The Kemper Profiler is well established as an essential tool for many guitarists. The biggest benefit is that it can profile the sound of literally any amp which you can then play through whenever and wherever you want.
In a studio with some gorgeous old vintage amps? Profile them and take the sound home with you, or on stage.
Got an amp that just has a unique sound that you love? Profile it and save yourself taking that heavy expensive amp with you everywhere.
When I first started using Kemper I was blown away by the sound and how accurately it profiled real tube amps. However I really missed my old Vox AC15 Tube Amp and Ashdown ABM Bass amp - so I decided to profile them. This would mean I can use them wherever I wanted and also recording is way more convenient (and quiet) compared to cranking those old tube amps!
In this video I take you through the full process of profiling both these amps with the Kemper Profiler and getting the profiles to sound identical to the real amp.
It's simple, easy to follow and you're pretty much guaranteed to get stunning results.

I noticed that when you were setting up to profile, you plugged your guitar into the input. Does that have to be done?

ive been working on live gigs in the last ten years with real amps transistors and modelers. modelers are fine for backing but in the money time the solo sounds small compressed and lacks the presence and warmth of real tubes transformers and speakers, great if you want to get lost with 400 options that might work for you and might not, who knows? it was created by a keyboard player, snapshots mean zero flexibility.if you think it sounds identical you have no ears and no common sense.
