If the titans have a clash at the end, I can see it mirroring the intro of deception where onaga returns and wipes them out. As for who he'll take over, it's probably someone we don't expect. Baraka is kind of easy to pick, but ed boon wants us to be surprised.

@bioticgod4940 the original onaga was stronger than the deception version. They also have aerial combos in this game. I hope as a boss, he has stupid strong aerial combos. I hope he has 2 kameos too maybe a dragon king army soldier and a reptilian creature that are both boss only kameos. Maybe he can throw both kameos at the player at the same exact time. I want him to be super hard to beat and his hard.

He doesn’t necessarily have to be the main character. It just says he’s being guided by Damashi. That does confirmed we as the player will be controlling him.

Yes! In the leaked script there is also a reference to a Titan Kitana.
Deadly Alliance Did had a Konquest mode and it also had the Krypt mode...Ed Boon stated that the Krypt is not coming back to MK1 so the only thing I see that would make sense if They Bring back a MK Deception Konquest mode with Chest scattered around the map to unlock Stages, Alternate Costumes or Even Characters.
Im sure the deadly alliance will be the villains of this game. The leaker said the end would be a clash of Titans and we know 3 already Liu Kang, Kitanna and Shang Tsung. We also know Kitanna is most likely a good Titan because she kills Shang Tsungs corrupted Kombat Kids in the leaks. Liu Kang and Kitanna would destroy Shang as it would be 2 Titans and timelines vs 1, a clear imbalance. However if their was a 4th and evil Titan it would level the playing field. Quan Chi is Dlc (as well as Shang Tsung). Ed boon said that Shang Tsung would be one of the villains and considering The leaks also say Domashi is leading Shang Tsung on a quest and in the Lin Quei trailer we even see the Undead Soldiers of Onaga that Shang Tsung AND Quan Chi needed eachother to resurrect. The 3 main Villains are Shang Tsung Quan Chi and Domashi/Onaga.

I still don’t like the soft looking scorpion and sub zero they just look so bland right now.
I’m sure they have skins to counter that eventually. It seems like they are going for a very basic look since they are technically rebooting the series.
Just cant accept kuai liang is scorpion. How did he get fire ability. It should be hanzo.
I’m guessing it has to do with this new “sorcery”, “magic” and “mage” lore they’re showing. Rain is a mage, he does sorcery, and Smoke does magic. Don’t know if that’s the same as the supernatural abilities that Sub-zero and Scorpion have.
@@JackyLegz That part also confused me considering Cryomancy was a power passed down genetically, so seeing Kuai wield fire powers felt confusing. But now that you mention it, Rain was said to be a sorcerer and Smoke apparently got his powers with magics as well. It seems a lot of focus will be put into the more fantasy aspect of the franchise in this timeline.
Would make sense If havic Would be raku then become havic at the end Or close to the end of the game by memory correctly. When you were able to play as rayku? Or maybe it was a comic or red.

I would love to see Shujinko again, but I think at the most we are going to get him as a Kameo character. But I have my fingers crossed for a fully playable character for Shujinko.

I don't know how I feel about the ending of the story. Kinda sucks and makes Mortal Kombat 1 not a complete reboot. The concept of titans is garbage, they're said to be above The One Being and the elder gods yet both were the only beings that were present before time and existence itself. Titans are a literal retcon to everything we know about Mortal Kombat. I hope that sometime after the leak NRS decided not to go with this ending and leave them in MK11
I’m not a fan of Titans much either to be honest, but let’s see how they develop the story and lore.
I actually want something new. NRS is bad at writing but a slightly different story is far more interesting than Reboot Lite.

I really don't care about outside non-explored mk characters like Havik, but I do hope that this time around, there's more of a payoff for each character and there relationship with others (Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Kitana and Mileena) and not just another ending of "Alright, that's the game. Come back next time!" Because that's the only energy the previous 3 endings gave.

@@kalepzazueta7890 It's not that I want classics reused relentlessly, I'm open to new characters, so long as they're actually explored properly. Ppl love bringing up older characters who didn't have much to them and flex them out just because (Ashra, Fujin, Havik etc). If those characters who keep getting brought up and actually were explored for their potential and written better then sure. But if they don't have potential, and they aren't actually explored or introduced properly, then why should I care about them? Just to bring them up and flex that they exist?

@@kalepzazueta7890 I just disagree, alot of characters have potential, but they all range from a low starting point to a high one, regardless of being changed. and another part of mk is theres so many characters, 2d, 3d and current so u can't expect EVERY character to have a deep dive like that. Further more, potential alone isn't enough for a character to be included and relevant in the grand scheme of things. You and I could both come up with hundreds of different things for each 3d character after assessing their "potential" but it's what's done with said characters that count as well as how much potential they started with. Which is why I stand by what I say about alot of 3d characters who have little potential.

Very good point. But that doesn’t necessarily mean Liu has to be the protagonist. He can take a secondary role to his champions. Much like Raiden did. If Liu was the protagonist again, it would pretty much be the same MK11 story.
I really don't like Hanzo Hasashi being completely erased out from being Scorpion and Kuai Liang taking the mantle of Scorpion. It just feels wrong.
After the revenge plot Hanzo doesn’t have anything to do and he’s not really integral to anyone else’s story, better to leave him in the past imo

Tired of the same villains. 11 was a chance for them to be creative with a villain but they fucked that all the way up with Kronika and now we gotta see Shang Tsung again!! Just make Onaga the big threat. He should be the stand alone villain. That’s how big of threat he and his army was in the original timeline. Thats cool and all but what I don't understand is why are they so anti konquest like deception? I think a new age rpg like mode would make more people play Mortal Kombat simply because of that appeal alone. Deception was one of my favorite MK games simply because of konquest
Nightwolf and Sonya Blade are now my favorite characters because Chae-Lim from "King of Fighters" made me become fan of Taekwondo sports too. But I like Onaga and Blaze to be final bosses in Mortal Kombat.

They could be changing things up with the names, but if they are sticking to original MK lore (at least when it comes to character names) then Scorpion has to be Kuai Liang, in his bio on the MK1 website it says that Scorpion and Sub-Zero share the same father... and Smoke's bio says that he is an orphan (which is the same back story he has always had).
