@@FTNChicken yeah but Leslie Jones isn't a cast member anymore. She transitioned before coming on the show and was my favorite comedian. She got alot of trans and racial hate bc of her looks, saying Leslie is drag and it be obvious it's a man wearing a dress.

Look her up in previous skits. Shes been in a few movies too. I think people get confused bc she didn't have her bottom surgery when she wasn't famous.

I was digging the MichaeI McDonald vibe he had going. I also was surprised he was actually playing the guitar. Wasn't mind blowing, but a lot better than you'd expect from a live comedian.

James Austin Johnson is SUPER talented I don't understand why they kind of sidelined him the season when last season he was in almost every sketch. He does GREAT impressions and now I see he can sing as well. Not sure what's going on but I'd like to see more of him 🥳

As an old, I am 100% sure the character is based on Michael Macdonald, who is famous for his duets. I don't know much about him, but Black Twitter absolutely adores him (there was a mixup, people thought he passed away, wow that man is beloved), so he's gotta be a pretty good guy.

Travis Kelce is a surprisingly good actor. Very much unlike the other sports personalities that have hosted.

I don't know why, but at the end of those segments when they zoom out to show the set, and a production assistant runs out and just yanks the host off the stage is pretty hilarious to me.
This has been one of the funniest snl episodes all year, if not the last decade. Every sketch was hilarious and Travis hit each one out of the park. I hope he returns and hosts more episodes.

In the last second you can see the wardrobe lady bursting in to rush Travis to change his clothes for the next sketch
At least once an episode they will pan out showing the whole set and audience. That lady is in charge of getting the guest host to wardrobe and she’ll literally grab their hand and run them offstage.
Travis looks like he was having a good time though just dancing with the crew instead of looking for her to lead lol
Her job seems super stressful.

A minor point, but so nice to see SNL realize that bio siblings do not need to be matching in skintone. Lots of families look like this, but on tv, they always try to make mixed people look 50/50. My besties growing up were from a nuclear, intact, bio family of many colors - great to see some representation for real world genetics.

This was a pretty good sketch, but it's the super specific Streets of Rage 2 on Game Gear bit that is killing me. There are so few people that are going to get that. I'm not an autograph guy, but now I am determined that if I ever get a chance, I'm getting Kelce to sign a copy of that game.
