I bought the 50th Anniversary version, and it is a good looking set that displays very well. I only had problems with one bit of kit, that being the web harness for the canteen and cover - the straps simply would not stay in place and it would always end up looking like the vinyl Geyperman version. In the end, I picked up a set of vintage Action Man Royal Engineer's web gear and relegated the wonky carrier to my Australian Jungle fighter after discretely stitching the straps in place. Of course that led to upgrading the British commando to a Bren gunner...it never seems to end, does it? Great video as always, Gary. I appreciate the direct and no-nonsense approach to pointing out the details of the uniforms and various kit, as well as the videography which allows the viewer to pause and examine the piece for as long as they like. Stay well, my friend, and thank you for sharing this with us.
Awesome Gary great to know, the 2017 version are expensive for me in New Zealand with the exchange rate and posting lol so be looking for newer version but the quality may be different, we have a good toy shop here in town that I haven't been to in along time so will go look when I can see what they have cheers
Personal experience with this one- after getting the basic soldier with the black beret, SLR and sweater, the Special Operations Kit: loved the duffle bag chock-o-block with equipment- hated the brittle Tommie helmet😢 Made authenticity hard because the SLR seemed Seemed SEEMED out of whack with WW2 weapons- a Sten Bren or Sterling works👍🏼💪🏽...
Is this GI joe? the box art and the figures are similar, but the name is different. Is it owned by Hasbro and the name was changed for copy right in a certain country?

UK based Palitoy gained the GI Joe license in 1966 and renamed him Action Man
