First solo overnight backpack to Spectacle Lake. Won’t be my last :) Hike Dates: August 15-16, 2020 Trail Information: www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/s...
Thanks for sharing this video. Spectacle is up there as one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. I've been to the lake once before but from a different route. I think I will try this same route. Looks like you had a good trip. Cheers!
@@karahikes I came from the PCT. A few years back I hiked the Snoqualmie to Stevens PCT section. When I saw Spectacle Lake from the PCT, I had to make the detour to check it out. It was mid-day so I only stopped for lunch and a swim. Next time, I'll have to camp. BTW, what camera are you using to shoot your videos?
When I hiked it - no. I don’t think that’s changed. But finding a good tree to hang your food might be a little tricky. Bear can makes it easy, minus the extra weight and bulk carrying it your pack.
4:20, thank you Jesus!
Great video. I've done Cooper and Pete lake, Spectacle is on the list for this year. :) Subscribed to see more Washington hikes.
Nice! Those are great hikes. I will be posting more Washington hikes soon.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's such a beautiful lake. When you hiked it did you take the Mineral Creek trail?
