GB4 solid and then game 3 the Cuda.
This ball is amazing.. had it drilled yesterday played a league set.. consistent controllable reaction..
Hey Nick’ I (pre paid) for the pearl Cuda since I have the solid. I’ve been going up and down putting a stage 2 compound on the Cuda up to a full polish. Now I’m glad there is a pearl out now. So after this video I’m buying the pearl and the solid I have will be a solid again.
Im really happy that your getting more ppl watching your videos. At 5k ppl watching I’m excited to see what you give away? 8:17
9:21 no fluke Nick✌🏼
The last ball I think is more indicative to what the Cuda is capable of. It seems to fall in between the Radioactive and Crypto Boom in that it is not quite as angular as the Radioactive but still more than the Crypto Boom. As someone who has all the Cudas 25 years ago; this is definitely going in the bag next month. I need something to play off my Explosion when I need to get into 4th arrow. Scorpion Sting was a possibility but was holding out hoping for the release of this ball.
No your shots didn’t run the 8 pin over every time, you did however manage to strike from 25 to damn near the rail. I’m considering this ball for sure. Thank you.
I can see a comparison vid in the works! Crypto Boom or the Radioactive?
Anymore Skid flip from Brunswick and others under Brunswick let me know. Nick
I want to see the specto data from last ball thrown!
15.7mph 347rpm 3.59° launch angle 6.66 breakpoint position 38.54 total hook 15.15 hook power 4.37° entry angle 6.44° impact angle 17.97 pin deck exit
@@brunsnick thank you
Could i replace my zen pearl with the cuda? Or something more like a stealth pearl
I’d go Stealth Pearl.
Nick just wanted to say I got your reply on Asymmetry or solid for 1st ball depending on read of the lanes though, so prepaid Pearl Cuda and bought the Asymmetry Brutal HK22 Brunswick, this ball is massively a strong ball, I also last month bought the Columbia Madness, another flip block like (Cuda) but the Madness I have to say it surprised me compared to the 2.0 pearl ? Anyways BN hope your healing up well, (from another Video)
Oblique is good, 100% thanks!
Cuda pearl
Stealth pearl
Fireball
What’s your pick for the most length and angle?
Fireball has the most length but not the most angle unless you’re on dry lanes. Out of those the biggest bending ball is Stealth Pearl for me.
Which one would you buy, the Chill or the pearl Cuda? I’m tossed with these two since I have the Cuda Solid 5:10
If you have the Cuda solid, get the Pearl. The Chill will overlap with what you have.
Nick, do you see the Cuda and much stronger than the Track Red Tundra? I am a slower speed bowler and usually battle too much hook rather than not enough hook. TIA Nick S.
It’s a decent step up with a lower RG and higher differential than the Tundra Fire. Slower speed go for the Tundra.
@@brunsnick thanks for the input. Think I will go that route with the Tundra Fire.
What is that nugget in the inner core? Is it ceramic like the original?
Ceramic cannot be used any longer, but it is much denser than core material.
