I need a Manix2 in my life. I think I’ll go with the G10 scales though. Lightweight is fine but I like my PM2 with G10 and am fine with the extra heft.
@rthanyouthink2646 hahaha. While I did find it odd, I'm not trying to emasculate you in any way just to be clear. If it's not comfortable for you, then it isn't! Peace and love breh and thanks for the video. Really excited that these are probably going to all move to screws instead of pins. i'm definitely gonna get one when I have some more money, just don't know what steal yet.
@@jojojaykay I worked construction for a good long while there so I’m not stranger to laughing at myself for being nitpicky haha. I always appreciate the comments brotha, well worth the buy.
Actually I bought a couple black bd1n manix’s in 22” that had screws. Don’t know why they didn’t do all of them since then. I picked up a BHQ M4 manix satin and it is pinned 🙄 think I’m gonna drill it and stick the blade in a g10 model.
Great video. Okay, are my eyes playing tricks on me or is the 15v version you have much bigger than the S110V LW!? Tha scales and even the blade look larger on the 15V, but maybe it's the camera angle. Based on the stats from Blade HQ and the Spyderco website these two versions are supposed to be very similar in physical dimensions.
It’s FRCP. I guess co polymer vs fiberglass reinforced nylon🤷♂️ kinda the same I guess. And that’s a really good thing 😉 Lynch NW clip is better. Just because where it fits in the scales it’s actually flat and not circular. IMO
In all honesty, I’m not 100% sure because I’ve seen a lot of sources say they’re very similar but I’ve also seen a handful of sources that have said that 15 v does have better edge retention
They're not different, it's all ther same crap. Spyderco's motto is "A sucker is born with every sprint run" Also shuuuuuuuuuuut up about the "Different tasks in my life" It's a knife. You're justification for getting the same thing over again is poor. Just say you want to collect them and quit being dense about it.
I've got the rex 45 manix 2 LW from gp knives and its been great so far!
I have the native 5 lw in Rex 45 non coated. Absolutely love it haha

It’s worth it fs
If you can grab an exclusive or the s110v version. They have the skeletonized liners.👋
I just bought the Manix 2 light weight but still watching this review to make sure I made the right choice, LOL.
@@Kaesemesser0815 a few months later, a lot more carry, I can guarantee you made the right choice!
@@cheaperthanyouthink2646 I really hope so, thanks
As far as i know, standoff and barrel spacer are interchangeable
S90v actually has a bit better edge retention and toughness compared too s110v. S90v is actually VERY close too 15v but way more stainless.
I think the pinky gimping is great
I may just have delicate calloused hands haha

Is 15 V better then MAXAMET for staying sharp longer.

Really depends on what you use your blade for
Greate video.
Thank you very much
S110v has a bit less edge retention.
I can’t help but love both steals because they both are wildly good with edge retention.
@@cheaperthanyouthink2646 Rgr that 👍🏻
