I was still thumbing through a few things and I said, "OK, just a moment". Literally in about 4 seconds, he said again, "drivers license and insurance", except louder. At about that time I had my insurance and drivers license both in my fingers and passed it to him and said, "Here you go". At the time, I didn't think much of it, but later I heard about cases where cops have done this and messed people up for not getting it right then. YES, there's a problem.
This cop is unhinged, he should be substance abuse tested, he has some serious issues. The other cop made sure and stopped Schimmel for saying to much.

This officer has had problems before with another department. Seems he has an anger and excessive force issue with people. It seems his body cam does not get turned on until after he has started his rhetoric. He was sent for training due to another similar issue with another agency. This officer is currently on unpaid suspension. But he is being paid by the Police union so there is never any unpaid leave for criminal officers. This officer is trying to turn in his paperwork for leaving the department. In the 2 years that this ifficer has been working he has had several issues with his TEMPER.

It seems to me that Officer Thomas had a duty to protect Vivian and other citizens from Officer Schimmel. Instead, he chose to protect the Thin Blue Line.
Unless this girl sues the police dept and the joker who pulled her over, nothing is likey to become of it. Its also troubling that the police chief claimed there was nothing wrong with the video footage, combined with the Town Council wanting to push it out of the way. A civil rights attorney could teach them all what consequences are.

It would have been very simple to just show the copper ID receive a ticket and go home but instead she's going to jail where she deserves
