😂 my spouse escaped the regime and our 2 boys are Canadian and it's funny how relatable this is, in our house he always says these same things how he fled and he did his time as a political prisoner in villa marista so they could appreciate freedom they have in Canada today etc etc.
I like Michael Longfellow, but this guy could do great stand up as well. They both do really well on stand up. I wonder if either will take Colin or Che's place when they leave?
Lmao when he said “my mom is Cuban my dad is Dominican that means they’re divorced” I burst out laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 his whole existence made sense tho, very energetic… double Caribbean 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why is the jazz musician bit that funny and accurate?? 😂 Also: "Mi comido favorito" should have gotten a laugh--you could tell he was waiting for at least one person in the audience to react, and when they didn't he was like, "White audience, I guess" 😁
When I was a kid my English teacher in Puerto Rico told me I was wrong when I tried to correct her errors. She smacked my desk with her ruler. I had already been a student in English for some years. I KNEW English! But she didn't like to be corrected. It's a good thing Marcello had a good teacher - props to Ms Thornton!!! 💯👍

I was skeptical, at first, because I’m a negative Nancy, but this guy had me crackin up something fierce! Like a real knee slapper. Shit, both knees. Thanks man, appreciate you. Laughter is the best medicine:)))
Most of Trevor’s joke are more nuanced. Understandable most of his jokes would fly over some people whose intellect has a more pedestrian comprehension and of course would not find him funny. Marcelo is funny but not that deep or layered like Trevor Noah or Dave Chapelle. But he is young and still has lots of room to improve for sure.
This was good man. I came from Cuba at the age of 20 after living the periodo especial in the 90s. Later joined the Army, and it was always fascinating to hear about the "struggles" people were going through. 😄 So yeah, I can relate to your mom I guess.

Marcello is hilarious! They’ve turned the Spanish class this into a terrific SNL sketch with Ana de Armas. Love it.
I saw that one and I LOOOOVVVED IT!!
So refreshing to hear a comedian who isn't vulgar and cussing every other word. You can be a great comedian, without it, and this young man proves it.
