Disarm?!? Two things I have learned about Cliffe in the five years I have watched his videos:
      1) Cliffe (or Stuart) has NEVER stated a _true proposition._ Not once. He only states _baseless and unfalsifiable_ assertions _emphatically._
If anyone disagrees, please _quote_ Cliffe (or Stuart) stating ONE _demonstrably_ true proposition, and please identify the video and timestamp where he mentions it. I will gladly consider it and respond.
      2) In the five years I have watched his videos, Cliffe (or Stuart) has never presented a SOUND argument in regard to the position of atheism, the historicity of Jesus, or the reality of the Christian god.
If anyone disagrees, please indicate where Cliffe presents such a SOUND argument, again by title of video and time stamp, convert the argument into a syllogistic form (if you need help with this, I will gladly assist) and I will consider it and agree it is SOUND, or demonstrate otherwise.

Christianity began spreading around 33 AD, approximately 300 years before the Roman Empire officially adopted it in 312 AD. The rapid growth of Christianity during these centuries occurred despite intense persecution, not because of imperial power. Additionally, even if an empire later spread Christianity by the sword, that approach contradicts the core teachings of Jesus, which emphasize love, peace, and voluntary belief. It's essential not to confuse the actions of the empire with the teachings of Jesus. ❤️ ✌️

What’s his main flaw in these?

    • @stephanlasley5781
      @stephanlasley5781 4 місяці тому +4

@@domcruise274 I think the “flaw” he’s mentioning is most likely just a disagreement about how to address certain issues. Like with the problem of evil debate, there are many ways to tackle that issue and cliffe has his own way of addressing it and I have my own way. We were created as individuals in Christ to serve Christ in our own way. Paul writes about this in his letters to the Corinthians. Our walk with god is so specific and specially made for us that it can often times be hard for us to even comprehend a different way of looking at things. Paul addresses this point be talking about how we should desire to be single but if we have passion then we should get married lest we fall to sin (1 Corinthians 7:1-5) and then his views on marriage is a little further in (1 Corinthians 7:6-7)
So what I’m saying is, I don’t think cliffe was “flawed” in his manner of teaching these individuals, but I do think that it was different from how this person might’ve handled it.
I think this part goes without argument however, cliffe is still very much so a flawed individual, we all are. If we weren’t we wouldn’t need God’s abstractly boundless grace. I’m just so happy to see fellow Christians getting out there and really getting into the word and studying. I think we’ve come so far that now we’re all able to discuss the semantics of our beliefs rather than just trying to save ourselves. It truly shows how much love and passion we have for God and that’s the part we need not forget. Have a blessed day reader ❤

The real answer is love. Without God, there is no love. If you ask a human being if he has felt some kind of love in any form or manner at one point in his life, then that is the evidence that God exists. Because human comprehension will not be able to define love because it is the ultimate thing that God has only created and innate in Him. I would say that if someone asks me if God exists, then right on the spot I will tell that God exists because human experiences love.

Man, I truly appreciate your patience to answer all these questions. I really like your command of the word, and your near autistic understanding of the details (not an insult, coming from an autie).
I have never "believed" in God, though.
I believed there was no God.
I had a near death experience, with a full life review, including the parts that haven't happened yet.
I wrote it off as a hallucination for 3 years, as what I was shown about my future just kept happening, EXACTLY like the God I believed didn't exist, showed me it would.... culminating in a HUGE long shot, being befriended by a personal hero of conscience, who would offer to help with the mission God charged me with, without being asked or even being told about my experience.
....and I now KNOW there is a God.
It was you and John Lovell, that convinced me that, that God, was Yeshua.
I was a LaVeyan Satanist when I died, because I was raised by a hypocritical Christian narcissist, who used me as their scapegoat.
I was treated like I WAS the devil... so it was only natural that I would come to identify most closely WITH the devil.
The lord let me see my dead father, for the purpose of forgiving him.
Then, when I told some Christian friends about my experience, and it didn't match up exactly to their imagination, they tried asking leading questions ("Are you sure it wasn't more like x?") to get me to change my story. However, when I refused, because I'm not a liar, they started claiming I was deceived by a demon.
Well, if it HAD been a demon, he would've had me dead to rights. Why would a demon want me to forgive my father?
Why would a demon take a man who was vehemently anti-christ, who was completely Godless and selfish, and heal him, convince him that God was real, and send me back to the world, on fire for the Lord, growing more selfless by the day, and make me promise not to seek followers based around my experience..... oh, and charge me with bringing a natural plant remedy for addiction, to popularity here in the states (the mission Barry Cooper, a personal hero of conscience of mine, offered to help me with, live on his show, WITHOUT KNOWING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE), to help "wake up his people"?
What would a demon have to gain from this?
I could've been in hell right now!
Instead, I'm living a happy life, and enjoying a personal relationship with Christ.
I think they were just having a hard time accepting that he chose to show himself to a Satanist, instead of them..... but isn't that kind of Christ's style? When he walked the earth, who did he surround himself with? Was it the priestly, holy rolling crowd? No, it was drunkards and prostitutes. Was it the rich and well-to-do? No, it was the poor and humble!
Here's a strange thing I got from this.... ever since I've come back, I feel the Lord's presence, wherever it is.... that church, had two pastors.... one that preached the Gospel of Love and Forgiveness, with some warnings about the consequences of not following it...
While the other, was always turning beet red in the face, from screaming his fire and brimstone warnings, that sounded less like he was concerned for people's souls, and more like he was trying to convince himself that the people he doesn't like will be tortured for eternity.
Whenever the first of the two would speak, I would feel that tingly feeling all over, like God was holding me (as I had during my experience), while whenever pastor 2 would speak, I would get a cold chill. I used to be a heroin addict and the best way I can describe it, is when I here someone preach the Gospel of Love, with love, the feeling is akin to getting the fix.... while when it is preached insincerely, it feels like withdrawal.
I've taken to leaving wherever I'm at, whenever I get that feeling. So, I've left that church, while continuing my friendship with the first pastor, whom I consider a friend and a good man.
I recently moved and am looking for a new Lutheran church... as I do like to question what I read, as questioning is what led me first, away from "faith" and then into knowledge.
When I was a kid, I had a hard time believing in God, because the people around me that did, were simply cruel to me.... and no matter how much I prayed, my family situation just got worse and worse, and was completely beyond my control.
Also, the version of God I was taught, after meeting the real deal, just seem like pure blasphemy, and profaning the name of God.

Praying for the kid that said he grew up in the Southern Baptist Church.
Hopefully, thecseed was planted then. What he needs now is to STUDY, for himself (and with others)
to come to know the TRUTH of Christ.
Cliffe ripped into him, but then fell back. It was sweet to see them shake hands.
I think that young man was like many of us - told to go to church, but maybe didn't get the why. Even in the best of well meaning families. He may not have sat under a Pastor who not only PREACHED but also TAUGHT - like what Cliffe is doing.
I'm so grateful that my family are believers, raised in the church, etc. But I had to find Jesus for myself.
As a youngster, I loved going to church. I know that's not the case for everyone. When I left home, I always had a sense of the right/wrong according to my upbringing. As I got older, I knew I had to make a choice - to live for Jesus.
Gas it been easy? No! But I'm so glad to know Him and am humbled.
I pray this young man found out the same. Hallelujah 🎉
Thanks for these videos. They're very inspiring and helpful on how to help those who still need to make a decision.

Thank you and your cameras brother 🙏🏽 I have learned so much and you’re one of the main reasons I have done my own research on my faith. I love the read the gospel yourself. It’s not about brainwashing but, see for yourself. Many people are quick to dismiss others and things against their own beliefs, culture, religion. I was not raised Christian nor was I pressured. Even after becoming Christian I had doubts and I worked through them… Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life!

I tried to be my own god and I didn’t do very well. Struggled with identity problems and destructive behaviors for a decade that led me down a path of despair.
After discovering Isaiah 43, I’ve decided to face the facts that I am a sinner that needed God’s grace and forgiveness. In an instant, my social anxiety was eliminated and my empathy for others has transformed.
My advice to those having those same past experiences to strive to be Christlike. All the mysticism that is hard for our minds to grasp makes sense a little later.

Thanks Cliffe for create/sharing your videos, they answer a lot of basic questions and doubts that we all have, mostly due to our lack of actually studying the bible and other relevant history. As some people you talk with indicated, we don't know what to believe. This is because there is so much false garbage out there about the bible, it is great you can get us on a path of what and how to study it. As you pointed out some people gave Christianity a bad name by taking slaves and other evil things, this is mostly what made me lose any belief in God until recently, but I am starting to understand it all clearer and am trying to believe again.

My question is are they reading to disprove the Bible, are they reading to truly understand it or lying about reading it. I think a good majority are dishonest about reading the entire Bible.
