I highly disagree. It’s overrated. People seem to put it in every damn vegan/vegetarian recipe and I can’t stand the texture and the fact it adds no good flavor at all. I’d much rather substitute sauteed mushroom and walnuts for a good meat substitute.

Thank you, the sauce can be made how you like it, but here is what we do 1 Tbsp garlic 1 Tbsp ginger 1 Thai Chili 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp Black Vinegar 2-3 Tbsp Chili Oil 1 Tsp Sesame Oil 1 Tbsp Red Chili Pepper 1/2 Tsp White Pepper 1/4 Cup Vegetable stock Salt to taste Sugar to taste of desires
Great question. Filo dough has layers of butter, and in water, may fall apart. Filo would work if you are baking these in the oven, or air frying them.

Where do you find wrappers?
We found it at the Asian store, called HMart.
Most regular grocery stores carry them in their refrigerated section.
Wontons should be cooked *inside the broth* for wonton soup.
