I have used the same decorations for almost 30 years. Some years I get a new decoration and some years I declutter some. My kids like when I put up the same stuff every year.
Some of our decorations date to my husband's grandparents. My own parents decluttered much of the tree decor I grew up with but luckily the Price family's old glass ornaments are very similar, and I love having a mix of ornaments that are up to 100 years old with newer ones we've chosen ourselves.
What great problem solving to add the star to the top BEFORE adding the last tier when assembling the tree. What an amazing gift you have to be able to paint your own seasonal decor. Merry Christmas !

I like Christmas crafts too...this year I'm making stars out of T.P. and paper towel rolls! (Easy to find the directions for that).

Thanks for the simple Christmas. That’s what I did this year I Decluttered a whole bunch of Christmas stuff and I kept the stuff that was sentimental and I think less is more. I’m gonna have to try the gingerbread houses merry Christmas and have a safe, healthy and happy new year.

We mostly have same Christmas decorations we’ve had for 50 years. Kids & grandkids love the tradition every year.
It's so nice to have decorations you can enjoy with your family each year.
Some of our decorations date to my husband's grandparents. My own parents decluttered much of the tree decor I grew up with but luckily the Price family's old glass ornaments are very similar, and I love having a mix of ornaments that are up to 100 years old with newer ones we've chosen ourselves.
