I really hope that this Story Expansion will play out similar to Battle World from the MCU. Titan Havik creates a huge battle that pits all timelines against each other, in the end Lui Kang and maybe the other Titans we saw in the original Story mode defeat Titan Havik but not before all timelines other than Lui Kang's timeline had been destroyed. This way, the story actually has stakes and allows for the next MK game to be a more contained story and not have to deal with this multiverse BS a thousand times...

I think this is gonna be the most darkest Silent Hill story that Team Silent wanted to tell before being disbanded

If silent hill 2 remake is developed by Bloober team and they make an interactive movie/game similar to their other titles like the medium and observer etc then they would manage to completely ruin this franchise😊 bloober team has yet to make a game that has actual combat mechanics so far we have seen interactive movie where the player moves the main character and selects items and reads through them and we see cut scenes🎉and repeat

Any Silent Hill game that doesn't have Hideo working on it isn't a TRUE Silent Hill game. Needs to have Toyama and Kojima both working on SH. I'm not excited for any of these "new" SH games...

At this point I just want the franchise to die. Short message, long message, who cares? Leave it alone, devs. You're only making it worse. It's nothing but a name recognition, which is shallow and dumb.

this all actually leaked way back when the Dusk Golem info came out, almost word for word, so I dont know if we can take any of this at face value because the self-harm stuff was seen as incredibly tacky and railed against in the places I saw it being discussed. Silent Hill has only barely ever touched on these themes and only really ever in Silent Hill 2 -- Konami's need to backport James Sunderland's trauma into the overall themes of the series feels really really really bad to me; first it was Pyramid Head being shoehorned into films and games the character cannot physically exist in because James isn't in the story, now with Ascension and Short Message's focus on suicidal ideation in its protags. the fully stupid KoRnification of Silent Hill has clearly not stopped

So it's just The Room.. But P.T-ified?

All the Subtlety and nuisance Silent Hill games had (Even Downpour and Homecoming had) is all but dead. Imagine booting up SH2 and the game tells you to seek help if your suicidal. Myself and pretty much anyone that has been that depressed before knows damn well seeing a message like that will not help. I would assume and hope mostly adults play SH so putting stuff like that personally feels like an insult to my intelligence. Townfall and REMAKE might be the only 2 that can keep the beauty in Subtlety and nuisance. And I mean wtf does Germany have to do with the town of Silent Hill? Seriously.
