I changed the music from ME3 with the one from ME2: "Suicide Mission".
It works pretty well and it's damn epic! :) - Фільми й анімація
"The suicide mission soundtrack turns anything you do in an epic cinematic scene" . Newton's 4th law.
Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest SOB in space
Reapers: Our numbers will darken the sky
Galaxy: Our numbers will light it up
Light it up to show those in the darkness, There is Hope
Love it.
There ya go, poetry!
What really happens!
Absolutely nothing but any viewer on Earth would be watching this and comment beautiful!
Glorious! Them get obliterated by a Round from a drednaught
*insert Citizen Kane clapping here*
When you saved the Rachni, had all squad member loyalty, nobody died on the collector base, cured the genophage, allied the Quarians and the Geth ending a war three hundred years in the making, saved your Virmire squadmate, go into the final battle with maxed out war assets, and brought the entire galaxy's fleets to Earth to exterminate some overenthusiastic galactic Roombas:
Lock and load gentlemen let’s get ourselves some Fried squid’s
"It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness; that is life."
A true manifestation of the "it's us or them" speech from ME2.
Just finished the Legendary Edition. Used Spotify to play Suicide Mission in the background while fighting on Earth. It really ads a good atmosphere to those final battles against Reaper ground troops. Also it feels like the real suicide mission to me.
Oh my God. I MUST HAVE THIS AS A MOD. I was so disappointed that the SM was not in 3 at all, and I think it fits here better than what's actually there.
It’s definitely so amazing to listen to. But it’s also poetic in a way. This music was played when Shepard and his crew faced the collectors. Now it’s playing when the entire galaxy charges towards the Reapers! So many reasons why this is the greatest music edit ever!!!
It's hard to beat the ME2 suicide mission soundtrack. This is much more epic. THe original had no music during the fight for some reason :P
I loved this edit! It’s also poetic as well. It made me cheer for Shepard and team when they were taking on the collectors alone. Now this music is making me cheer for the entire galaxy facing the reapers! Kinda poetic to me.
Holy shit, this goes well with the cutscene! I think it's even better than the original.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the sound effects Bioware did for the jumping in and the cannons. Sound like there is real weight behind those shots
Well, it's official, this is the better version of this scene. I love the soundtrack here, it works even better than it did initially.
i prefer the original song, this fanfare kills the tone of "the last battle of our species - we face extinction" thing.
this soundtrack is way worse here
lokibau I dunno, I think it’s really fitting! In ME2, this song was played when Shepard and his crew faced the Collectors alone. I find it poetic that the same song is played when every species unites to face the Reapers!
The original was EPIC, this is definitely worse. Completely takes the elation out of what you're seeing happen
@@timblake1989
Not really, not only does that music fit because of it's name "Suicide Mission", the whole fleet against the Reapers IS a suicide mission in itself.
The litteraly balance of the galaxy hang into a goal. Open the citadel and make the Crucible work.
It also elevate the fact that despite the danger, all the species of the Galaxy are fighting for there litteral existence.
For a space opera such as Mass Effect, you can't hardly go better than this music who both give impact to the scene with it's slow rythme. But also make the whole battle the culmination of everything that the players went trought since landing on Eden Prime back in ME1.
They REALLY should have done two things different except from the ending:
1. Adept Suicide Mission Soundtrack for that scene
2. Let Shepard hold this speech... I mean: Shepard leads the united fleets and except from the humans, they are not there because of earth or because of Hackett; they are there because of Shepard, HE is the one who always did, what other people said was impossible:
HE defeated the harbinger, HE defeated the Collectors, HE defeated the Heretics, HE brought together Geth and Quarians (at least for some people :D )
So it is obvious, that if anyone, HE is the one, who will defeat the Reapers
He defeated sovereign
Yeah when I first saw this scene I thought that it would be way cooler for Shepard to tell the speech.
He did command the forces. I think they put hackett because he's alliance
It give me chills with this suicide soundtrack, it make it more epic.
Ill never forget you mass effect. the 1 game in the world that has touched my mind and heart so deep. Story,Lore.Relationships and more. we will not forget.
3:00 in their trillion year + esistence, this was definitely the Reapers first "Oh shit!" moment.
Definitely not. This was more of a, "Ah, good. The mortals have made it easy for us and brought everything to the slaughter, rather than forcing us to root them out."
@@alphazerg4587 couldn't have said it better myself, the reapers would have curbstomped us if it wasn't for the crucible
Do you know what I thought was a missed trick here. Quarian Fleet reporting, Geth Fleet reporting. Would have been nice to see them fly together.
This music fits so much better in this scene than the original music. I wonder if someone tried create a mod that makes this music play in the actual game.
I can't wait to relive this journey remastered
Man, I have tremendous respect for the Battle of Endor (still takes my #1 space-battle spot), but if they ever did a film worthy of the game, with the proper build up this scene on the big screen would blow Star Wars out of the running.
This plays in my head when my Stellaris empire attacks a equivalent Fallen Empire.
I just did that last night. And this is immediately what I thought of. Is that bad? They outmatched me by 20k, but I had just gotten the ascendancy perk of dealing 33% more damage to fallen empires. It was a good battle. I won :D
Get the Mass Effect soundtrack mod and you can actually play it when battling awakened empires.
Man, just speechless basically. I'm conflicted whether this was the version that was supposed to be in the actual 3rd game it's that good.
Damn, it actually fits pretty damned good!
Bravo!
The title of the track fits the circumstances quite, but the music itself would fit even better if we wiped them out in orbit, IMO.
Definitely works both ways!
It’s even more powerful knowing that, even at the highest level of force you can bring to bear against the Reapers that vast vast vast majority of the fleet is obliterated.
And still, they walked together into the mouth of hell.
Just when I thought this scene couldn't get anymore epic.
I was just grinning the entire time because it's SO EPIC!!!
No arguments here! Can listen to it for YEARS and never put my smile down!
While I do think the soundtrack when the fleet itself arrives should stay, they could have added this to areas of the cutscene like when the fighters come in to attack the Reapers. Seeing the fighters, Earth and the Reapers in between them with the suicide mission soundtrack definitely works better than the silence that the game gave us.
HOLY SHIT. THIS VERSION IS PERFECTION. THANKS BY THE GODDESS. 👊👊👊👊 YOU MADE MY DAY
They should’ve used this track in the final cut for ME3
I love the original music, but this is just so poetic to me! Only Shepard and the Normandy went to face the Collectors, now the species and their fleets are charging toward the Reapers! The suicide mission music made me cheer for Shepard and his crew, but the same song used here? It makes me cheer for everyone! The impact is so much more powerful here!
you're right, it does work well. the timing was epicly perfect.
Twelve years has passed and this is the most epic fleet assemble in the whole history of gaming. The score from ME2 was a magic touch.
"Today the Reapers will learn that the galaxy has declared we will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on. We’re going to survive. Today we celebrate our Interdependence Day!"
- President Shepard
4:53 When the dev make the best shot :p
10 years old today!
By far the best scene to ever exist in a game
It fits too well for this to be a coincidence. They surely intended to use this song but then changed their minds late on for some reason.
Dam , I think I may have fugged up the original version for myself now, this is so much better it matches perfectly
Bit more of a suicide mission than that in Mass Effect 2 in my opinion. Bloody good job as well.
One of the most epic moments in gaming history for me
This should of been the background song for this part of ME 3. 5.00 to 5.18 blends so well with Normandy charging
Is it weird that I tear up watching this? Chills all over.
I just recorded this scene without music and added the soundtrack in Sony Vegas. I didn't really imported the soundtrack into the game.
Dude, you created the most epic scene in the audiovisual history...
I just can't get over some of the Reapers who appear to be just sitting there like "WTF is happening?!" while others are firing at the Shepard Effect Fleet.
Reapers: well.... this may prove a challenge
Друг: Сколько раз ты это посмотрел
Я: невозмутимо с легкой гордостью-Достаточно
This is so... beautiful :)
While I am not certain how I feel about some portions of it, I damn sure loved that awesome segment(my favorite from this track) linked to the fleets arriving :D
I really was surprised to not see any sort of callback to this track throughout the game. Usually most games that are a part of a series hide tidbits and patterns from previous soundtracks in the current one, either as a whole or buried as a piece of a new track. Take the 'One they Fear' track from skyrim, in it you can hear a more rapid paced portion of oblivion's 'Reign of the Septims' theme.
+Cuheru Scratch that, after another couple playthroughs, am now completely sold on this incredibly awesome idea :D
THIS was the real suicide mission
Goosebumps much?
This was fucking dope. Should have been in the actual game.
A wet dream for a SciFi Fan
That was... incredibly fitting to the scene!
This is exactly what these scenes needed.
It fits so perfectly!!!
Fits very nicely
I have one thing to say, this is to all you Reaper folk: When 10+ alien races each send their entire naval fleet to come take you down, and an epic song starts to play as they open fire on you... YOU FUCKED UP SOMEWHERE. :P
For a single moment. As all races from across the galaxy enter the solar system to make their last stand.
You can litteraly gear the thunder of a billion souls as they pass the relay.
Won't be another game like this
You know every krogen in that fleet had to have been peeing themselves to be able to fight in this battlr
Having watched this, the real scene is gonna blow now.
suprisingly this looks pretty cool
GOOSEBUMPS!!!
that made it all the more epic. :D
Excuse me I just need to go post this on EA's blog. THIS is how you go out in a blaze of glory.
Only one misstep: Destiny Ascension shoulda been there too.
Suicide Mission It's reserved for Mass Effect 2 and let's keep it that way. The music in Me3 in this battle is just as sensational and definitely better suited to the circumstances of the events.
It's weird, it doesn't really match the moment as much as The Fleets Arrive does, but maybe I'd say that the other way around if this had been here originally. IDK.
Its like... too epic for just the warp-in of the Fleet. Good video and share though so I'll give it a like.
A united galaxy coming together to face certain death against a race of ancient machine gods is pretty epic in my book.
Just started playing the mass effect trilogy again wished this was in the ME3:c
Would you mind doing this again but with the 4k legendary edition one :)
@movievp pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
Ahhhh go on
ua-cam.com/video/Q9Ja6M__GTg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Jackie
Here you go... well except 4k part, I don't have any sorry
How the fuck can you drop a masterpice like this not putting it into your next game? I REALLY HOPE this Gem will be present in ME4.
+Davide Di Paolo I love suicide mission, but it would make no sense to add it on the next game since the track itself was made to portray the bond between Shepard and his crew. And on the next game will be no shepard, nor the same crew. It's like on star wars: the imperial march is a beloved theme, but it didn't appeared on the force awakens because there is no more empire, nor vader.
Francisco Arcos It did when Vaders burnt mask is shown
Epic.
I'mma comment again since it's been awhile since I did. This video NEEDS more views! People! Spread the word of this UA-camr's awesomeness!
It is so much better than the real scene's music. Great job dude. Mass effect is the best game ever
тоже возникла мысля, что данная композиция больше подходит этой сцене. как никак тоже битва самоубийственная
Идеально подходит.
I know what you mean about the whining and I agree to a large extent about people overreacting about it. I'm just baffled by the lack of climax on the final mission, except for two or three endurance rounds with reaper ground troops. If they had all the trouble exposing reaper motivations and reasoning, why not have the final fight inside one? I found the Derelict Reaper mission one of the best ones of all trilogy and I'd love to know the innards of an actual reaper.
This is how I want Destiny 2 The Final Shape to end
1:45
I wish there was a MOD that could play this over my game when it gets to the final battle. I’d even pay for that lol
You should wear your officer uniform soldier! Beside, nice job!
That's epic! Nice one :D
If you ask me, that fleet could probably destroy the reapers without the crucible... especially if they had that in the background :')
They’d have definitely taken a shit load of Reapers down with them, but I’m gonna have to be “that guy” and remind you that it was stated multiple times in the game that the galaxy’s united fleet would not nearly be enough to stop the Reapers.
(Will never deny the music though!🤩😭)
@@rebel1717 True haha. I think my ideal ending would have been one where 'refuse/shooting the kid' was actually a valid option in the crucible and the outcome was determined by your galactic readiness, but yeah, it was made pretty clear we stood no chance.
Also, crazy to think my original comment is 9 years old and I'm about to replay this scene on the remaster!
Man, the feels on this.. love it!! Nice job
Wow! Really well done with the music editing. That track really pairs well with that scene.
Покажите эту сцену в кинотеатре под эту музыку, и радость взорвет весь зал. Я гарантирую. Я уж точно от этой сцены в кино буду орать
Mass Effect 3's ending was an ending that no one wanted to accept cause they still wanted to continue their adventure. Never let it end.
No one can blame them for that.
But all things come to an end. And Mass Effect 3 did it right. You just had to spend the time to progress through the entire trilogy to get the ending YOU want to remember.
I did want to continue but all great adventures have to have a beginning and a end no matter how much we may want it to go on forever
awesome tone lacing in w/ the voices and other EQ. very profesional & well done.
^_^
Мне понравился момент...когда адмирал поднялся на борт...обратите внимание, за ним Его пехотинцы следуют(вооружённых в смысле , на мостик идут с оружием), и Шепард молчит..."адмирал всё таки, пришёл ушёл"
Even the Emperor Himself Approves. Now that's saying something.
Someone out there know the name of the track that plays between 0:00 and 0:20 ?
+Bruno Paixao i think that was spectre induction from the first games ost
This is the most epic thing that I've ever seen. Compete with the Pelennor's Rohirrim charge in The Return of the King...
Seeing all those ships come out....I just-can't...help think- I WANT MASS EFFECT LEGO NAO!
This is the USS Enterprise and Voyager reporting, heard you had a reaper problem!!! lol jk i had to! Seen another post on a video of this battle with all of the games that involve spaceships doing a reporting thing lol it was just to funny but for real though this battle seen with "the best" seen and this music is just to unreal it couldnt get any better than this!
Major dittos ash356 this is where the game ended for me aswell
@1.45 OHHHH SHITTTTTT
Also, to continue since I ran out of characters, this should only have played if one attained maximum EMS. A nice big "Fuck you" to the Reapers.
yes this song is better in ME3 then ME2
IMO this was the most epic gaming scene Ive ever seen.
You can say bad about ME3, but after playing ME2 and ME3, and "worked" 50-100 hours to bring together the fleet this scene is something that no other could come close.
I was going to ask how you removed the music to put suicide mission on top of it then I realised...
There was barely any music anyway, such a wasted opportunity, Suicide Mission is an epic track!!
Lol, right?! So many reasons why SM plays so well into this scene.
much better than the original
Wow. This really is better than the original.
yeaaah much better than the fucking original final!
I.. I'm sorry. This is what these scene should have had. If they'd have done this for ME3, maybe (BIG MAYBE) some minor alterations to the notes to make it match the scene more exactly, it would've gone down as the moment in the game that reviewers would've called: "The Suicide Mission's theme's triumphant reprisal." But no, they did not, such a lack of sheer musical epicness was but one crack in the flawed ending for the amazing series and universe that is Mass Effect. You sir, do ME3 justice.
Fits perfectly and sounds like how it should've sounded. Wonderful work!
how do you only have 6800 views????
This video is the definition of epic!
I didnt have a very good force because *SPOILER* i lost the quariens and i didnt do a couple of other stuff. My fleets were being decimated.
