IN MY OPINION , JOHNNY WINTER WAS THE GREATEST WHITE BLUESMAN OF ALL AMERICAN HISTORY. AN AUTHENTIC BLACK SOUL ALBINO BLUESMAN.✌😎 R.I.P. 💐🙏🙏🙏🙏👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Indeed, Johnny is of The Greatest!!! BUT.... know that "THE COLOR" OF THE "SOUL" Of The One Who Sings/Plays/Writes THE BLUES..... is neither Black... nor White.
Discovered Johnny Winter when I was a wee Wolf Pup via the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970, which was my first LIVE music album. I was instantly a BELIEVER, and the rest... is His Story! Love You, JW!!! 🐺
Richie Blackmore spoke praise for Johnny. He is everything that people say and more. He soars with his guitar and takes you for the ride. His work is in our mind and heart ! ❤forever.
What a talent!!! Pure Blues Rock from the bottom of his heart!! Of course a blessing man, Gush thank you for let him share his butter fingers blues. Voice and guitar amazing!!!
The original sleeve notes for this disc contained the following comment," Before the session there was Johnny and his guitar, during the session Johnny became the guitar." I've never forgotten that, amazing musician, still makes me want to jump around, just something about the energy.
It's my own fault, one of many Great Tunes by Johnny Winter, first saw him at the Autostade in Montreal in 1969 with Tull,Airplane,Mountain to name a few.I think we paid ten bucks for an all day concert. Wonderful memories !!
Wow you definitely got your money's worth my friend wish I was there little bit before my time but thank God for UA-cam so I can listen to what you guys in the better generation had for music
I love reading everybody's comments and how they love what this guy brought to them on a personal level we all have one thing in common no matter how this guy's music hit you we all know what good music is lol stay safe
Mike Steede By some called the only White man that play like a Black with the same feel.Outstanding.Like he said/sang on Point Blanck "Life is hard and then you die"RIP Johnny
A MASTER of the delta blues.....among many talents....and 1, of the TOP TEN MUSICIANS, that changed rock and roll history, with a style of covering, not many people can duplicate. Absolutely a favorite of mine, although not for all, his performances were never dull, or boring. total excitement, was had...for all.RIP......Johnny........you will never be forgotten, in the minds of the mass'.
Warm-hearted shout out to the always beloved and highly respected delta Blues ambassador with soul, grand vocal range cigarettes and whiskey. Worldy sophistication the gravely raspy voices of rock and jazz as well as Dr John, Rod Stewart, and Tom Petty. Like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata effervescent and exuberant. God Bless you and family.

Можно сказать смелый блюз, как хороший бальзам или девясиловое вино! Как то все в меру у него! Крепыш одним словом! Сразу делаем запись для дома- для семьи!
One of the most underrated guitar greats of all time.
A friend of my sisters got to play bass for him for one show. His bass guitarist couldn't play that night. Halifax NS.
I have been a true to Johnny's music since 1979 when I first introduced & will never stop
The fact this guys master tapes were all probably lost in the Universal Studios fire makes me cry. One of the great tragedies.
Johnny Winter And Live. Probably the greatest album of the Era. I've turned on three generations to his music. All diehard fans.
