The cell shading should be subtle and on point for the price, especially with all the phenomenal artist that exist. I agree on the 2 waves of batman.. they're just off and the extra head doesn't fit the body. Aside from that, I simply appreciate McFarlane for giving us a 2nd chance to grab the collection. Hopefully he rerelase the ENTIRE roster, including Baby doll, Red Claw, Nostromos, Hugo Strange, Rupert Thorne and his assistant and many others.
I'd like to see them do re-releases for Talia, hope the Bane delay is not to long, Raa's Al Ghul, another Killer Croc, of course Poison Ivy when wave 3 Comes out, the build a figure from that wave depending on if it's canceled or if it's still delayed Maxie Zeus, they're making a Phantasm Figure, and a Shadow of The Bat Batgirl figure. hope a BTAS Catwoman at some point. There's just so many figures they could do if done well, hell re-release on stand-alone Harvey Bullock, Harley Quinn, a Renee Montoya,... There's so many options if they just do it well
I've only seen the goofy Batman with the goggles so far. My local Target has like 3 of them....and they've priced them all at nearly $40 each. Ack! I passed on the first animated series wave too due to similar pricing.
Nice review - I like the Blind as a Bat head for Batman (its surprising DC Direct didn't include that in their old expressions pack!) and Lock Up looks great - I know Bruce Wayne is the next BAF, hoping we get Red Claw, Ubu or Rupert Thorn as the next BAF. Also for Joker variants - a Jet Pack Joker (from Mask of the Phantasm) of "Flying Ace" Joker from "Harlequinade"
Though I dislike the idea of platinums in general. Especially with the mcfarlane has been doing them with figures that could/should have been there own releases. I agree this is a perfect use of the platinum. A figure that probably wouldn’t sell well on its own but will make a certain group of dedicated fans happy. P.S. next time you get to interact with mcfarlane and his team could you discuss the platinum situation
@@theotherguy21 No. Lots of these releases were previously released they have access to the old molds. They could have put Harley and no trench coat joker out first. The BAF's not were not released.
It’s been 4 months.. so apologies. It’s not Todd, it’s the WB. They now have a strict “no guns with out action figures” rule that’s just.. really dumb.
Don't like the cel shading at all by McFarlane Toys. I'll stick with the Kenner, DC Direct and DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series figures in my collection.
Lock-Up is great! 🎉

I'm always happy with more Hugo Strange merchandise. As it is, I own most of what exists already...
Love this channel and your videos. Especially Batman Animated Series. Keep up the great work.
They missed a real trick not marketing the different version of Gordon as "Urine Soaked Trench Coat With St. Patrick's Day Green Shirt" Gordon.
Amazing review!
Just realized that Gordon was popular reporter/Detective Tintin... That hair...😁
Just got all these on the target app for 20.99 each😮 couldnt pass any figs up at that price dude❤

Yeah I’d like them to do Anhtony Romulus AKA the Werewolf
Great review! I got the entire wave, aside from the platinum Gordon. I hope I can snag that soon!
Are there other vehicles for this line?

They have a wave 3 coming out. Do you think this series has a long term viability?
Sorry I’m a little confused are these already out to buy if so where ?
They are yeah. Target exclusive toy line. Good luck in the search!
I have Batman: The Animated Series on Gameboy and The Adventures of Batman and Robin on Super NES
@Toyshiz do we know when wave 3 with the BAF Bruce Wayne is going to be released with Hardac Batman,Bane,Ivy,Phantasm yet ?
Bruce Wayne wave should really be in august/September.

@@ToyShiz Awesome after I saw you post wave 4 at SDCC being Fall 2024 started to get nervous. Thank you sir
🆒 Lockup

How are some of these pinless?!?!
Is this Entire line just reissues?
Lock up is brand new
How do they release a Joker Mobile with a Joker that can't sit or a Harley Quinn to ride Shotgun? I don't understand why they do this.
Mcfarlane didn't make this they're just releasing what was canceled by the old dc direct
@@theotherguy21 No. Lots of these releases were previously released they have access to the old molds. They could have put Harley and no trench coat joker out first. The BAF's not were not released.
the Joker coming with so many hands and nothing to hold is one of the most frustrating and disrespectful things Mcfarlane has ever done

Bane would be a great BAF
Banes in wave 3
@@ToyShiz cool
I have an animated series batman that was just a regular DC multiverse figure. He's perfect. Makes those other newer figures look terrible.
Picked up the first series and couldn’t stand the awful “cel-shading” so I returned them all.
Then remove it. There are vids on how on YT. Robo formerly of TheFwoosh had a video on there that is perfect for showing you how.
I honestly think the shadowing is 🔥
@@FFFFPPPP do you have a link to the video? I cannot find it
@@budkin I think they all look fine except Batman and Robin. But I'd argue the cape on Batman ruins the figure more.
It’s not the worst but it’s overdone on Batman and Robin. The rest of the figures I don’t mind
There you go! Todd does it again with his no sense dumb decisions of figure releases.
No offence,I prefer Dc Collectibles than this, they are more accurate.
