To the person who wanted Jesus to appear and prove himself: the first thing Adam and Eve did after they sinned was cover themselves up and hide. They didn’t want to see God. Later, when prophets were given a glimpse of God, they cowered in utter fear. When Jesus ( who is God) appeared without His glory, the people ( including you and I) crucified Him. Mankind doesn’t really seek God. He seeks us. He’s seeking you now!

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.
👆There's a reason the first sentence above preceeds the second.

@@pyrology101it's written that no man has seen God yes, but it's also written that Jesus Christ revealed God The Father in Himself. So if you see Jesus Christ you can see and know The Father without literally seeing The Father in His own Glorified Spirit. You can't just take one verse and run with it without the other. I don't know your intent for saying that though.

At 30:34 "I've been searching for truth." Cliffe responds. "Have you read the Gospels?' "No" But you want God to be your personal Jenie. God is not a butler. He has left more than enough evidence that He exists. The entire universe and its order and design cry out that some type of God exists. The fact that it had a beginning. There will never be enough evidence with some people.

@@before_Jesus_was_I_AM That’s funny, I don’t recall saying I was “better” than anyone or even implying I was. You’re using your preconceived notions about other christians to justify judging me. If you don’t want to have one or rather not “waste” your time replying then you probably shouldn’t leave a comment on the internet. I simply assumed it was a waste of time to you since you didn’t even respond to anything I said. No hate btw. It’s ok to have an opinion and want to share that with others. No one is forcing anything on anyone. I quite literally can’t force anything on you… there’s a screen and I believe in free will.

If anything I’m lowering myself as any man should in the presence of their Father, of their God, and of their creator. I don’t know what you don’t comprehend. All human life is precious because it was created by God, our Father that loves us. Knowing that our creators love is what makes me worthy hits different. Doesn’t make me feel better than anyone. These older vids are often irritated white Atheist bros trying to bring Cliffe down and look intellectual. Even though these people are very rarely "proven wrong" by Cliffe, there is an incredibly value to hearing these opposing views. Cliffe sets an example for us by being willing to listen to these questions and always respond in a thoughtful and respectful manner. The truth is that the world will constantly push these difficult questions upon us, but I think videos like this prepare us to face that confusion with faith rather than hysteria.

"Appear at my side right now."
    1) The heavens (and the earth) are telling the glory of God, so that we are without excuse.
    2) God is doing so for this guy, through Cliffe. If it is true as the Bible says that humanity is the pinnacle of God's creation, then it stands to reason that God would prefer in most cases to use this sharpest knife in his drawer to communicate with us and "appear" to us.
    3) King Herod took a similar attitude as this guy when he had a real life audience with Jesus. He wanted to be dazzled by signs and miracles, he wanted to see a Vegas magic show and spectacle. But he had no interest in the substance of what Jesus was about.
What did he get from Jesus? Complete silence. A few years on, he was eaten alive by worms.
For anyone like this kid, where is your heart? Do you want God to show himself to you in a way that makes him just so much more matter and energy for you to manipulate to your own ends, thereby making you the real god?
Or do you really want to know him?

The death and resurrection are a pinnacle point in Christ and our faith in him, but it is his way of life that is evident and shows the truth behind the resurrection. Be careful on stating listening closely to someone who resurrects from the dead. Book of Revelation reference.

I think what he says is perfectly understandable. Listening closely doesn’t automatically equate to believing in what is being said. Rather paying very close attention to what is being said in its entirety. I think Cliffe would have the sense to compare what a person coming back from the dead would say against what Jesus says.

In this scenario, listening to the risen one would be apropos to finding out if they represented God, were God, or were of the enemy. If we follow Jesus Christ, having accepted him as our Lord, we can trust that no matter whom we meet and what we hear we will continue to follow Jesus Christ to heaven.
You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me,” declares the LORD.

      -2 Timothy 3:13
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

For the person who questions why God doesn’t just appear right then and there so they can believe, and when told to seek the truth by reading the Bible, they clearly state they won’t this shows a lack of interest in seeking either truth or knowledge, even for their own understanding or to argue their point better. The laziness reaches astonishing levels of disinterest. It seems like they simply don’t care at all.
Disinformation and ignorance and I include myself in this for many topics blind us completely and make us unwilling to listen to or seek the truth. The best way to resolve doubts is by searching for answers yourself. As Clief says, "Don’t believe me, go find the answers and investigate yourself." And yet, people still don’t do it, which is quite ironic.
We have time for everything, but people just don’t feel like it - that’s the truth. Until they reach a point in life where they need Him. Something life has shown me is that, at some moment, everyone will seek God, and He will answer them.

I think that the last girl who spoke was referring to the idea that Lucifer is referred to as the Dawn bringer and that when you have sinned and the negative implications that come with that sin bring understanding. It “dawns” on you that that was wrong and why not to do it. But I agree that it is far better to stay on the straight and narrow rather than to have to experience that turmoil of having to learn after sin.

I'm always wondering about what happened to those Christians who fought and killed each other? I mean I'm not talking about small personal sins but big ones with other Christians. What happened to Joan of Arc who believed she obeyed God's command against England. Did she end up in heaven or hell? What about the US Civil War? Christians vs Christians, killing each other. I'm sure both believed Jesus Christ and accepted him as their savior. Who went to heaven or hell? And so many other conflicts with Christians vs Christians or Christians vs others but did horrible things in the name of the God? While they sincerely believed in God and accepted Jesus as their savior.

    • @coltonstevens4339
      @coltonstevens4339 4 місяці тому

God looks at their heart. Did they genuinely fight for a righteous cause, or was there spiritual deception to lead believers into a cause that was unbiblical. Either way they are responsible for their choices. God allowed Rahab to lie to the authorities in Jericho about the two Israeli spies in order to usher Israel into their promised land. If a lesser sin like lying to the Nazis that you are hiding Jews leads to the safety of those people, God honors the morally higher outcome out of something that in any other context would be sin.
It is possible to take sinful actions that lead to death of you or others and still be in Christ when those actions were taken. If you made a regular habit of killing people just out of pure entertainment, that's not a heart that God honors. But if you were killing people for a certain cause that you didn't believe was wrong and it showed by benefiting the freedom of slaves or the freeing of people in concentration camps during the Holocaust, God would consider that just and righteous. I think of the Black American slave Nat Turner and the slave rebellion, he rose up to fight the evil White slave masters that were making his life and other African slaves a living hell. He was a preacher and he saw the signs and wonders in nature as provision from God to advance His Kingdom, including starting a rebellion after a solar eclipse in 1831. I believe for the safety and the welfare of the enslaved Black Americans on plantations who were under oppression, Nat Turner was called by God to help free those who God would have ultimately wanted freed. At the end of they day, it is the Lord who claims ultimate vengeance and He can use humanity as a tool to accomplish it.
For those who claim to be in Christ and supported the institution of slavery, God will judge accordingly. There were many Christians with spiritual blindspots like believing elements of racism or sexism or discrimination of any kind is okay, and God still forgave them if they came to genuinely understand how wrong it is, whether in this life or in front of the Throne of Judgement after they died.
