Thank you Andy for giving me the opportunity to test drive this beautiful piece . Nomos is definitely a brand to keep an eye on. I really enjoyed my time with it . With regards to doing reviews i'd have to think about it .
Seeing this NOMOS on your wrist in the video a couple of times, I think it fits you perfectly. It has a 'vintage' look, without being vintage. The long extended lugs add to that vintage look. See Polerouters and vintage Omega watches; same long lugs with gap between the head and the strap. If you were more local to me I'd try it and probably buy it, but won't from this distance as it'd incur import taxes. Sad! I don't care what you wear for your videos. The lounge location is good and your enthusiasm is contagious. Have a Happy Easter.
mark percival Glad you enjoyed the video Mark!! It is a true beauty, I feel like I'd probably prefer a vintage Omega with some exotic patina, I feel like I may source something like that for myself this year. Happy easter to you too mate!!
If I ever get a proper dress watch it would be this Orion. But since I don't need to dress up for my job anymore (over my career we've gone from wearing mandatory three-piece suits to today's jeans and Polo shirts) my opportunity to wear one is close to zero. Still, I like this watch very much and appreciate what Nomos has been doing. Nice review, James!
I have a 35mm Tangente and it looks great. My wrist is about the same as yours. I think the thin bezel makes the dial appear larger. Also, why say "for the price"? Isn't it just a great dress watch period (full stop if you prefer)?
I love that it is manual wind. I am so sick of automatics. Also, your funny British concept of distance is hilarious. You can easily see your father. With the UK's amazing rail network it would be no trouble at all.
I'm not really a fan of NOMOS. That is probably the only Bauhaus design that I may adore because of the baton style hour indices. I'm not a fan of their other watches that have alternating Arabic numeral and baton indices.

I have the 35mm on my 7 inch wrist and works well due to its longer then nornmal lug to lug

Lee K Glad you enjoyed the review Lee. It is a truly great dress watch and it felt right at home on my wrist when wearing a suit.

Love manual winding movement more than automatic
