Columbia 300 Cuda PowerCOR Pearl Bowling Ball
Columbia 300 has produced some of the most memorable bowling balls in the history of the sport, the Cuda name and technology are towards the top of that list. The features of the original Cuda were ahead of their time; the new Cuda PowerCOR uses an updated version of the Cuda core for today’s environment. The PowerCOR is a dense but drillable inner piece of the core, eliminating drilling restrictions. A dense flip block is added to the core body that moves mass away from the center of the ball, creating more differential and imbalance.
Cuda PowerCOR was a great addition to the Columbia 300 line last season; the throwback name and updated technology resonated with bowlers and has been a success. We’re excited to follow up the Cuda PowerCOR solid with the Cuda PowerCOR Pearl. The pearl version allowed us to apply HK22 technology in a shiny version to a strong symmetric core in the Columbia 300 line, something bowlers have been asking for. This version of HK22 uses ERT Pearl additives for ideal length and lots of kick on the backend.

there’s many different ways that the world of bowling has brought me joy. from starting high school bowling and meshing with a group of funny and caring individuals to fast forwarding to the opportunity to bowl collegiately, the people that I have met and the experiences I have shared with them has created many friendships and memories I hold onto to this day. Most importantly, my relationship with my father. Growing up with a bowling family gave me a way to bond and spend a lot of time with my dad and it’s a bond and relationship I’ve held very dear to me as time as gone on. On top of the countless hours, money, and sacrifices he has made to allow me to do what I love is something I can’t say thank you enough for. The memories, the friends, and my family is what has brought me joy through this amazing world of bowling!

Bowling has brought me joy because it is something I can continue to do even though I'm turning 70 next month. I've played a lot of sports all my life but had to give up most of them as I've gotten older. I.e. basketball, football, racquetball. But I can still continue to bowl.

I've been bowling most of my life, grew up in a bowling alley as my parents both bowled 2-3 nights a week. Bowling has brought me joy in different ways from shooting my first 300, winning a league championship, just meeting up with my friends and having some laughs and fun. I've alway enjoyed the sense of competition and has taught me good sportsmanship and there's nothing like buying a new ball and bowling good with it. Love the video's and insight, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

bowling was something i would hear folks talk about and i would really only do it with friends. a buddy of mine gave me a 10 year old Storm Hyroad and as soon as he gave it to me i found one of your videos highlighting it and i instantly subscribed. i also used your videos to learn how to throw a hook and i got that ball drilled to fit my hand. that was 4 months ago and i’ve developed an average of 150 from self teach and especially your videos. about 3 months ago i got an uncontrollable nosebleed that lasted 5 days with nasal packing. ever since then my nose hasn’t been the same and no amount of doctors can enlighten me with any information about what’s wrong. i had to find a new job, and had to stop going to the gym, i can hardly drive my jeep off-road anymore which was my favorite thing to do. i had to alter my life so heavily just to stop my sensitive nose from doing this time and time again. since then i’ve switched to 2 handed bowling so it’s not so much weight and strain on the one arm and it seems like it’s the only hobby i’ve held onto since this whole incident. bowling bringing me joy is and understatement. it brings me hope and life. i’ve replaced letting my emotions out at the gym with bowling and i’ve honestly never felt better. i’m hoping to join a league in the fall after using the summer to practice. the feeling i get when i walk into a bowling alley; the sound the smell the people the atmosphere. there’s no way of describing what that means to me. and when i finally step up to the lake and bowl that first strike of the night it feels like i’m unstoppable. thank you tenback for your constant uploading and constant participation in this community it’s very helpful and informative. i appreciate everything you guys are doing and make sure to keep it up!🎳🤘

Bowling has brought me joy by letting me meet and have friendships that I've have for many years. Starting in youth bowling then youth scholarship tours. Bowling through college and leagues then moving to a different state and meeting a different group of friends. Traveling with my same team to Nationals every year. Bowling has allowed me to build friendships and a 2nd family over the years.

Bowling brings me joy because I used to bowl league with my parents. After my dad passed away, I stayed away from it for about 10 years. I got back into it 6yrs ago and have not looked back. I've updated all my equipment as well. I just got my first HK22 cover stock ball last month(outer limits) and I love it. I try to bowl 2 or 3 times a week. I enjoy bowling so much I sold all of my golfing equipment. So yea...I'm all in. Keep doing the ball reviews, they are real informative.

Bowling brings me alot of joy today even more than it used to when I was growing up. I came back to bowling almost 2 years ago after a long hiatus and was blown away by the amount of knowledge there is available online. I dove right in head first, ended up enjoying it so much that I changed to 2h from traditional, bought a drill press and jig, began drilling my own equipment, and reconnected with some old friends for league. Meeting new bowlers during leagues and tournaments has been a blast as well.

I began bowling last year with my husband, Gary. We have enjoyed the leagues and open bowling as a couple. However the real joy has been getting tips from my 90 year old father. He had to give up bowling a few years back, and is so excited that I am now on the lanes. He lights up when I call him to tell him about our progress. I have hit 198, and hope I can bowl a 200+ soon...just so I can share the news with him.

Brunswick is killing it with all brands! Thanks again Frank I really enjoy your reviews and comparisons. The thoroughness is appreciated. On to your question....."The joy bowling has brought me" I started bowling when I was 8 and as I got older and became an adult I got into leagues became a 200+ avg bowler back in the 80's with urethane that is and just the comradery between teammates and competitors was fantastic. The fun, the competition the laughs, the hangovers, the travel, the tournaments, the stories, the beer, and THE FOOD!!! Still love it just with 14lbs now!

Bowling has brought me immense joy over the years, beginning when I was a kid and my uncle had a pro shop at a local alley. Whenever my parents needed a babysitter for my brother and I, my uncle would have us hang out with him at the pro shop. We'd sweep, vacuum, hang out and look at all the bowling balls that he was working on. He'd get us a lane and my brother and I would bowl for hours.
After being unable to bowl due to my career at the time, I switched careers and had the time and money to be able to get back into it. I've relished being able to enjoy the sport once again, bowling my first leagues, bowling my first state tournament and learning how to get better each and every day. Most of all, it's really rounding into a huge family experience-- I'm bowling in a league this summer with my uncle, my cousin and my brother and my parents and grandfather come often to watch us bowl. Bowling has run in my family for decades and it brings me so much joy and happiness to continue on this family tradition.

Bowling has brought me joy by being both a journey of self improvement and a way to regularly keep contact and spend time with my closest friends... Bowling is beautiful in the way that it is both a personal experience and a social experience simultaneously... It started with rented shoes and house balls and being excited to break 100 while having a night out and drinks with friends... Then you and your friends learning and growing individually, yet together all the same... Your friends and teammates get to share in and witness your personal growth at the sport and you the same for them. Encouraging each other, challenging each other, and that bond of comradery is something you look forward to every week... Bowling brings much joy to my life because I get to work on bettering myself and have a environment to share my passion for the sport with my friends and as we get older and our lives go off where they may be... Bowling is the bond that brings us back together

There are numerous ways that bowling has brought me joy. For one, it's a lifetime sport which I was fortunate to start when I was young. As such, I have friends whom I met through bowling decades ago, and are still friends to this day (whether or not they bowl). Also, it's been great to accomplish milestone achievements over time - first 100 game, first 200 game, first 300 game, etc. Heck, last night I picked up the 7-9 for the first time ever! Even after 40+ years of bowling, it was exciting to have another "first". How many other sports can we say that about after competing for that long? Lastly, it's been a lot of fun. Bowling IS fun, even if we are competing at higher levels. We can still find joy in achieving new accomplishments, in watching others achieve their goals, and just having a good time socializing with friends.
